Good afternoon. I got admission to norway for bsc but realized they dont grant visas for bsc and there are covid restrictions but now i want to apply to estonia for either bsc or msc. Bsc because i want to change field to cyber security or msc physics or medical physics related if i cant change field. Please what are my chances for the bsc. Hope they grant visas and is there anyway i can bypass the ielts ?

Estonia grants visa and as far as I know it takes about 5 days to process although there is not an Estonian embassy in Nigeria.

Some schools(like EUAS) are still open for admission in Estonia for the Fall 2021 semester. So you can do your research on that and for the IELTS, For most Estonian schools, if not all, you can’t bypass the IELTS exam. You have to submit your test score while registering.

Like in most European countries you have to job hunt, it's not as easy as you'd expect but it also depends on your field of study. Estonia is an IT country so I think it'll be easier to get a job in IT if you are very skilled at what you do.

To recap, getting a job depends on your field and how good you are. There are also some part time jobs you could do which will fetch you at least the minimum wage

You don't have to make mention of your cousin in your application. Wherever the funds is coming from, must be explained and the officer must be convinced you'd have access to the funds.

By the ways, how do you prove that you have access to funds coming from a member of your family

You are missing something here bro..

Value of achievement does not mean work experience..
It can be your data science projects, conference papers, poster presentation, awards etc
You can see the second line says connection of project with scope of study.. So the achievements can basically mean your data science projects

So, like we normally do, UPDATE.

I was asked by the university in Estonia to send my transcript. They said the transcript should be sent by the awarding institution in Nigeria and no by me. I travelled down to my school to get the transcript but Non-academic staffs were fully on strike and the COVID 19 crippled alot of thing there.

God been so good, i met an elderly fellow who charged me 35K for the transcript, he said he knew Registrar and could get me the transcript in 3 days Nigeria don corrupt die fam! I follow the papa negotiate, we arrived at 27k, gave him 15k upfront. 3days later transcript was ready and it was stamped.

Called the Schools DHL plug, he was telling me tales by moonlight, saying he's not around that i should wait till next week. Naso, i say olunmaje . I went to DHL office, filled in my school information as sender, and filled estonia UNI as recipient. DHL said the package would get to estonia in 3 working day. I was charged 34,200NGN

Hi fam, so I got admitted to Tallinn University some day ago! Currently putting together my documents so I can courier them to Estonia. Had my interview with the Admission panel which consisted of 2 professors, 1 Associate Professor, and 1 departmental lecturer about 2 weeks ago.

The interview lasted about an hour, happened over zoom, i will share some of the Qs I was asked.
- I was asked to introduce myself and talk about my interest.
- Was also asked why I wanted to study in Estonia and if I have the financial resources to foot the bills
- Also, was asked to explain the case studies on my portfolio and the profs went ahead to lambast me with Qs centered around the course. I smashed these
- Was thrown a random Q about 3 times: "What would you do if you get a job paying you 10K Euro 6months into your studies, would you quit school and some other qs
- Was also asked to discuss extensively on my proposed research work and how it would benefit my country and the world at large.
- Lastly, tell us what you think you stand out and what will you do at the end of your program.

At the end of the interview, the lead Prof said, we can't wait to have you by September, na there my mind take sweet

Good morning all,

I am new on the platform. Please I have an issue. I recently applied for M.Eng in Computer Engineering (thesis-based and funded) in MUN but was rejected based on unavailability of supervisor. But they said that I can be considered for MASc in Computer Engineering for fall 2021 but it require additional fees of about 21,000CAD apart from the school fees which is about 2,000CAD. I have told them to go ahead and consider me for that but I seek advice for a path:

1. Do I go ahead with this MASc and pay additional fees (which I intend to raise but do not have a the moment and join them in fall?
2. Do I wait and reapply for M.Eng for next year and try and get a supervisor ahead of time?
3. Do I go straight and apply afresh and apply for PHD fully funded cos I already have my MSc from a Nigerian University.

I intend to use my uncle as a sponsor and my current account is not up to 3,000USD and I am also married with kids. Age:36

I will appreciate your kind response.

Most Schools if not all in Estonia require IELTS before giving admission...

So basically you need it for both admission and visa process

Yes, I've paid my tuition fee. After which I received my acceptance letter. You have a deadline to pay your fees right? So you have to pay before the deadline.
It depends on you, If you want to book the appointment before paying the tuition fee. I'll advise you to pay the fee before booking appointment, that is, if you're willing to go through the hurdles of booking visa appointment. Between, I've done my visa interview after more than 2 months of calling endlessly.

Please how did you eventually call through?
Did you use an agent?
