pchax: Thanks a lot sir! Please, from your experience, how long does it take on the average? Thanks!
...Visa application is case by case basis... some take less than 2months... some longer... I can't realy give an average... it depends on how u package ur application.... How much verificationt they need to do and how fast they get back to them.... and it depends on how quick u get what they request done....

zeongeon: College of the North Atlantic replied me sometime last month telling me that from my results and documents I meet up with the programme requirements and even went ahead to iSsue me an admission number and also encouraged me to start researching on Newfoundland and labrador and also the part of town where my campus is located.

They also said they will reach back to me when they are able to offer acceptance letter and since then till now no acceptance letter I have mailed them and yet to response from them..

Is it normal, is that how admission proceSs goes and I don't get d "when we are able to give u acceptance letter"

I'm a registered nurse currently doing my midwifery bt I ll graduate in march and I wuld really love 2 live and work in canada. I ve tried 2 bt I'm jst running around in circles I nid help.
... Look into schooling here first.. same field... cos believe me... most people that come in with their nursing certificate from naija end up going back to school... I even have an older sister in the same boat... so... look at schooling... Humber College/University of New Brunswick.... those are the best nursing school combo in Canada...

akanni: @Siga,Chrigo,Saxwale and other correct people over there with years of experience in Canny, in ur personal opinion, will you say a career in agriculture will pay bills in canny and leave extras? my line has been finance with agric background and i am presently in an agric unit in my place of work for naija.I am not thinking of a career switch at the moment, need to upgrade but i aint really a nerd, so,please indulge me and revert biko nu.
...All careers in Canada pays bill.... be it JANITOR.... it depends on how good u are and what level u plan taking it to.... Look at any certifications in your field that exist in Canada and acquire one or two.... Employers look for what u have to offer immediately... besides... Agriculture is a good field anywhere...

saxywale: True....but not everyone can combine the rigorous nature of academics with Job. Don't make it sound so easy. I have been through that route as well. m sure you sabi book well well grin

If my family member wants to do same, I would normally go against it but just like you said...it depends on individual situations.

saxywale: In fact, if possible... I would advise that he stays off job during school terms. Academics in Canada is not beans. Their citizens dey study wella and not push over in academics. it's best to focus in class and come out with good grades. I believe jobs should be left for school holidays.
.... Bros... when u have enough money in the bank to sustain u or better still ....money dey enter from Naija wella... u can say that.... When I was in school.... I worked my behind off... leave work 7am in the morning from working overnight ...then run enter class ... The day I left naija... No one send me kobo... I was told... U are on ur own... with thousands of tuition left to pay... But all Praises to God... Came out excellent in school and landed my job a month after school... So, it depends on individual situation bro... not all man be chop money ooo

kcluv2men: Bro,how much can you make on a minimal level every month if you had a factory job?
.... Bro... u can't work more than 20hrs during school but during breaks u can work full time... so, it depends on what rate u get from the job and how many hours u put in....
