willbeck: Hello please don’t confuse people here now .IRCC accepts both . People have sent post or related messages regarding both of them . I know of someone that used General and was approved . Even Canadian high commission in Nigeria recommends general ( see attached email response from them ) but they still accepts academics too So they accept both of them . Let people write which one they feel and I will urge people to write general cause it seems easier and will be good for immigration purposes later in the future Have a great day ahead 4 Likes

Thanks for this . I was able to submit my applications for the NSE stream yesterday after almost a week waiting for union bank to forward my Ticket No and Passoword For the record I use IELTS General.I have someone going to my school who did same in his initial application and was only asked to submit one year bank statements So I guess you can use any of the test. I also dogged into a 2018 response from IRCC that confirms same All the best to everybody here ========================================= I collated this to track the current trend as concerns SP processing. fareemah: Good evening sir or madam, I understand ur situation and let me just offer my little advice I also have ACA too. I also enter the EE pool but didn’t meet the cut off point but your point is better than mine. Don’t verify your ACA with WES o, they wouldn’t give you two or more certificates as equivalent .verify your master alone and I think that’s the highest you can get for you education except you have a PHD What I will advice is that you rewrite ur IELTS to get enough point but if you think after scoring the highest mark you won’t still meet up with the cut off mark. You can try writing exams in French to boost your score. For funded Masters ( not science based ) . Maybe in Economics but in Accounting or Finance , it’s very rare and you will need to write GMAT or GRE What you can do is to be looking at masters in accounting or finance or economics that can waive GMAT in lieu of work experience. You can also try the MBA at UNB. Going forward after you must have successfully secured ur admission, try to look for easy pathway to earn CPA Canada or CFA depending on your area of interest Stay blessed 4 Likes |
