I edited my post cos it might seem I'm of the opinion no lady has ever tricked a man into marriage. No, that would be untrue. It happens, just as ladies have also been tricked into marrying wife-beaters and men who have families elsewhere. However to say that every random guy (the average bus conductor) is justified in assuming ladies everywhere are plotting to trick him into marriage, is ridiculous.
