Just twodays after we were all happy that Nigerians kindly donated
to cancer patient, Mayowa Ahmed, for surgery she needed for
ovarian cancer, LIB just learnt that Mayowa and her family
scammed kind hearted Nigerians. You see, Mayowa is really sick. She truly has Ovarian cancer. She's admitted at LUTH but she didn't need money for surgery, because doctors had told Mayowa she was beyond treatment and no hospital in the world could treat her as she was extremely far gone. Mayowa had reached stage 4 and doctors, unfortunately, already told her family she won't survive it and had advised them to take her home. Her family instead used her situation to raise money from Nigerians. The doctors in LUTH have also denied giving her family a medical report advising her to seek treatment abroad. Continue.. Toyin Aimakhu, who was one of those who spearheaded the fundraising, as you read this, is at LUTH right now with police officers. Some people also went to the family's home and the place is locked up. Will share video from the scene at LUTH, involving Toyin and one other donor later... #SaveMayowa raised over $100k on GoFundMe and millions of Naira. More later

A top official in the technical department of the Nigeria
Football Federation has disclosed that the football house
are set to appoint Paul Le Guen as the coach of the Super
Eagles. This came after Belgian coach, Tom Saintfiet, who was among the three shortlisted coaches for the Super Eagles mana gerial job, ruled himself out of the race to accept the Bandaglesh job, thereby leaving Le Guen and Salisu Yusuf for the position. However, the NFF insistence to hire a manager worthy of qualifying the team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, now puts Le Guen in pole position to fill the gap left behind by Samson Siasia. According to the reliable source in the Glass House, he says the NFF are almost certain of appointing the French coach for the senior national team. “The appointment of a coach for the Super Eagles is almost coming to an end. We have been working ceaselessly to ensure that Nigeria gets the best coach,” the top official revealed. “All things being equal, Paul Le Guen seems to have impressed us and I won’t be surprised if he’s appointed Super Eagles coach in the coming weeks.”he said. www.vanguardngr.com/2016/07/le-guen-set-named-super-eagles-coach/

The embattled former chairman of the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP), Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has said that he can
only let go of his claim to the chairmanship of the party
only if he is allowed to nominate ten members to join the
other ten that would be nominated by Senator Ahmed
Makarfi to organize a fresh convention for the party. Speaking yesterday when of a delegation of Abia chapter of the PDP from the 17 local governments paid him a solidarity visit in Abuja, senator Sheriff said he was ready to let go of his claim to the chairmanship of the party in deference to the intervention by the governors of Taraba and Gombe states but the Conditions that he gave must be met. But one of his former supporters, senator Buruji Kashamu yesterday appealed to Senator Sheriff to let go of his claim to the leadership of the party in the interest of the party and its supporters nationwide. According to Sheriff, the convention of the party being proposed must be held in Abuja with him and the national caretaker committee headed by Senator Makarfi nominating ten members each to conduct the convention. He said his conditions for a unified party were based on the agreement reached at the reconciliation meeting held at the Taraba State Government House under the chairmanship of Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson and deputised by Senator Ibrahim Mantu. He warned that unless the conditions he had set out were met, he would remain the national chairman of the party till 2018. Senator Sheriff said that the impunity which had prevailed in the party in the past and led it to the present sorry state must be stopped. He explained: "Proposals were put forward in Taraba and discussions cannot go forward until you handle it from the foundation. In Taraba, all issues put forward was for Makarfi Caretaker Committee to be dissolved www.vanguardngr.com/2016/07/pdp-crisis-markafi-must-go-sheriff-insists/ |
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted former Imo

Kindly Read these To The Very End And Drop Ur Comment Africa my Africa Africa of proud warriors in ancestral savannahs Africa of whom my grandmother sings On the banks of the distant river I have never known you But your blood flows in my veins Your beautiful black blood that irrigates the fields The blood of your sweat The sweat of your work The work of your slavery The slavery of your children Africa tell me Africa Is this you this black that is bent This back that breaks under the weight of humiliation This back trembling with red scars And saying yes to the whip under the midday sun But a grave voice answers me Impetuous son that tree young and strong That tree there In splendid loneliness amidst white and faded flower That is Africa your Africa That grows again obstinately And it's fruit gradually acquire The bitter taste of liberty. |

Most people ask for happiness on condition, but long-term happiness can only be felt if you don’t set conditions. Accept life unconditionally. Realise that life balances itself between the ideal and the disappointing. And the disappointments are just life’s way of saying, “I’ve got something better for you right around the corner”. So be patient, live life, accept what is, and have a little faith. Too often, we carry around things from our past that hurt us –regrets, shame, anger, pain, etc. Don’t let these negative points from the past rob your present happiness. You had to live though these things in the past, and although unfortunate, they can’t be changed. But if the only place they live today is in your mind, then let go, move on, and be happy. You can choose to view things differently. Pick one part of your life that you are unhappy with and look at it from a different point of view. See the rain as nourishment for future growth. Consider being alone for awhile to create the solitude you need to hear your inner voice. Think of your lack of funds as an opportunity to experience the simple things in life. Right now, you can choose to allow the light to shine in your life. It is a choice. Why not allow it? Once you embrace unpleasant news, not as a negative but as evidence of a need for positive change, you’re learning from it and growing. Whatever life throws at you, even if it hurts, be strong and fight through it. Remember, strong walls shake but never collapse. Life always offers you another chance –it’s called TOMORROW.

<img src="www.ynaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Neymar.jpg"</img> Barcelona striker Neymar has reportedly been put on a special diet by the club’s medical staff to ease signs of anemia just days after he made his debut for the club, according to Spanish newspaper El Pais. The Brazilian international joined the Catalan giants in June for 57 million euros ($75.7 million, £49.5 million) and made his long-awaited debut last week in a 2-2 friendly draw against Lechia Gdasnk in Poland. However, according to the paper signs of anemia were detected on his return to training after an extended summer break due to his participation in the Confederations Cup. “Neymar is being treated by Barcelona’s doctors for signs of anemia with an adequate diet and complementary course of vitamins,” it said on Saturday without quoting a source for the story. Barcelona were not immediately available for comment, but the club had previously confirmed that the player had his tonsils removed after leading his country to victory in the Confederations Cup. Anemia is a treatable condition but is thought to be extremely debilitating for top athletes as a low level of hemoglobin in the blood stream can cause excessive levels of tiredness. The news is also likely to disrupt the club’s plans to work intensively on building on the 21-year-old’s strength after club doctor Ricard Pruna expressed concerns at his slight weight of 64.5 kilos (142 lbs, 10.2 stone) when he underwent his medical. Neymar made his home bow against old club Santos on Friday night as he played 45 minutes in Barca’s 8-0 destruction of the Brazilians and has travelled with his teammates to take part in coaching clinics in Palestine and Israel before they embark on a tour of Asia with friendlies in Thailand and Malaysia.[img]<img_src="www.ynaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Neymar.jpg"</img> Barcelona striker Neymar has reportedly been put on a special diet by the club’s medical staff to ease signs of anemia just days after he made his debut for the club, according to Spanish newspaper El Pais.
