usman1000: Hey bro ... if you have submitted your visa already, you may still be able to meet up, but if you haven't submitted, it may take a while ... Considering the fact that you really can't predict how quickly IRCC would attend to your application. Personally, I like to afford ample time. So my advice would be to Check on the school's website to know the deadline for the deferment of your program. I believe that will be key in your decision-making. |

PPR DON SHOW MEHHHHN Meke ona no vess abeg ... It came out a while ago but i've been quite busy. Wanted it to be as detailed as possible to help y'all for the sake of reference. Thank God for giving me this, I consider it a special gift. I initially intended on using an agent because of his proclaimed success rate. I con reason am, which agent go tell you about their win-to-loss ratio? So, after having a holistic discussion with him about Visa Applications in general ... I figured ... hey ... This isn't really rocket science, I can do this. And so, everything from start to finish was done BY MYSELF. Here's my timeline below. *Timeline* School Application 12th Dec 2022 Admission 15th Dec 2022 (Centennial College) LOA came 3rd Feb (came in late cus Dem go carry my money give another student, I give dem wahala no be chais until dem release am) Visa Application Submitted 17th Feb Biometrics 22nd Feb (The way the guy that attended to me here kept congratulating me. At this stage IRCC nvr even touch my application. I con dey wonder ) Request for Medical Examination 24th March Medicals done 17th April Medicals updated to passed 26th April PPR dropped 28th April *After the medicals (Q-life family Clinic Lagos), I followed up with Q-life to find out when they had uploaded my Medicals. When they confirmed this, I sent a mail to the ircc nairobi mail and and about an hour later, medical updated to pass. Same goes for the PPR, when I saw nothing was happening 2 days later, I sent a mail to nairobi again informing them that my medical has been updated to passed and then, I kid you not ... 5 mins later I received 2 mails "A message about your application is waiting for you.", checked the portal and PPR was sitting peacefully waiting for yours truly. Lass lass, na God get power. I split my documents into 2 pdf's. the first was for financial related documents, and the second was for any other document. Because of this split, I didn't have too hard a time in compressing my documents. As for the compression, documents that I felt ranked higher in importance, I did little to no compression, while documents that ranked lower, I brutally compressed them. * APPLIED USING GCKEY *Documents submitted* 1st pdf (financials/proof of funds) 45pgs - Detailed clickable Table of contents - writeup explaining everything regarding proof of funds along with all my cash breakdown. - Personal Account Statement (closing bal 16m/regular inflows and outflows, bal nvr went below 1.5m) - Gift Deed from Parents signed by both of them and notarized. (parents transferred 10m to me from their joint account 2 weeks before the statement was printed) - Parents int. Passport. - Dom account statement ($6,000) - CAC of parents company. - Mybankstatement ticket for my Corporate account (contained 800k, inflow/outflow of about 35m/acct interacts regularly with personal acc) - reference letter from the bank stating when I opened the corporate account, account has no issue, and that I am the sole signatory to it. Signed by the branch manager. - Sample invoice raised for one of the inflow transactions in my corporate account. - CAC of my company. - CAC status report of my company. - 6 months payslips from my place of work. - screenshot of salary breakdown from my staff online dashboard. - Telex copy of school fees deposit USD4,000/CAD5,353. - Receipt of deposit from school. - Form A printout showing that I have logged my request to transfer the remaining balance of the school fees. - Letter from someone who borrowed some money from me explaining that he transferred the lump sum of his outstanding debts of 3m. - Receipt of this lumpsum transfer. The receipt came with a barcode that can be scanned for confirmation. - 1 Landed document - Car particulars (proof of ownership, vehicle reg, insurance cert, Auto reg, roadworthiness, etc) - 2 pictures of my baby ... referring to my car . 2nd pdf (all other relevant documents) (41pgs) - Detailed clickable table of contents - Statement of purpose (3 pgs long) (pro tip, try to keep it short, but if you get plenty talk, Organize your plenty talk into well-defined sub-headings so that V.O will know where to look for whatever) - School fees deposit receipt (uploaded this in both 1st and second pdf, make dem no talk say dem no see am ) - Birth Certificate - Nigerian Voter's Card ... probably the last time I would use this for anything to be frank... - NIN Slip - WASSC Result (WAEC) - Nigerian Uni Undergrad offer for provisional admission. - Undergrad University Transcript. - Undergrad Degree BSc Cert - Hons. - Lecturer Recommendation letter with school letterhead. (If you see hyping ehh... ) - Affidavit of return ... (dem say I go come back ooo ... na wetin dem talk for inside the letter ooo ) - NYSC Certificate - Letter of Commendation from my PPA who acted as my previous employer - Company CAC - Letter of employment from current employer. - Confirmation letter as permanent staff from current employer. - Leave of Study from Current Employer... - Work ID Card. - C.V. - Certificate for the course created by my current employer completed. (had barcode for confirmation of this) - Pictures of me @ my workplace, family pictures old and new, Nysc pictures of selfless acts mehhn, was president of my cds group so the pictures really really captured me in the act of goodwill. - screenshot of my 2 youtube channels - My Company card. - Landed property. Really tried my possible best to be as legit as possible. Would really score myself high on that ... but hey ... If you know you know . other compulsory documents for upload. LOA PASSPORT (THAT IS WHAT WE NIGERIANS CALL INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT) DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPH (CANADIAN SIZE) I TOOK 3 DIFFERENT PICTURES AND DIDN'T REST UNTIL I LOOKED CUTE ENOUGH FOR THE V.O . Good luck to everyone still hoping to hear from IRCC ... good news soonest! At least dem don call off the strike. If you’re going to Centennial College Sept intake reach out and let’s connect. If you're also going to TORONTO too please, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to answer any other questions anyone might need. You see this Canada, All of us must enter am . Hello guys ... I've got 2 questions. 1. When using the gift deed route ... say you have got your parents to transfer a significant amount of money to you and you also have your gift deed to back it up, would having the statement of your parents still be a necessity ? 2. At what point should one start sending web forms after submission ? |

apeja2017: Chairmooo ... good news ... I found a way ... it also just happened to me ... but my own I didn't answer any security question wrong ... IRCC portal was acting glitchy, so I had to refresh a couple of times until it not only signed me out ... but locked me out on the grounds of answering security questions wrong ... I was like ... eeewwooo meke una come see my Village people in action. So to solve this, you have to create a brand spanking new GCKey account, and link the former one to the new one. you can check it out on youtube. |

filling that imm1294 form ... abeg ... if you're doing funds collabo with lets say your parents. Maybe your parents gave you gift deed, they've transferred the money to you and your statement shows it and you're also contributing to it yourself... should you select that your parents are the ones sponsoring you or do you select that you're sponsoring yourself in the form? |

I work with a corporate organization. I have my staff dashboard where all my benefits and the breakdown of my slry is written out. Although I have gotten my 6 months payslips for documentation, I was thinking of also screenshoting and adding that dashboard space to also show this. Abi is there any need? |

Republic001: It depends ... if you're gonna do it yourself ... You've got to put in the work. Ask questions... make extensive research and leave no stone unturned. Utilize NL to its fullest. If you know you can't handle this ... go find yourself an agent. The downsides of agent ... more cost, and you won't have access to the visa portal. |
