Valbuena had a sextape that somehow got in the hands of some dude who Benzema happens to know.
Benzema informed Valbuena of it and tried to play "middle man" but apparently it seemed like Benzema was working with the guy to blackmail him.
Benz got suspended, courts cleared him but he insulted Deschamps and said he was racist or something...so FFF said he'd never play for French National team again.

when u re big u re big, blacklisting a whole Madrid no 9 from the national team just like that, which year will Nigeria be as big as this.

People are taking his comments too seriously. I don't think he really meant what he said.
Anyways the way this guy has been treated is simply disgraceful. He made a mistake and apologized.

pls can u explain what happened between him and valbuena exactly, never heard the story, I just know he doesn't get France call up any longer

ROHR’S SUPER EAGLES POLICY RESPONSIBLE FOR OLYMPIC DISASTER?
opera.com

Friday marked the end of a terrible year for Nigerian football, as the under 23 national team drew 0-0 with South Africa, a result that saw them eliminated from the race to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

A disjointed performance by the Eagles saw them fail to create significant goalscoring chances of note. And on the rare occasions when they did, a combination of bad decisions in the final third, and their own profligacy combined to deny them even the slightest chance of a sniff of goal.

The worst of the lit came with time running down when Taiwo Awoniyi picked out substitute Sunday Faleye at the back stick with time and space only for him yo head wide with the goal and its keeper at his mercy.

While there was hope that this team would at least make it to the semifinal and give themselves a chance to get to Japan, the reality was that they never stood a chance.

Imama Amapakabo did not get the players he wanted for this tournament. Those he did get, were simply not good enough or not playing enough at their clubs. And it showed. Kelechi Nwakali, for all his talent, was a liability rather than an asset for one and a half games, clearly needing match time.

Same thing applied to Taiwo Awoniyi, whose lack of game time at Mainz 05 was plain to see. Most of the others huffed and puffed and failed too blow anything down. Of the team’s key components, only captain Azubuike Okechukwu looked decent enough to wear the green and white shirt.

It is a disappointing end for Nigeria, a country with some of the best under 23 players on the continenty. Infact, most of the entire Super Eagles squad is composed of players under the age of 23 who would have been real contenders at the Games.

From goalkeepers Francis Uzoho (21) and Maduka Okoye (20), defender Chidozie Awaziem (22), midfielder Wilfred Ndidi (22) and forwards Samuel Kalu (22), Samuel Chuwkueze (20) and Victor Osimhen (20).

Osimhen, Awaziem and Uzoho were particularly critical to the team’s qualifying run to the Afcon tournament when they did play. But, apart from Uzoho who is injured, and Okoye who was called up straight to the Super Eagles, the others would have made a world of difference to this team’s qualifying race.

Unfortunately, Rohr’s policy of calling up, and making young players the fulcrum of his Super Eagles squad in combination with CAF’s decision to schedule their qualifiers and tournament at the same time as the senior team, has hurt the Olympic Eagles. Fatally.

So the best under 23 players were not available to represent the country and try to qualify for the Olympic Games. Meaning they will also miss a chance to show their worth at that level.

Not that Rohr’s strategy is a bad one, mind. It helps build a Super Eagles team that will last for at least a decade.

The problem, the real problem, is with the conveyor belt that processes talent out of Nigeria.

And the proof is right in our faces. The Olympic Eagles loss follows swiftly on the back of failures by the other national teams across the board, all in the last few months of the year.
The domestic players lost out over two legs to Togo in the race to qualify for the African Nations Championship. By the slim margin of one goal. One goal.

This followed the same team getting beaten by both Togo and then Cape Verde in the WAFU Cup.

Paul Aigbigun’s under 20 team were unceremoniously dumped out in similar fashion, as did the under 17 team at the World Cup.

The the Super Falcons, who had dominated Africa for years, were also eliminated from Olympic qualifying by Cote d’Ivoire.

Oh, and as an aside, Amapakabo has now set the dubious record of being the first Nigerian coach to fail with three national teams in record time. His list of infamy includes the CHAN Eagles, WAFU Eagles and now U23 Eagles.
His future as an international coach does not exactly look bright.
At least, not right now.

Who wrote this trash,so Rohr is at fault, what if rohr had left those players to go to the under 23 and lost the game to Benin, this person wee still open his nonsense mouth and insult him for not calling our best players,if he calls players diff from the one he has been calling, they wee still cry that rohr doesn't know what he doing, for the past 3yrs he is still rebuilding, he doesn't know his starting 11,some people need slap

Max fm is not a strictly sport station like Brila fm. But their sports programme have a good followership due to the pair of Sean Amadi and Murphy Ijemba.
Murphy and Sean were the best in Brila fm Lagos but left after having issues with Larry, the owner of Brila fm. So most of their fans followed them to max fm.

Sean Amadi and Murphy Ijemba are blood brothers now, when they both left Brila,Saen Amadi wanted to quit that OAP job,Murphy told him he will quit too if Sean quits.

If u watch max FM advert on tvc,you will see dem making mouth about how they are 1 of the most listened to radio station in Nigeria, for my mind I go just be like, let Sean and Murphy leave that station first

What a show of shame. It is so so sad and disgraceful.

We had looked away from the NTA for so long only for us to realize yesterday that the station had deteriorated to this state.

Even look at the studios and the analysts there. Even the least person on this thread understands football more than both of them put together. angry

The commentors were such a joke. Don't they watch commentaries on foreign stations? And don't think it is only NTA o same goes for AIT. A bunch of people who parade themselves as sports journalists yet know nothing about sports. There is something fundamentally wrong with this country. Mediocrity every where!

If it is under a sane clime the minister of communication could have dished our quarries by this morning

Well, let me not be forced to call Nigeria a useless country angry

Honestly, i envy the Europeans a lot, everything seems to be going well with football over there.Even the stadium doesn't inspire confidence,i hate stadiums that has that track stuff.Organization sef is very poor, look at way people were loitering around during the match.

But they later hooked up with the NTA telecast and funny enough, the AIT that hooked NTA was showing a faster motion ahead of the same match being shown by the NTA PORTHACOURT on NIGCOMSAT ooo with even a clearer voice note.

It was very very funny to be honest with you in truth

Sorry too to Simiife

Thanks bro
