What do you suggest they learn?

MrBrownJay1:
then some criminals will be quick to tell Nigerians that investing money in Forex/Crypto etc is a safe way to make money, and/or that they can learn and be successful in it. lol! majority of Nigerians shouldnt go into forex/crypto because, the minute the price of these stocks/crypto is crashing down, they will die of extreme high blood pressure.

Family / Re: Why Do We Ignore Poor Loved Ones To Die, Then Start Contributing For Burial? by Simonobodo(m): 2:49pm On Jun 06, 2023
Skyview01:
I have adult relatives who are willfully poor and have refused to take up a job or learn a skill.
I sent some to the universities and after graduation have refused to work but want me to place them on monthly salaries.

I even got a job in a multinational company for one and he left the job without letting me know.

Do i fucking look like an ATM machine?

There is nothing wrong in being poor if it is by indolent choice.

I will rather help friends or serious stranger than some useless relatives.

I think your narrative is delifferent from the real talk though made sense.

For long I have not been feeling any pain after treating it, though the bump is showing but recently I started feeling the pain mostly at NIGHT; I can't sleep at night due to the pain even after taking pain killer to no avail.... Please someone should recommend on what to do about it.

I don't think 6 months is enough for a novice to learn the intricacies of auto spare parts business with a view to starting the business

How long can it take for a novice to start selling

Dymaco:
my best advice for any one venturing into auto parts business if for you to go the shops of those into the business and learn at least six months.
there is nothing like consultant in this business.

the day one China man came to my father shop to buy spare part for their company car.... the China man even though he was an engineer was confused. we have to help him buy those goods.
auto parts is not an online business but a physical business

Is six months okay for a novice that wants to start selling engine spare parts?
Business / Re: Venturing Into Trailer Parts (mack) by Simonobodo(m): 12:08pm On Jan 21, 2023
dhope:

Irrespective of new or tokunbo, keep ur academic certificate for now, take like a year minimum to learn the business from illiterate who are into it even if possible draw close to truck mechanic for a while. Then you will know the items that sell fast and the secret about it. You can now start ur own based on available fund. Ur initiative as a graduate will give you an edge in this business over illiterate doing it

Thanks a lot for this

Food / Re: Tasty Good Old Days Akamu And Beans To The Rescue In These Hard Times Families by Simonobodo(m): 4:35pm On Sep 01, 2022
Channah1:
This style of beans is my dad's favorite. Whenever he takes over the kitchen to prepare beans, he must add tomatoes and the taste is always on another level. So this is my dad's recipe.

I washed and Parboiled the beans.
Then decanted the water and added fresh water to cook it.

I cooked the beans until it was Soft and done.

I sliced onions into it
Added crayfish
Little vegetable oil

Grated some fresh peppers and tomatoes and added to it. And finally added palm oil, stired and let it simmer for some mins. Brought it down.

I prepared pap and served with the beans topped with some spring onions.

This meal is cost effective yet rich and very nutritious.

No salt or maggi

[quote author=Jennyclay post=115856766]No, I can't marry someone who earns 100k per month. Why must you enter a marriage to suffer? Can 100k afford you a good house, buy your hair and makeups? Have you even thought of raising children who should be fed, clothed and sent to good schools? Can 100k work these things out? No!

Reject that poor man and his meagre 100k; a better man will locate you. All you have to do is believe and wait for the right man to come. [Keep waiting for the right man until menopause locate u... Ladies and money]

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Is A Nigerian Salary Earner Of 500k Per Month Considered Rich? by Simonobodo(m): 12:51pm On May 26, 2022
ObosiUkwalla:
So I was arguing with a friend who stays in the states and he keeps saying I am a rich guy.

Current salary is about 512k per month (take home), and has an annual increment of 15% of your take home. This is aside perks of perdiem anytime I travel outside work base (15k per night).

Anytime he wants me to have minor something done in NG on his bahalf, he expects me to use my money and whenever I ask, he tells me not to complain that I am rich (he knows what I earn), I don't have a problem doing those things for him.

I don't see myself rich and pls guys, what can someone earn in Nigeria to be termed rich. Your opinions will count alot as I still find it hard getting the usual daily stuffs we all use.
I am not married and do not have responsibilities. My mom is a retired govt worker and other siblings are all working.

Cc: seun mynd44 pls help us for more audience and opinions
. Please connect me to where you are working, even if it's 150 -200k I am paid I go appreciate m well
