does the examination varies for these various disciplines? my interest on business management n IT I don't think the other fella got your question very well. I will simply put it this way, no part certifications you either qualify to be a chartered accountant by going thru diff stages depending on the requirements you can satisfy. Though there are trainings but not for the purpose of this discussion. Thanks. |

You all dont even know the nature of the job and yet pins are falling like rain in this thread. Am dissapointed with Nigerian graduates. Desperation for a job shouldnt make you guys lose your senses and fall into the hands of con men. You typed it all bro. It is so glaring why they came out of the universities the way they are now. Too bad for Nigeria graduates. |

This man is more hard working & well respected than GEJ all over the world. GEJ doesn't have the charisma to command such level of respect after supervising the biggest thievery in African politics in the last 6 years. Jonathan is a common thief. God bless Buhari and Osinbajo I don't know you can as well talk on politics, anytime I see your moniker its always about sex. |

Citing the case of Ameachi as a judicial precedent. Ameachi went to challenge his removal from the governorship race by his party(PDP). After the election has been concluded the party won with another candidate, but the supreme court in its right declared that Ameachi won the primary hence he should have been the flag bearer, Ameachi benefited from the victory of the party when he was not the candidate presented by the party. A logical deduction from this case is that APC can substitute for Audu citing Ameachi case as a judicial precedent. |

Too bad Buhari a calm leader is leading impatient Nigerians. Just few months to the start of his administration, he has been faced with barrage of criticisms without breathing space not minding of some facts. What we fail to realise is that, for any government to pay such amount out, they must have realistic assessment of what they have on ground to know how effectively they can finance that programme. It will be gullible of any government to just pay such amount out without good plan on ground just in the name of trying to avoid public out-pour. God bless Nigeria. |

misspicy: well marriage is not a big deal when you can ignore the society and family buh if you cannot marriage completes a woman in d society atleast thats how most of us were brought up....
so d oda day i had an argument with mum n i told her am not gonna marry till am 30 she started crying and rejecting it that i must leave her house before am 26...kikiki an still in my early 20s n i plan to make it before marriage ....buh my mum will have nothing of it,so its up to me to make my dough before am 26 so as to avoid stories that touch d hrt eg...titi has 2 kids now, shola is getting married in two weeks etc What if you made your cash before 26 and the right person is not just right there with you? Marrying because of societal outcry aint the best. Marry when you feel it is right ,with the right person. You spend that institution alone, the society will not spend it with you. |

Politics › Re: 'Buhari’s Likely AGF Has High-caliber Fraud Suspects, Accused Terror Mastermind' by shrimati(m): 4:33pm On Oct 30, 2015 |
Nihilist: I'm not even arguing this. The judge knows that the client's lawyer might very well soon be his boss and might already be open to compromise with his career prospects in mind.
Ocholi might be already privy to information that would indict his clients if known to the prosecution. When he becomes AGF, is he just going to magically forget this information?
There's no logical way to rationalise this nonsense. As a professional he is not obliged to disclose such information. Though ethical dilemma might arise in such case. The state might get certain information from any one as the need might arise for it. The question of is he being objective and seen to be so when such matter arises? I think the best is not to give him the role of attorney General, because even if he is fair he might not be seen as being so. |
Politics › Re: 'Buhari’s Likely AGF Has High-caliber Fraud Suspects, Accused Terror Mastermind' by shrimati(m): 3:22pm On Oct 30, 2015 |
Nihilist: He doesn't need to hold public office before his interests are conflicted. The mere fact that his nomination for office is a matter of public knowledge is sufficient to, inter alia constitute a hindrance to the successful prosecution of his clients in many ways. Indeed, court proceedings were suspended so that he could attend his screening.
smh that court proceeding was suspended for him to attend screening is just a rumour from the rumour mill. some other factors could be the be responsible for that. The fact still stands that the issue being raised is not enough to make him unfit for the job. |
Politics › Re: 'Buhari’s Likely AGF Has High-caliber Fraud Suspects, Accused Terror Mastermind' by shrimati(m): 2:43pm On Oct 30, 2015 |
Nihilist: But he's getting paid to go against the state. Several times more that the state could ever pay him sef.
There's no argument about this. Clash of interest. This should NOT be happening He was, as soon as become a government appointee he ceases to be. Even his law firm should not be seen to do so hence objectivity will be impaired. |

skillip: @Op, nice write up you have written. However, I have some observations to make. I think after the summary your work experience comes next, I don't have time to be looking at interest etc first, because I have too many Cv's to peruse and no time. I will prefere this format, Summary, work experience and accomplishment just beneath each job/place you worked, skills follow etc. Like I said it's just my opinion, I just look for what you have done first, achievments/accomplishment, matching skills etc. Keep it up. Yes, nice observation, I belong to that school of thought. "Tell me your experience before you tell me what you achieved why gaining the experience." |
Politics › Re: 'Buhari’s Likely AGF Has High-caliber Fraud Suspects, Accused Terror Mastermind' by shrimati(m): 2:27pm On Oct 30, 2015 |
Nihilist: Whether or not his clients commuted the crime is irrelevant.
What is most pertinent is that, in the disputes between the state and his clients, he's currently opposing the position of the state.
If he becomes justice minister, he becomes the embodiment of the state, there is then a clash of interests, and the payments received for his services are suitable incentives to sabotage the rule of law.
This is just common sense na? Well I appreciate your logic, now he will be representing an institution, this is where his integrity will come into question. Let look at this scenario, in a situation where a new client you have had a course to face in the law court brings a new case for you to defend, will you object the case as it could be clash of interest? Will that not lead to bringing your personal interest to fore, in a matter which professional attitude should prevail? |

Politics › Re: 'Buhari’s Likely AGF Has High-caliber Fraud Suspects, Accused Terror Mastermind' by shrimati(m): 2:02pm On Oct 30, 2015 |
Nihilist: It is very wrong because all three listed cases are being prosecuted by the State.
If he successfully becomes a minister, then there is a conflict of interest where a minister of state is arguing on behalf of his client against the state.
Very wrong. mind you the state is an institution. We have to ask a pertinent question. Was he the one involved in the crime, at the time of accepting the case from the client, was he fully aware the client committed the crime? Lots of begging and technical questions to answer. That act alone in itself cannot make him unfit for the position. |

I believe they could not fight on a technical ground so they ran away. All the arguments the APC senator engaged PDP on the senate floor were alien to PDP because that is not what they were used to, hence they ran away to live for another day. It is a sorry case Nigeria has not got a good opposition, we have to wait to get that. |
