Interesting ..wishing a successful pig farming experience. I'll be looking out for your updates. Well done 👍🏾 safarifarms: When the new piglet was introduced, the 1st piglet started following and sniffing the new one, soon it started attacking the new one. The attacks were mild initially like mild biting of the ear but it soon spiraled to a serious fight. Now I have to separate them, but I'd only gotten one pen ready. I temporarily moved the old one to an uncompleted pen where its on bare floor. My mentor says its not good and suggested I partition the pen for them. So I had to quickly get a carpenter to partition the pen. Extra unplanned expenses.
The partition was completed around 7pm and I moved the piglets back to the pens. One on each side and waited to see what will happen. I had fresh food and water in the throughs, but instead of eating, both piglets were focused on trying to cross to the other ones side. Later the new piglet found a space that was wide enough to fit its head and tried to use that to cross over but couldn't pass. The old one bit it's ear and it screamed and struggled to get out but was stuck. I had to rush in in attempt to rescue it but it was able to free itself just as I got into the pen. Yet its still busy trying to cross over. Both piglets won't eat or drink water. The old one will go to the feed a bit and soon leave to come back to the divider. When I'd felt that at least they can't cross over I left to bath. Still concerned that they didn't eat or drink water that evening and especially for the new one that hadn't eaten or drank since it came. Now I'd taken the light away and concerned that there's no hope of them eating that evening.
By 3am I went to check on them and found them chilling together side by side in one pen. 😳 Can't find where the new one crossed over to the other side. No more fighting. The old one still tries to bully the new one a bit but that one just ignores it and it doesn't seem bothered at all. Looks like the new one really likes company. This morning I cleaned out the old food and put new one and they rushed it together The new one even seemed more aggressive in the feeding often pushing the old one. The new one seems to also be slightly more bigger.
Each time I go back there they are resting side by side. Can you imagine? I'm actually happy that they can now stay together even though I'm pained for the unnecessary expenditure. |

Going through your thread, I see that your wife is the problem. According to you in one of your posts, you said your wife has taken your daughter as her enemy. She also called your daughter a bastard in another thread of yours.
Your daughter is not feeling loved at home, hence her rebellious behaviour, remember she's also a teenager.
You need to take authority as the man of the house and set things straight. Most importantly, reaffirm your love to your daughter, give her your time, and let her know you will always be there for her.
As for your wife, the worm that eats the leafy vegetables, lives in the vegetable. |

A lot of men go through domestic violence, starting from childhood as boys to their adult lives, but the whole anti-violence campaign is for the women only.
This is very biased and unfair, which is why a lot of women have leverage on that privilege and lie against men for rape, domestic violence crimes etc.
The men folk need to start a campaign that speaks against the injustices they go through in the society. If there's such cause out there, I'll gladly join and support our sons, brothers and husbands.
I stand for humanity. |

Hmmm...my father! Where will I start? Every birthday and father's day, I tear up wishing my dad were alive for him to be massively celebrated.
My dad was and still is, my super hero and my first love. He sacrificed a lot for us while growing up. My dad would go hungry just for my mother and siblings to eat. Everyday, he's out on the streets hustling. I remember the day he had an accident in Apapa and had his leg crushed by a trailer, still this did not deter him for fending for us, because even on his hospital bed at LUTH he was still trying to pull strings to get his family sustained.
My father, the one sure plug that held my family together. Very intelligent, humble, eloquent, a lover of God and equally hilarious. He was a walking encyclopaedia. He had great taste in music too. I learnt a lot from my dad.
I miss and LOVE you daddy now and always. If I have the chance to spend 1 hour with a loved one from my past, it'd definitely be you dad.
I celebrate all boy, man and father out there. |

Please how can I get a dog to adopt? I know this service is not common in Nigeria, but if anyone has information I'd appreciate. I love dogs and would love to get one for my kids. I don't really have a large space so I'd prefer the smaller breeds. PS - I reside in Abuja. Thanks |

Isomerizm: Inasmuch as I wouldn't have wanted Cersie to die a gruesome death (this is sentiment talking. I love the character), they could have made her die a gruesome and interesting death anyways. Like Bran warging into her, making her call off her own attack, and thereafter, masturbating to death. Or making her ride the mountain for several hours, until she dies. |

Op is not even a doctor..did anyone read this post from his 2013 diary?
I was born and bred in my village, somewhere in the South-Eastern Nigeria. I lost my dad when I was 8yrs, so was raised by my poor single mother. I attended primary & secondary schools in my villa, so I m a typical example of what you can call a village boy. Fortunately or unfortunately, the state University is in my village, so I got admission to study Igbo language and linguistics. Very soon I ll be going for youth service, and I hope to serve in my village cos I m feeling somehow to leave the only place I ve known for the 21yrs of my life. But as a small boy, my dream has always been to tour the world. So I study the world map alot, read about the histories of countries, read geography textbooks, read books about international travelling, read the stories of Nairalanders who have toured the world. I always use my goggle map to "visit" popular airports all over the world, airports like JFK & Heartrow thrill me the most. These things has made me very good in general knowledge, making me want to go for Who Wants to be a Millionaire, a programme which I once watched in a barber's shop, hoping to win up to #1mil to pursue my travelling dreams. My friends think such dream can never come through, but pls I want fellow Nairalanders to tell me their own view. Thanks
https://www.nairaland.com/1474208/travelling-hobby-ve-not-crossed |
