Guy d best way out is to study hard in canny, u will get scholarship based on ur academic performance, that wud subsidised ur tuition or either pays it all

Cic doesn't issue permit for any study of 6 months or less.
And CIC won't issue visa more than ur passport validity, they rather return ur passport for you to go renew it before issuing ur visa.
And cic will never deny someone with excuse of 'purpose of visit' for such.
And lastly I don't think NIS would renew a passport that still have up to 9 months on it.

My guy I wasn't talking about permit... I said VISA... If u travelling out of naija to canny for whatsoever ish u must have ur passport stamped with trv on it.... If u goin for 4yr degree course cic wud stamp ur passport with trv having 4yr validity... Now tell me how this wud b possible for someone having passport not up to dat date... My cousin's app on June was refused on d ground of purpose of visit with all his gud sop, family ties and well packaged docs... With all dis factors there is high likelihood that he was refused on d ground of purpose of visit cos his passport wud expire April 2015 and he's going for UG prog

In a Ltd coy d notice of such resolution must b signed by majority of d members but in Plc coy ¾ of d members must vote in favour of dat resolution to make it valid.... Going by CAMA 1990 I don't think a coy can by mere authorization of atleast 2 directors even d CEO sef! do sumtin dats not in deir object clause

Another way of using d coy's corporate acct as proof is by passing of special resolution at d coy's meeting which ¾ of d members hv to vote in favour of that

Despite the fact that the company is a seperate entity and has shareholders, if the affidavit/sponsorship letter is signed by @ least 2 of the shareholders and their names duly written on the CAC 2 and CAC 7 (with a regular signature)....its automatically assumed that the applicant can have access to the funds, though to be on the safest side, its good to have a very heavy cash flow and balance as well indicating that the company is a going concern.

In addition, if the applicant is the son of the CEO, he has a very big chance of scaling thru with the company SOA (similar cases have been reported here on NL).

And finally, if the applicant is one of the directors....okwu agwugonu (talk don finish naa)....

Anything outside these 3 cases or being an employee of the company...the chances of scaling thru might be very low...

Unless they have such clause in deir MOA(memo of asso)... d coy can only sponsor any of deir staff or officials with deir SOA on official duty..it will not be ultra vires If dey use deir SOA 2 sponsor in form of scholarship sha oo

degreat11: Never ever use a company with limited liability as a SOA when u are not working there, as the name imply the money is not meant for anyone, the company is a separate entity and have shareholders. even with 10billion the VO will still denied you Visa. what you can do is to use ur Sponsor personal account as SOA

You are absolutely right... Even if ur Sponsor held d coy's majority shares... That veil of incorporation cannot be lifted for a case like this

modskiller: They may be cool, I have a friend in Saskatchewan, and One in British Colombia. Their fees are not pocket friendly for peeps who are not excessively financially buoyant. Even the friend in British Colombia always complain that the place ain't so lively. But I don't know much about Brandon though, but from all I've read Brandon seems to be okay and less costly even in terms of living cost.

Do u know maybe deir provincial govt hs strict law as regards immigration which cud make it hard for one to get study permit to go sch in dat province?
