Softmirror:What's this one saying? Nobody is stopping you from picking your own wife from a poor family |
What a strategic move from both families |
Oya cook am chop na. These Tinubu supporters are something else Softmirror:Positive news for pepper? Before APC nobody talks about the price of pepper in this country Una truly no get shame |
Shameless Reno has still not replied that white guy to clear his name. I told you all that he's a charlatan |
Tinubu is the most useless president in the history of Nigeria. See the way people are brutally murdered in cold blood all over the country. |
![]() Drama nation. This is comical |
Fekumzi123:You’re missing the point entirely. After Gowon failed to honour the agreements of the Aburi Accord, the Eastern Nigeria Consultantative House of Assembly which was made up of all ethnic groups in Eastern region passed a resolution which compelled Ojukwu — by a unanimous decision to declare Biafra. Every tribe stood behind that call. If Ojukwu had gone ahead to accept the oil for weapons deals on his own , it would have meant betraying the very people who gave him that mandate. And where we come from, betrayal is an abomination. |
Lanretoye:You clearly don’t know the Igbos. They are a people who will always choose death over chains and oppression. Read about the Igbo Landing of 1803 on St. Simons Island, Georgia — one of the most powerful acts of resistance in human history. When captured Igbo slaves faced with the horror of enslavement, rose against their captors and collectively walked boldly into the sea and drowned while singing in Igbo language. They chose death with dignity rather than a life of humiliation. That same spirit runs in the blood of every Igbo person today |
I knew they will never have the balls to dismantle a criminal enterprise like JAMB |
JustSayHello:Exactly, the Igbos are indeed a mystery. Even the Europeans were astonished when they first encountered them — they wondered how a people so capable with every advantage to conquer and dominate others around them, instead chose to allow others the right to identity, dignity and independence something even the colonial powers themselves could not practice. The Igbos chose death over slavery and that unyielding spirit made them targets of the white man’s resentment, a sentiment that still lingers today.[m Among Nigeria’s major ethnic groups, the Igbos stand out as the only one that didn't build empires or kingdoms on the blood of neighboring minorities. This single trait defines their uniqueness and enduring moral strength. |
Alaigbo: ![]() You clearly don't know anything about the Biafran War and the moral discipline that guided Ojukwu and the Igbos. Ojukwu had every opportunity to win the war. For your info, France and several foreign interests were willing to recognize and support Biafra fully with weapons, machinery and troops in exchange for oil. Yet, Ojukwu refused to compromise the future of the minorities or sell out the Eastern Region for foreign gain. He could have turned the struggle into a purely Igbo agenda but he chose to protect the unity and dignity of all the peoples under Biafra, including the minorities . That decision wasn’t foolishness, it was a display of conscience and leadership that valued justice over victory. So, while some of you with limited knowledge may boast about defeating Biafra, history will remember that Ojukwu and the Igbos fought with honour and restraint. They had the means to win but chose not to betray their values and that’s something no amount of military triumph can erase..... |
That's the truth many don't want to hear |
Adblg0610:Many capable students who excelled in SSCE usually perform poorly in JAMB due to exam anxiety, poor testing conditions, systemic irregularities and lately technical glitches, not necessarily because of a lack of intelligence. The overreliance on one central exam like JAMB as the sole measure of academic potential has not served its intended purpose. |
You waited for 2 years man. Just continue to wait. Who knows maybe she'll get into mood after 10 years or 20. |
That professor of Islamic studies really messed JAMB up big time. There's no single credible left in that institution. Glad the government is finally doing the right thing in that direction |
That's how you know a man of integrity |
The government should release Nnamdi Kanu, courts have freed him long ago. Self-determination is not a crime. The courts have ordered that his arrest and prosecution are unlawful and unconstitutional
|
A man will not do this |
correctyourself:Hypocrite, do you not also see bandits, terrorists and kidnappers with their weapons having meetings in broad daylight with government officials everywhere on social media. What is good for Bello is also good for Nnamdi..this is what the northern youths are saying |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9xv1C7GLSE?si=sq19fvbT4Bv_WSg_ The National Association of Northern Nigeria Youths has called on President Bola Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu. Excerpts: ..."this is from The National Association of Northern Nigerian Youths to his excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu Concerning Chief Nnamdi Kanu. From the north west are saying set Nnamdi Kanu free. Let Nnamdi Kanu be pardoned. If boko haram, terrorists and kidnappers will be pardoned, why can't you pardon Nnamdi Kanu. This is our request, this is our plea from the north. We voted for you, let there be justice in Nigeria". |
Peter Obi has said it all. Obi’s point strikes at the heart of Nigeria’s political reality. In a complex nation like ours, the mass defection of politicians to the ruling party will not guarantees public support. Nigerians have become wiser. They now judge leaders not by the colour of their party flags but by the content of their character and the impact of their actions. In today’s Nigeria, the people’s allegiance is shifting from parties to principles. Voters are watching, questioning and demanding good governance. |
"People must know Reno Omokri is a pathological, habitual, calculating, self-serving liar—from someone who knows him personally" Reno doesn't lie like most liars. He lies calm, cool, constant. Up close, he's reptilian. Chilling. Soulless. Yet so charming."—Mike Arnold |
This government is known for lies |
tommy589:So, with which language will the science students be taught and in which will they practice their profession after graduation |

ThierryJay:You’re the one being too mechanical with reasoning here. Governmeny agencies don’t operate in isolation their actions are all interconnected. If the Ministry of Transport officially approved a business at a specific address, that approval indirectly validates the premises as suitable for the intended commercial activity. Otherwise, what’s the essence of an approval tied to a confirmed location? That's the rascality that the Lagos State government is now known with where different state government agencies can decide to operate outside the laws of Nigeria. |
ednut1:Yes they do and it's linked with utility bills from that address. Maybe you've not done any registration with them before. BPE self will do physical verification |
ThierryJay:Don't get me angry this morning. How will a state government register and give approval to a business entity without doing business address verification? |
Lagos state government and rascality ![]() You gave approval in 2024 and you are demolishing in 2025. |
Ttalk:Yes, oil remains the main source of federal government revenue You don't even understand what you posted. All the "non-oil revenue has surpassed oil revenue" you are salivating on are technically comparing: non-oil tax revenue (VAT, CIT, import duties, customs, etc.) vs. oil-related tax revenue (Petroleum Profit Tax, royalties, etc.) They are not comparing: Total non-oil revenue vs. Total oil earnings (crude export proceeds + taxes + royalties + NNPC remittances). So whenever you see a headline which say “non-oil has overtaken oil revenue,” What they’re really saying is: Tax from non-oil sectors is now larger than tax from oil sectors. not that Nigeria earns more from non-oil than from crude oil itself. Even the so called non oil revenue is still gotten from companies and economic activities tied to the crude oil value chain This may be too much for you to understand but that's what it is in simple terms |
