Blueelf: Bros, I have talked about this topic severally.
Naija born players are hardly ambitious. Seems like they don't want to be the best in their teams/leagues. Its money, money, money. They forget that once you're too good, na money go dey pursue you. Its the rule of nature They are always using their family as excuse, I still don't like musa's move to Saudi till tomorrow, I feel he shouldn't have allowed them sell him to Saudi,he shud be able to play for a decent team in Portugal, France, Netherlands, Belgium or better still, go back to CSKA Moscow. well what do I know, its their life |

andrewbaba44: Me i even see no reason why he cant start there as a winger, as if there are better wingers there
I know slimani and ben yedder is better than him, but i think he should be starting as a winger in their 4-4-2 formation or getting a 2nd half appearance as you have just said Honestly, that isn't as good as they use to be,they are trying to rebuild, a lot of us didn't approve his move there in the first place, why? They said Monaco are not a good team presently, but we need to understand that onyekuru is not bigger than Monaco, no matter what, Monaco remains a big club, they just need to get things right. They sold almost all their best players at once.If Monaco gets their mojo back and onyekuru happens to be a major part of their resurgence, we would all be happy |

Blueelf: Very...
Looking for his comfort zone. Players like him may even and up flopping at gala He shouldn't expect things to be rosy all the time. I think its 1 thing with Nigerian players, there are not ambitious, it is present crop of players we have that still trying, maybe because of the way has handled the team, players being called on merit. They seem to be after money alone, that y u will hear that batshuayi and 1 other Nigerian where destroying teams in Belgium, that same batshuayi plays for Chelsea today, but his partner in crime is no where to be found.I don't know his name sef,but I know batshuayi,na for this thread I take know sey 1 naija boy follow batshuayi run market for Belgium. If a player wants to earn a lot,he should improve, it is not until u go to 1 league I don't understand because u want money.if u are good u will earn good money, look at mbape ,if haaland eventually leaves Salzburg, will the club he is going to pay him peanut? the answer is no. |

haba Honestly,he is the cause of his own predicament, he never wanted to move to Monaco, even though Monaco have not been fantastic, there are still standout players in the team,i see no reason why he can't be at least a second half sub in this current Monaco team, no wonder Rohr doesn't rate him, even turned down an offer from celta de vigo, well I hope he gets back to his best in gala,I just want to see Nigerian players in bigger clubs. |

charlesemeka85: Henry Onyekuru will return to Turkish champions Galatasaray after his French team Monaco agreed a four million Euros loan deal for him, according to media reports.
The former Everton player, who played on loan at Galatasaray last season, joined Monaco in the summer but he is yet to hit it big at the French Ligue 1 club.
Onyekuru will earn 1.5 million Euros, while Monaco will earn 2.5 million Euros for this deal.
He scored 16 goals last season for Galatasaray to do the double – league and cup triumphs.
He joined Monaco from Everton for a fee of 15 million Euros in the summer. I think this guy is just lazy |

Eartquake1: John Fashanu questions Gernot Rohr’s technical abilities to lead Eagles to the next level
Former England player of Nigeria descent John Fashanu believes Gernot Rohr has not done enough to convince him that he’s the right man to lead Super Eagles to the next level.
Former England player of Nigeria descent John Fashanu believes Gernot Rohr has not done enough to convince him that he’s the right man to lead Super Eagles to the next level.
Rohr, 66, was employed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in August 2016 and since then, he has led the team to a Group Stage exit at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and a third-place finish at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
Fashanu, however, expressed his displeasure with the manner the German tactician has handled the team over the three years as the chief coach.
“I think Rohr has underachieved as the coach of Super Eagles.
What has he achieved, what has he won? That team is certainly not good enough to dominate African Football. We still have a lot of work to do to be the best in Africa. For now, we don’t have a team yet,”
“At the moment, this is one of the lowest time I have seen of the Super Eagles. I am sorry to say that, but I am not excited about the team now and I feel the coach is not doing enough with domestic players. Rohr should stay in Nigeria and develop our league players”
“lt amazes me anytime I hear Rohr saying that Nigerian league players are not good enough to play for Super Eagles. It is a shame that he could say that of a team that won the AFCON in 2013/with about nine home based players. A local boy [Sunday] Mba even scored the lone goal that won us the cup.”
The former Bordeaux coach whose contract with the NFF will run out in June 2020 has begun the Super Eagles’ 2021 AFCON qualifying campaign on a bright note with back to back victories over Benin and Lesotho.

