lucky Don: Hi guys,does any one know if its possible to get a direct flight from lagos to toronto(one way ticket)...a cheap one..how much can it cost?

Don Cipher: @Siga, still awaiting med call with Jan 7 Start date; i paid one year tuition b4 submitting. I'm thinking of sending UNB an email after the christmas break; should i just inform them about embassy delays & nothing more until i hear from CDHC?

omosanyaolak: On monday my application will be 20 weeks old at the canadian embassy. I will have to write them on monday to return my documents to me. The waiting is a complete rubbish, 5 solid months to process a visa? I cant just believe it. Everything stood still for the past few weeks. Got some chances but couldnt take them because all my documents are with the embassy. It is a shame!

I would like some information on switching study programs at Canadian universities.

I have a masters in general business, but did a biochemistry bachelors degree (Bsc), for my undergrad years. i want to move on to Canada for either a specialist masters ( lets say property investments or marketing) or a Phd in marketing, but was advised to go for a masters in biochemistry because the visa officers may reject my application for not been similar to my undergrad degree. Is this reasoning right? Does the course choice affect the visa officers decsion? Does it have to be similar to the undergrad Bsc degree.

Also for those already in Canada? Can one easy switch courses after landing in Canada? For example I apply for a masters in biochemistry, pause my studies and change to a masters or Phd in business management.

Your thoughts and recommendations are highly appreciated

Abeg go to you Secondary School and tell them you need your academic records (Transcript) explain to them what u wanna use it for. They wld compile your result from their master sheet...
