You've only just confirmed it that Carrasco did the touching and not Semedo, since no man born of a woman can keep his feet on the ground while running, Carrasco inclusive, his feet kept moving up while in motion, his left foot moved up and hit semedo on the knee,he trips and falls because of his misplaced right foot,but Semedo ends up being punished, someone that was moving down to his right side so as not to make the tackle from behind.

Do u think Carrasco would have fallen if his right foot wasn't placed across his body?

Was he meant to stand and watch cara take a shot, or he was meant to start shouting "clear road oo,make una clear road, ma carrasco dey come",so that he and his team mate won't interfere with carrasco's play in other to prevent him from tripping.

Of course he was going to make a tackle nw,but did he?No.Semedo simply didn't want to make that tackle from behind so he was running down to carrasco right side, carrasco on the other hand was trying to turn slightly so he can comfortably use his left leg, it was as if they were interchanging sides, carrasco's misplaced right foot caused all this but semedo was blamed for trying to carry his defensive duties.

And carrasco was on the extreme left,he wasn't face to face with the goal keeper,there were still other players in front of him so he wasn't clear on goal.

Tackle or not, Carassco was on his way to score and he was tripped even though it was an accident

So semedo should have kept his distance so as not to make that light contact that will trip carrasco.

I know football is a contact sport. I know it wasn't the intention of Semedo to tackle Carrasco. But since Semedo's inadvertent contact with Carrasco caused him to lose his balance, that act prevented Carrasco from being in a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper or squaring the ball to his teammate to score, then it will be a penalty.
Also, VAR would have looked it up and if it wasn't supposed to be a penalty, it would have been ruled out.

"Semedo's inadvertent contact" wasn't even the major cause, carrasco right foot was placed across his body causing him to fall as soon as his left leg touched it,watch the video very well,he was trying to turn and face the goal properly when "Semedo's inadvertent contact" happened before his right leg caused him to fall.

No tackle was made but a penalty was given, explain something to me bro.

If you watch the replay more closely, you will discover that Semedo's knee made contact with the trailing foot of Carrasco. This unsettled and made Carrasco trip himself. So in my opinion, that's a penalty.

Semedo was chasing carrasco and in the process, carrasco back foot slightly hit semedo's knee,semedo didn't even make a tackle and that is a penalty to u.

Is football not a contact sport.

Passtomessi will continue until we have a coach with an understanding of the basics of Tiki-taka. Tiki-taka is only possible with positional play. We cant continue to have Messi drop deep or drift to a central postion when off the ball, and expect not to have other players look out for him. We either revert to him playing as a false 9, flanked by 2 inverted Forwards or stations him permanently on the right wing. He has the skill sets to play either centrally or on the right. Every player must stay in thier positions while trusting oters to know what to do on and off the ball. Its simple!
