Another thing came to mind....I will advise guys to go learn how to cut hair and ladies to learn to do hair small....money dey there as well....guys for campus pay up to $10 to cut simple hair...and ladies dey spend up to $80 for simple hair style....ladies if u sabi do hair, u fit dey order ur hair from China or even Naija and make a good cash....guys, if u sabi handle clipper wella....$10 per head goes a long way ooo....

Rapuziaokwu: Bros Siga I am heading to Uni Sask and am still young by my own evaluation cos I will be 25 by January. If going out of campus will violate the laws, I will stick wit the school club then. Big bros Siga, I must confess that I admire your humility and selflessness. Ur kind is rare and I pray God to reward u as u continue the gud works u are doing in this thread
....no wahala....if u sabi dance wella...talk to ur Sports coordinator....join ur school team and dance wella....listen to ur coach and tell him u wont mind going for trials....trials no dey pay anything....u can secure grants inside school sef....no wahala....but that area wey u dey go....the place cold small ooo....ur balls might freeze up abit...lol

earthgreeners: nice one bro....i like as u raise dis topic make guys no go end up like those Nigerian students of University of Regina

Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Siga: 8:36pm On Dec 09, 2012
earthgreeners: Play safe....... money fit land man into trouble.... know the rules before u go into it.... I would rather stick with my School team...remember, u cannot work off campus until after six months....u are only qualified for off campus work permit if you maintain good grades.......some students schooling in certain schools are not eligible for off campus work permit
...U talk well....not all schools are qualified....I think guys need to start checking that out as well....cos, that can limit chances....what y'all think?
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Siga: 8:28pm On Dec 09, 2012
earthgreeners: Dont u think that would violate the off campus work rules. its always better to play safe...Play for ur college or university team ...face ur studies...........There is no way u can cope with the 2 and achieve excellent results....remember "heseinbergs law of uncertainty"
....Summer time is mostly the only time there are outdoor soccer.....winter na indoor....guys that play for all these recreational teams are paid cash by whoever u play for....thats the fact....if u sabi play wella...boys go come pick u up....http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/work-offcampus-who.asp if a team notice him and he gets drafted by MLS....that one na another level...the team will do all the paperwork for him.....

Guys...FYI, for all....please ensure you go to your student/International office and ask if there is any BURSARY for International Students....I got a good tuition rebate when I was at Humber College....please dont miss out...in my own case...I never knew, but it was applied to my tuition and was a huge break for me....ask ask ask....the worst they will say is NO....
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Siga: 8:12pm On Dec 09, 2012
earthgreeners: Bros u can only play football for fun, dnt waste ur time running after football teams...you can join your college or University football team....e.g The Huskies of usask, the Bisons of umanitoba etc
...I dont think the guy will forget school....I am sure he is only looking for ways to make extra coins....he can play and make few bucks....also, he can coach kids during summer to make money, or do the referee training, test and interviews...if hin pass, he can do that to make money as well....I know guys that do this...though the money might be small, its something....he can also play for hin school like u said and be noticed for draft into MLS....dont forget some schools might have grants and scholarships....all these na if my guy is still young ooo....lol grin
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by Siga: 7:59pm On Dec 09, 2012
Rapuziaokwu: @Siga hope I can get a football club I can join there, cos I am also a footballer or don't they allow students to join football clubs?
...Are u coming to Toronto? If so, I can introduce u to the Nigerian team Captain here....most nations have teams here and there are competitions....also, they maybe able to find a way to get you in for trials if u are still young....but all Mr Siga can do is point u to the right people...the rest na u go make the moves ooo....

ronakoks: I think any university as long as its a public institution it very good. What you should be mainly concerned about is wether you meet the requiremet for admission because admission requirement for canadian universities are very high... you usually will need a strong 2.1 (thats if you are goin for masters). Me... i have decided to apply to colleges for graduate diploma/cerificate or fasttrack programme.