mystical109: you are actually a fool for all you wrote. Ronaldo has never had a teammate that made it to top 3 (maybe Modric). But messi has had Eto, Xavi, iniesta, Neymar in d top 3.are u mad self. All d years Ronaldo played with Benzema, Benzema never scored 30 goals a season but since he left, d guy have been banging goals. Do u know Suarez has won golden boot at Barca? Do u know how many goals Neymar scored at barca?. When next you want to comment, research very well. Ronaldo is a jealous nd egocentric. What did he do to help Bale?. Did he ever allow Bale take a penalty or Freekick even when Bale was struggling . Even when Bale scores, to celebrate na wahala. Even when Modric won Ballon d'or d saddist didn't show face. Cr7 has never helped anyone cos he feels insecure. when did u start watching ball self, Dybala has been a beast even b4 2018 so I don't know what gave u d idea that he started playing well cos of Penaldo gbam, gbammer, gbammest. |

komekn: Clutching at straws and a version of events that comes entirely from the player.
A good post is a balanced one that takes into cognisance all the perspectives not just a singular one.
I personally know Michael Beale assistant manager and Gerard and l can assure you that version is VERY FAR from the truth.
There are multiple reports in the media from a duplicity of sources that detail his failings as a player at Rangers. The fans view of him included.
But you chose one by Sadiq himself, what did you expect him to say. That he was treated fairly and he failed. That's a very opinionated portrayal by the player.
I have spoken in depth about this a long time ago.
One very damning example of his failings is when he played against Motherwell U23 for Rangers U23. Played the first half and was ineffective got substituted in the second half. He was replaced by 17 year old Dapo Mebude, who came on and promptly scored a hat trick. Leaving more questions asked of Sadiq.
But the worst was when they played Aberdeen in the Cup his first start for the club, he was one on one with the goalkeeper and instead of shooting he dived. He was booked. It was shameful.
At this stage he had lost the fans and lost all respect. He became a comedic character for which all manners of jokes emanated from.
It's not a right that you must play. You earn the right to play by what you do in training and in the pitch when you play.
Sadly Sadiq did neither.
There is no comparison between Sadiq and Iorfa on any level whatsoever. im very proud of u,u av made me proud, I knew u would never disappoint me |

Koboko99: On Sadiq Umar's time at Rangers FC and his relationship with Steven Gerrard.
Speaking to The Sunday Post, he said: “All of a sudden, I was told that I could not use the first-team dressing-room any more. Instead I had to go change with the kids. Then, after a few days, I was also forbidden to park my car inside the training centre.
“I felt humiliated and kept asking what was the reason for the change of attitude. But I never received any answers. Gerrard wouldn’t give any explanation about it, neither to me nor my representatives.
“I believe absolutely that I was not given a fair chance to show what I can do. They made me feel like a stranger. I started only once (in the League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen) and that was when there were no other strikers available.
“As I say, for me everything went wrong after they brought in another striker (Lafferty). Once I put a ‘like’ on Instagram to a post from a fan – and I was fined £20,000, which was absurd.
“And Rangers didn’t even pay me up everything I was due. They still have to give me my salary for December.”
If we talk about a certain player at wolves, someone will tell us he was frozen out of the team because of Jorge Mendez involvement with the club but he's always too quick to pass a judgment on Sadiq Umar.
Sadiq was froze out of the team too without any explanation, not like he played 25 games without scoring.
If you can make excuses for someone because he didn't get to play then think twice before you pass such judgement on Sadiq. He will soon come with those his long grammar filled epistles about why both scenarios can't be compared |
