lucky Don: @newacca and siga(senior men)lol....plsease whats the average processing time of application especially May intakes?i heard that it doesnt take much time because applicants are usually few unlike fall intakes.please help me figure out like when i may be called for medicals so that i can know how to excuse myself from my duty post.my application is a month old and if i track it,it tells me processing at the embassy.looking forward for ur brilliant answers?
....based on current trend....it takes up to 6months....but like u know.....May intakes are few which means less visa applications which gives more time to process applications faster....so, u should be good since u already have it in there with them....

Guys....if there are any of u heading to below listed schools....please u can link up to share apartments....this will help in reducing ur cost of living big timer.....nothing wrong in 4 or 5 of u sharing a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment...at least for the first yr so settle wella,....a 2 bedroom can go between $900 and $1000....depending on size and utilities...with this...u guys can share and end up paying $300 or less a month on housing...then u guys can focus on how una go share grocery bills and different bills...at the end...u will be surprised with $500...u get a roof over ur head and u can eat unlimited....and if guys match up wella....I promise to chip in from time to time to buy one or two items on ur grocery list....thats if and only u guys come together....

Waleabimbola: Hello am a Nigerian but I have work permit of south Africa till 2017.i will like to visit Canada in the last week of February, but Canada embassy does not process visa within a month.i want to know if I can use my Nigeria bank account to apply in south Africa because they can process my visa within 8days.is it possible to use Nigeria bank account to apply for visa in south Africa?
I have visited uk, France,Germany Swaziland UAE before but have always applied from Nigeria.thanks for your anticipated response
....there is where on the requirement that states ur financial standings should have a location or base.....u are fine...the fact that u have a valid work permit is more than enough....all u need is ur SA docs with a letter from ur work, stating how long u have been working with them, how much u make and what u do for them....then indicate ur job will be waiting for u after ur vacation....then u can put ur Nigerian bank statements there as well....u are fine bro....

Family › Sperm Donor Fights Paying Child Support To Lesbian Couple by Siga(op): 9:14pm On Jan 04, 2013
TOPEKA, KAN. A sperm donor in the U.S. is fighting an effort to force him to pay child support for a child conceived through artificial insemination by a lesbian couple.

William Marotta told The Topeka Capital-Journal newspaper he’s “a little scared about where this is going to go, primarily for financial reasons.”

When the 46-year-old donated sperm to Angela Bauer and Jennifer Schreiner in 2009, Marotta relinquished all parental rights, including financial responsibility to the child. When Bauer and Schreiner filed for state assistance in Kansas this year, the state demanded the donor’s name so it could collect child support for the now 3-year-old girl.

The state contends the agreement between Marotta and the women is not valid because Kansas law requires a licensed physician to perform artificial insemination.

“If a sperm donor makes his contribution through a licensed physician and a child is conceived, the donor is held harmless under state statue. In cases where the parties do not go through a physician or a clinic, there remains the question of who actually is the father of a child or children,” Angela de Rocha, a spokeswoman for the Kansas Department for Children and Families, said in a statement.

A hearing on a motion by Marotta’s attorneys to dismiss the case is scheduled for Jan. 8

Bauer and Schreiner have said they fully support Marotta’s efforts to fight the state’s request. When Bauer was diagnosed in March with what she calls “a significant illness” that prevents her from working, Schreiner sought health insurance for their daughter from the state. The DCF told Schreiner if she didn’t provide the sperm donor’s name, it would deny any health benefits because she was withholding information.

Marotta said Monday he doesn’t resent Schreiner for giving the state his name.

“I resent the fact that Jennifer was pressured into doing that in the first place,” he said. “That was wrong — wrong by the state.”

Marotta and his wife, Kimberly, have no biological children but care for foster children.

Idomaboi: i have actually registered for classes online..
...then no wahala.....just once u land....get close with ur classmates ...they will let u know which assignments u missed and ask when its due...if past due...go talk to ur Prof....with ur visa....so, u can show them u just landed

Idomaboi: oga Siga does it depend on the school to let you resume after two weeks or general in canada?cos i hope to get trv monday and class start tuesday
....u can register for classes before the first test....the prob is getting a spot as classes fill up fast....most schools have two classes...like mornings and evenings...the morning classes fill up fast so, u might have to go for evening classes...also, there are high demand classes which may be difficult to secure a spot...some electives might be low demand and u can still book a spot....u might have missed few assignments, but u can meet with ur Professor and he or she will most def allow u submit the past assignments...since ur late arrival is not ur fault....

kenniy: Hello @Siga, abeg bros..could u please with ur opinion on this?? I for don email or PM u, but I kinda prefer have it out in the open..could be useful..thanks..
.....even though classes starts next week.....one can still join within 2weeks....but, based on CDHC history.....I will put my money down that they wont issue ur TRV until February earliest....and at which point they will ask you to arrange a new resumption date....so...the main question is....ur grant....wen is the deadline on it...as in, when do u have to use it before loosing it....thats wat u should focus more on....free money no dey come everyday....if u can advise the grant people of the delay and they are willing to giv u till Fall....then I will say, defer ur admission till Fall and wait for CDHC to advise otherwise after medicals....but if ur Grant people cant wait....bros, I go advise u withdraw and face UK if u have a valid admission there....
