Politics / Re: Judiciary Workers Declare Nationwide Crisis Over Fuel Subsidy by Showpatos: 6:26pm On Jun 05, 2023
Bought 25 litres for 14 and d tin no full.....bro my eye clear straight up
Samogloby:
Good! I can't continue buying 14 liters of fuel for 8000 every three days in Abuja. I expect Federal government to put in place some palliative to cussion the effects on the poor masses. I can't wait to join the protest in Abuja. First time to join protest
Politics / Re: Judiciary Workers Declare Nationwide Crisis Over Fuel Subsidy by Showpatos: 6:24pm On Jun 05, 2023
Wat a joke
adioolayi:
Okay...

But, wait..

Who exactly are the workforce , working at these dead refineries all these years No be the same members of NLC
.I don't understand why the NLC excos can't help the government sanitise the workforce for efficient delivery.

If Government get money and they are just being wicked, NLC should know..

If Government no get money true true to pay for subsidy...NLC should know..

Who are the people behind the transport of subsidize fuel from Nigeria to other countries...can this be done without any organ of NLC members in the know

NLC should really champion revolution devoid of protest within the workforce...they should beging to name and shame political appointees that may want to use them for corruption..

I am 100% certain if certain workers, at Federal , State or Local government is not party to corruption..no way political appointees or elected officers can embezzle our funds.

U expected them to reduce their expenses to favour masses....bro I doubt dat
Kennyfancy:
Tinubu should at least provide insensitives for the masses, he should provide low cost buses and reduce train tickets and encourage agricultural farming by providing more security then add up to 20% increment for civil servants and reduce government expenses on Government payroll
Politics / Re: Falana Says NNPC’s Decision To Increase Pump Price Of Petrol Is Illegal by Showpatos: 1:37pm On Jun 03, 2023
Nnpc can set it own price but not wen subsidy is till on the current petrol till the end of june
Raheeqilmaktoom:

I need to understand what Mr. Falana is saying here.

Is it that NNPC can't fix price for other players or what?

A limited Liability company has every right to set for itself the price at which to trade it's products, peak Milk can decide to increase the price of it's products tomorrow, it's another thing if people will still buy.

And wen more and more people get into it and form association with a common interest ......please tell me wat will bring about reduction in the price of petrol
Cheeryfeet:
I think this is good, once there is adequate competition, the prices will definitely drop as more and more people get into it.

We rely on loan from them because our leader keep stealing the money meant for economy development.....why Shud the masses pay for the crimes
SmartyPants:

You are comparing Nigeria with China and the US when we regularly rely on loans from those countries to sustain basic government operations? You need to understand this: Nigeria is broke! We don't have money! No kobo to even pay civil servants even at the highest level! We're in trouble!

Yesterday I decided to pay a visit to my parents before leaving today. Just this morning an unknown number called my mom and introduce himself as a Bank customer care. My mom handed over the phone to me because she doesn't understand what the caller was saying (the call kept disconnecting). The Werey scammer kept flashing because he doesn't have airtime.

Seems he finally bought airtime and called. I answered the call and demanded to know who he was, the guy told me to give the phone to the owner which I told him you're a scammer Abi? U dey find who u wan scammer this early morning?

caller: God punish you idiot, I say give the phone to the owner 😂

Me: your Papa! Fool. U no go go find work and help your miserable life. Thunder fire you there.

Omo, we kept exchanging words and we started exchanging insults in Bini language until the Werey ended the call. I still wasn't satisfied and then called him with my own phone, the guy picked up and the insults continued 😂 until he ended it again and blocked my number grin

Guys, tell your parents not to answer any call from any so-called Bank customers, they're all scammers.

This is the scammers number 08131146579

There is nothing good in d removal of subsidy.....thats the only thing poor masses enjoy from the government.......at the end the excess charges paid by Nigeria on each litres of fuel will be another way to cash out by our greedy politicians
Business / Re: CBN Drops ATM Withdrawal Limit To N20k/Day by Showpatos: 11:38am On Dec 07, 2022
Anonymoususher:
Buhari is the downfall of Tinubu.

The man is doing everything possible to frustrate Tinubu's chances of buying votes. He saw how Tinubu brought out bullion vans of cash to buy voted for him in 2019 and he doesn't want that.

First he signed electoral act and approved used of BVAS for election, Tinubu has been crying since then because it reduced his chances of rigging the election.

Next he introduced Naira redesigned which limits their vote buying power, he didn't stop at that he gave a very short deadline which prevents them from quickly changing enough old notes and now he has put a cap on daily withdrawal.

Buhari is Tinubu's kryptonite. He meant well for Nigeria but the cabals and the people that sponsored him hijacked his government. Now he has done two terms and has nothing to lose, now is the time to hand over Nigeria to the people but I am surprised that Tinubu is still parading himself as the president and not seeing the handwriting on the wall.

The game has changed. His only alternative now will be the use of violence and intimidation to keep opposition voters in doors
