cherie24: First of all, i dont have a problem...i can see you do.. secondly, i am not forming ITK cos of course i dont it all. If you have read this thread from the beginning, you will come across where someone else advised against this type of thing and that is what i did. ofcourse there is nothing wrong from doing online research cos i did same too. my initial thought was that he wanted to copy someone else's. Thirdly, the guy/woman in question has clarified that what he meant was bullet point step by step process on writing the SOP and not that he wants to copy some one else..fine, i understood. so seriously, i dont knw where ur jumping into the matter from. i can see ur bored to hell so please get a grip on ur life. Lastly, we all are faceless here as long as this forum is concrened so you dnt knw me and u dont knw where i am now so please, suck it up and get it together. hahahaha...if u wanna diss go meet ur peers on 2go..got no tym for shii...if u ain't active commenter here in d days of d likes of earthgreener ,toronto, chrigo et all...I wud save my precious tym rada dan responding to ur diss |

cherie24: @soji0509 - Mr know-it-all i -can-help-self-proclaimed-good-person, apparently, u dont know the meaning of self righteousness, u shld luk at the mirror. @bpatient - maybe next time you should articulate your grammar well. you said u wanted sample and not bullet points.
on the other hand, Please suit urselves and go ahead and copy. its actually non of my business, I tot we are here to advise and help not mislead others. watever doh!! pls tell us wat ur problem is really...to get a sample of sum1else sop inorder to draft another one ain't a biggie at all...pchax dropped his sop for evry1 to use as guideline, he also got some samples online wen he wanted to write his sop, glory be to God he's no in CA doing well.here u are in nija blabbing and forming ITK...jus let dis guy be ...it's not as if he wants to plagiarize sum1else sop,i bliv he jus wanna study it lik a textbuk nd draft his own too |

tnuola: Funny enough, I don't think work experience is an home tie, its more like purpose of visit ( meaning your current occupation tallies with what your proposed course of study) work experience can serve as home ties if you have a study leave letter or letter of employment ur last paragraph explained it all ooo...to all graduate applicants ur work gas b ur home ties....certainly no applicant wud wanna tell the VO he/she is running away from his/her wrk to relocate to canada permanently |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by sidnigga: 9:16pm On Dec 16, 2014 |
jaylinaaa: Nah.
If for anything, NYSC is a very credible source of home tie. All you need to do is simply say you plan to come back to "serve your nation" after you're done with your masters and there you have it!
If not that she's trying to leave that part out of her application, all she will have to do is mention that in her SOP.
Fresh graduates are granted Study Visas without NYSC certificate every time. Don't nobody in CIC care about that green and white parade thing we do for one year after school. well, sum peepz myt hv gotten trv to go for masters witout nysc or wrkin experience but u cnt compare mrA n B togeda...travel history and credibility cud go a lng way to help sum1 gets TRV....but it's beta to play safe and tink less bout comparison...US embassy always hold symposium Erry wednesday for peepz vying for study visa..I remembered d lady stressed much bout prior working experience for an applicant that wanna go for masters, its a gud home ties n which is plausible for real...for u to hv wrked wit d degree earned in nija,u myt wanna improve ur experience and qualification by going abroad to study. |

opsynusy: Yes @snappyfingaz ,just got it
Hi all, finally got the refusal package and the reasons are...
Travel history, length of proposed stay, purpose of visit, current employment situation, personal assets and financial status
I learnt from this thread that length of proposed stay and purpose of visit are almost the same thing..it has to do with the program and the program duration i "THINK" a convincing sop should sort that(pls let me knw if y'all think otherwise)
Who knows how I can tackle the current employment situation as I am serving presently but can't state it because I'm batch b and it ends in july and my resumption date is may 5(I dnt intend finishing nysc)
Personal Assets and financial status ...who knws what and what I can use for personal assets and I really dnt understand the financial status, are they interested in my personal SOA(that one na gobe o,na so so nysc allowee dey there o) or they just want an upgrade in my sponsor 's SOA
Everyone's opinion and idea is highly welcomed as no amt of info is wasted
God bless you all oh gal try defer to sept fall semester...It wud b kinda absurd to study for gud 4yrs n decide not to finish ur service before proceeding to anoda country to study..my thot anyway |

blink6: ---since you are working already, you should've included your own SOA to fix the personal assets and financial status wahala.
---for length of proposed stay, you should've added the letter your school sent alongside your LOA stating the duration of your program( MUN does this)
---purpose of visit, should be fixed in your SOP. you have to convince the V.O that you're going there to study and why. I.e, why did you choose Canada, the school and the course?
Nonetheless, it is well. when did you do your biometric?
God ain't sleeping. the LOA already carries the duration of program....what letter are you talkn bout again blink6: ---since you are working already, you should've included your own SOA to fix the personal assets and financial status wahala.

hesque: @lilspiceyy sorry for the delay. I would suggest you go for undergraduate course, if you check the list of TRV hopefuls you can see that 4 diploma applicants has been delayed for winter. Should we conclude that the VO prefers Bsc, Pgd and Msc applicant? @sidnigga, I do believe that you are also going for a diploma course please do some research before you apply for TRV. e no mean.....scguy got his trv wit NBCC admission |
