AutosRe: How Real Is Omalex Car Loan??? by shurl4(m): 3:28pm On Feb 27, 2020
I cannot believe that anyone is asking if omalex is a scam. I think too many Nigerians are greedy and are always looking for shortcuts hence why it is so easy to scam them and why these scammers will never change. Someone you don't know, that doesn't even have traceable links whether online or physically is telling you that you can get a car shipped to you after paying N115k and you are still here asking if it is a scam or not? Incredible!
SportsRe: Nigeria drawn in a tough group for Qatar 2022 qualifying matches (photos) by shurl4(m): 7:35pm On Nov 30, 2019
That you got it from the internet does not mean it cannot be fake, there are loads of fake information on the internet, you should know this really. Meanwhile, what you posted is really fake, please stop arguing blindly. The draws have not taken place. You can check CAF's website for confirmation.

CrimeRe: The Fiercest And Most Chilling Images From Political Unrests In Africa by shurl4(m): 6:19pm On Nov 22, 2014
McboG:
These pictures (and the anomaly they reflect) evoke unspeakable sadness, but that picture with the young fellow poised to stab the shirtless older man, that picture is truly frightening. The youth is just about to take a human life, but look how cold and casual he seems.
Very frightning picture I must say. However let me quickly point out that particular picture was taken during the recent conflict in the Central African Republic and not in Nigeria. Hope that calms your nerves down a bit.
@Op,please be sure of the original sources of your pictures, some of them never took place in Nigeria. Thanks.

Hahahaha yuroba people mumu enhhh.... So because twitter now translate into yuroba we no go hear word again.

Trust me, this won't last long. People who are ashamed of speaking their language in a gathering. Bitter truth. CONE HEAD
Dear, twitter did not translate into Yoruba. A group of very young Yoruba enthusiasts led by Kola Tubosun came together to translate twitter into Yoruba. This campaign started on Facebook more than a year ago when they were looking for volunteers. Today we are seeing the result of thier hard work and dedication. Let's applaud these young chaps without alluding to tribal sentiments, they have really done well.

PhockPhockMan:
During his declaration, he listed long list of his achievements which your APC masters couldn't disprove. Mind you, good foreign policies is long list of achievements.
To whom it may concern, I am not interested in nor affiliated to any party in Nigeria; APC, PDP, they are all the same. I'm yet to see any visionary leader come amongst the politicians you people kill yourselves for. Futhermore, I do not begrudge your choice in wanting GEJ to continue, I only asked to get tangible reasons for wanting him to continue. Lastly, please do not drag me into the shameless political fight going on here, I'm not interested. At the end of the day, whatever choices you guys make come 2015, you all will have to live with it.
Note to self: never comment on nairaland, it's full of religious, tribal and political bigots...

PhockPhockMan:
. That's why I want the current president to stay till 2019, so that he will implement in full his laudable foreign policy. I know you won't agree with me, but this the nakedt truth.
So the president should stay for four more years just to implement "laudable" foreign policy?
I don't understand what the issue is with Nigerians to be honest!!!!
CultureRe: Some Tribes And Their Weird Cultural Practices by shurl4(m): 8:57pm On Nov 14, 2014
yaskarahyelhope:
I know of a tribe. 4give me, can't remember but in d remotest part of Abuja. One of my mum's colleague at her former workplace, a Fulani learned man from Gombe was invited to d wedding. A very crazy one indeed.

D young maidens happen to be virgins. They'll be lined up maybe in tens i.e, d young women and asked to bend wt dia asses up exposing dia vaginas. They don't wear clothes there coz its typical bushman kingdom.

D young men will come each, also wt ropes going round dia asses. By then dia joysticks are hard after stimulation. They'll be asked to run to d young women. If any man's penis enters d woman's vagina, then he'll be cheered and they become husband and wife. But if not, then till next year.

Chai! Wat a crazy culture. Not unique I must say

alcuin: Op.... Olokun is a "she" and not a "he". She is the veritable and beautiful Goddess of the seas.
Dear, Olokun is often refered to as a "he" in Yoruba mythology, however there are some other places in the world where Olokun is worshipped as a "she". the veritable sea goddes in Yoruba mythology is Yemoja. Personally I think the idea of "Olokun" is to create a deity that is ascribed the ownership and lordship of all earthy water bodies, just like we have "Olorun" the owner of the heavens. However, Olorun is the Supreme God in the Yoruba pantheon.

He's not exactly "next in line" bro. According to news report yesterday, 5 candidates including 3 DIGs and 2 AIGs were shortlisted and screened for the position. By whatever yardstick that was used, he got the position. Congrats to him and I earnestly pray he does what is right for the nation especially as election year approaches. PS: a DIG is higher in rank than an AIG.......

[quote author=safarigirl]wetin do me? Has the guy not been crucified enough?

What did he do wrong to deserve all of this? Did he pull a Suarez? Did he sscore OG? Doesn't it take 11 people to kick a ball? Why not sacrifice the other 10? Na only Mikel waka come Brazil?

Babe, I like you and I rarely slag people but seriously, Mikel played well below expectations during the world cup. I do not think his below average performance is the main reason people are slagging him this much, I think it is his attitude. Let's be honest, his attitude was really uninspiring for a senior player in the Super Eagles. Any player can have a bad tournament, but to have an awful attitude especially when you are expected to be the role model for your team, not cool at all. Well, the Premiership is starting very soon, I wish him the very best!

adaobi123: Nigerians of course. I remember I was wearing shorts in Lagos and enugu and people were staring at me as if I was naked. embarassed I was so embarrassed. embarassed
when was the last time you were in Lagos? i was in Lagos last month and geezzz, my eyes are still hurting me...

to be honest, i'm not really sure all the gazes you got were disapproval looks, i think most were rather ill-concealed gapes, you know Nigerians are not very discrete when it comes to appreciating good stuffs like that lol....

on a more serious note, i visited the beach and yes a lot of the girls were not on bikinis, but i also attended a pool side party and it was another story entirely. i think maybe because the swimming pool was more enclosed so the girls were more relaxed, and even like 70% of the guys were on swimming trunks while at the beach i did not remember seeing any guy on trunks, just a bunch of guys jumping into the sea fully clothed.... generally i do not think Nigerians yet have the beach lounging culture were you go and lie down all day in your swim trunk/bikinis basking in the sun or surfing etc....

SirBigH: "I know you've not had anything to eat since you left Calabar, you need to eat something before you you take a shower, and gist me on how your day has been" I told her. I quickly went to the suya seller in my hood and bought us some good quantity. I bought some oranges too and quickly returned home to fry some plantain in the kitchen. In less than 20minutes, dinner was ready: Fried ripe plantain with suya, cabbage, tomatoes and onion. After eating, I told her she needed to shower or rather we needed to go to the bathroom together. She was coy in her smile and said she want to do it alone to afford her the privacy to wash herself intoto. In my mind I was like, ghen gehn -------->>>>>

The events that followed afterwards is too long. Remember her se.xul preference and all that? It wasn't a small thing between us......
