Lunsat: It is interesting to observe and compare Sopheamore1 on nairaland forum and on RDI forum. On Nairaland which is our own African site Sopheamore1 is known for typing in capitals, he copies the same message 3 times with different colors in the same message, He has been known to get into fights with other members. He rarely discusses real satellite isssues. Over there at the RDI forum which is a Romanian site, he types in small letters and doesnt repeat messages in one post. He doesnt get into fights with other members. His posts are useful and about satellite issues. What is the diference? Is it an attitude of lacking respect for your own people? Is it because he knows the white man over there doesnt tolerate nonsence? Confused regards.

obnelly: EUREKA!!! Eutelsat w36a/b 12130 h 27500 signal is live on my home made dish with 71% signal quality.I cant believe this.look at the dish pointing to the satellite.I was able to pull in astra 28(multi tv)58% and NSS7 22 w 67%.Next time I will try other satellites.If their is any addition or subtraction kindly drop it here,I really appreciate you guys .Together we can make the world go round,nobody is an island of knowledge we are here to learn and to share ideas.Viva Nairaland Africa.

Most of the times original software lacks some details that are incorporated in the later releases. Like SRT4930, it had no option to activate Cccam or Newcamd, it had no OTA menu (which is now included), had no option for Youtube, etc. So these updates come with new features which you 'might' find useful.

Brite02, to get to know the software version your machine is using, press the menu on your remote, enter ther password, select system information and it will reveal to you the software version (SW), Hardware version (HW), Boot Version and other infors.

Bugs1234: @emexi and d.lee, i dont blame the both of u, now we are now being regarded as being foolish to answer, questions that have been answered several times, no problem. U guys are now 2 proud because u know all these things, forgetting that u were once newbies and asked funny questions. If u know u are wicked and u dont like to help newbies, just ignore the post. 1st i noticed that newbies on this forum were being insulted badly if they asked questions, because of that newbies stop asking questions here, now even the oldies are not even safe because, some people that feel they have 2 brains or are above other humans are now messing with d heads of the oldies. I am surprised people can be so wicked. And i am surprised it was people like d.lee and emexi.

Hi Williams85 and Brite02 GRTS is live and kicking on AB 3 5.0W. Only that it has disguised itself as TV 1 - 4125 H. Try .4125 H 3571. Tried posting some pics but the system did not allow me

Brite02: bro, mine is red long time including optima sports, so i had to move to different location arabsat 20 East, since i haven't gone back, are you getting optima sports there?

Optima sport is green and alive on 5.0W at my end but GRTS has disappeared.

@all, what is happening to the Indian channels on Amos 5? Mine is gone RED leaving Reuters and MUVI TV African FEED 1 and 2 anyone experiencing the same or otherwise?

Thanks for the swift response. The white colour of fonts on the "REPLY" page has been change to black making it very very "READER FRIENDLY". OGA I salute.

This interface looks beautiful but it makes one feel I am a newbie. It took me some time to find my way. the old interface allows one to identify the country of a member during replies and I think it helped alot in making member understand contents their contributions. secondly the black font colour of members contribution was very visible as compared to the white font colour we see when replying to thread.the white font colour against the baground does not make it reader friendly

CABSAT 2012 – DUBAI. Al Jazeera has signed a new capacity contract with Eutelsat to expand its coverage over Africa.

The broadcaster is leasing capacity on the Eutelsat 7 West A satellite (formerly Atlantic Bird 7) located at 7 degrees West. It enables Al Jazeera to extend coverage across North West Africa to Morocco and as far as Nigeria.

Broadcasts have already begun, with nine channels operational, including the flagship Al Jazeera news channels in Arabic and English, as well as documentary, children’s and sports channels.

In service since October 2011, the Eutelsat 7 West A satellite has strengthened Eutelsat’s commercial response to broadcasters operating across the Middle East and North Africa. @ Obnelly good creativity, after I Hacked and Odilibe. Hope more of such simple innovation will help us tracked more birds. Try Atlantic bird 3 where there are more FTAs success on that will encourage football lovers to be able to track Optima Sports

Thanks. I Tracked it on the same TP but on the Horizontal Polarity about three days ago but no pictures only creaky sound. Followed it up today om the Vertical polarity but no sound no pictures. It has a higher reception (about 80%) on 4126 V 2169 but still no picture and sound. Is't same with you?