@ siga/house, please is it ok to apply for study permit with admission offer to do graduate certificate or fast track programm such as the ones offered by Durham college considering i have a Bachelors degree already. I'm asking cos the normal course of progression would be Bsc => Msc,( cos US embassy for example prefere to see this kinda progression. I dont kno much about CDHC). Anyone studing at any of the colleges please advise me cos i want to submit some aplications to a number of colleges.
....bro...there is absolutely no harm applying to college as a BSc holder...just make sure there is a link to ur first degree ...make sure its a public college as well....

acetee: Please house can you recommend any school for me in Alberta for Post-Graduate diploma with low tuition fee or any school with low tuition fee in Canada? Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.....Colleges no cheap bro....even private ones...if u find any cheaper than the rest, be care...might not be recognised and ur chances of securing a visa is not good....why not go for a recognised and solid college...when u get here, u can change to any college of ur choice....Advise...always do everything solid to secure u a VISA....dont deny urself even before u apply for visa...

mercylicious: @Siga,
I heard a child born in Canada by parents dt are in canada on visit, trv and study visa shall nt be a Canadian citizen. Dt its only babies born to permanent residents that will be Canadian citizens. I heard this last year. Plz confirm and inform us.
...for now the child would still be a citizen....there was some serious debate about it early this year, not sure if its agreed to change it or not....also, if a Canadian citizen givens birth outside Canada, the child is also given citizenship.....never knew this until it happened to a friend....his wife was still in Nigeria and while processing are migration to Canada, she gave birth to their daughter....the baby was given citizenship based on her father's status ....see below link

ronakoks: I'm already doin a lotta research lookin up schools. I've found at least one program I'm interested in. Its. Graduate diploma in Clinical Reseach at Humber college. I'm using Ontariocollege.ca portal to search for schools and programs. I'm sure I can easily apply and get admission for myself. My main headace would be the study permit application. Here's my profile

Higstet qualification: Bsc second class lower microbiology, graduated in 2008.

Age: 25yrs

Employement status: under-employed cos my salary is just about 60k and no payslip..

Sponsor: my sister's husband cos my parents are retired
.....There shouldnt be a prob....ur sponsor can be anybody, so far u package it well and state the relationship u share with ur sponsor....it should be fine....u can claim they helped u out during ur schooling...and plan to help this time...in all, if God says u go enter Canada....nothing can stop u...

Please I'm considering applyi g for fall 2013. What are my chances of getting TVr considering I finished my BSc in 2008. Dooes this gap in education afffects application for study permit? I want to go for graduate diploma since my 2.2 can't get me masters admissions. It seems that's wat a lot of pple are goin for arround here because it is veriy practical Oriented and PRovides d requisite skills one needs to enter the Canadian job marked. Will this gap in education affect my application in anyway?
...the gap is no problem....are u working right now? .....if yes, thats ok....if no, its ok...u can still apply, but state the reason for not working.....

For heaven sake i run a registered company deleted with our activities covering the entire electronic service, social net working e.g deleted which i my company is proud to present as our contributions and developments in i.c.t to mention but a few. A company that has gone so far in the I.C.T world and you call me a scam. You sound like a policeman abusing human rights because of the power bestowed on him. MAKE CONFIRMATIONS BEFORE YOU CONCLUDE

shevy90: Hello house...pls my fiancee just got admission from centennial. Also discovered she's a few weeks pregnant and we should be gettin married by nxt yr Jan. But my concern is...is the pregnancy a thing to worry about as per her gettin a TRV to canada for her studies or does dt mean we have already gotten a denial even before submitting an application to CDHC? ***Pls guys...I need responses from the experienced ones here who av been thru the whole process from submission to medicals n all*** Thanks in anticipation of the responses
...My bro...I will advise you differ this admission and wait until after the marriage and delivery....this will solidify her ties to naija....also, if she is sent for medicals and of cos, they will discover she is like 6 or 7months pregnant....they might deny her application...cos she might be tagged not a credible student, thinking she is only heading there to have her baby...so, no need to rush, wait till next yr and probably she can apply for another admission later next yr....
