If your phones runs on android 10 and above then your phone should have the new file manager.. I think you can download it on playstore nw ... Just open the file manager and move the pictures and vids to safe folder ..



Another trick i do is I trash them in the bin folder . It's going to take , 30days before it permanently trashes the file. So I just restoring and retrashing..
