We used to read Nairaland together and giggle at people's comment while in each other's arms. I loved her more than I can explain, next thing I know someone has come for introductions and she was planning her wedding. I tried all I could to make her see why she shouldnt do that to us, I wanted her to be my wife, we had plans, I had inroduced her to my family...but before I could say Jack, she was gone and she shattered my world. I cried for months, I couldnt sleep nor eat properly, I lost so much weight. She would probably read this because we couldnt go through a day without visiting front page more than 10x for fresh, interesing topics, I am sure she kept up with that culture.
Now tell me why I would want to remain friends with someone who caused me so much pain?

I will be very HONEST to you, Break ups are ONLY pleasant when you are still young, naive and with less pressure.

Believe me, for both Men and Women Break-Ups are no longer funny or something to just conclude from age 28years and above.

Sitting here under my chilling A/C while scrolling between tv stations with my take away Fries, Chicken and chilled Bottle of Pepsi and guess what? My advice to the youths even though i know they won't listen: Look for True love while you are still young and struggling because the older and richer you get all that will come your way are opportunist and marriages of convinience or benefits.

Don't worry, if you don't understand what i wrote above, you will in some years from now.

I used to fancy office/corporate jobs because of the respect accorded to those that work there, because of how well and neatly dressed they always are...Thus the reason I was doing nothing but job hunting the first two years after NYSC.

When it wasnt working out, I tried my hands in buying and selling of clothes and I realized I loved the feeling of counting money on a daily, and not having to be confined to a particular space called office, I could move about with my business whenever and wherever I wanted...

I thought long and deep about the deplorable state Nigeria is in, how so many people are unemployed and how majority of the few that are employed are over-used and under-payed, I figured I could make more money in a week than the average banker makes in a month, then my mind was made up --- business it is!

My dream and ultimate goal in life has been owning a livestock farm and that dream is in the pipeline, and it is going to be facilitated by the business I am currently into.

My advice to you is quit polishing your CV, polish your thoughts, think less of working for someone and more of working for your self...improve your self, make yourself a need in your environ, learn a trade, learn a skill, start a business and God shall bless the works of your hand.

Your situation is one I can relate with, I was also at home for 2 years after NYSC and couldnt get any meaningful job, then I had to start thinking about other forms of making money and so many business ideas started coming in.

You mustnt work in an office to earn money, look to start dealing in something you are comfortable with.

I started with buying and selling of clothes to poultry farming and it was all worth it...think outside the box, because the more time goes, it becomes more difficult to venture into somethings because of age and what people might say.

Think outside your box and comfort zone.

So long as it's not a forced shutdown(holding down the power button) then it doesn't matter, but nevertheless hibernating is better for your hard drive in the long run than shutting down all the time.

Take note, hibernating your system more than a couple of hours damages the battery, I heard and didnt believe, I had to learn the hard way.
It is better to shut down once you are done with you Laptop.
