Tah,shatap! Are u in their minds to know if they buy d idea or against it?
I think u need to watch the responses of eminent igbo people in US during the igbo conference to nnamdi kanu on his request for arms and ammunition, den u will know d wise igbos are not supportive of ds coz we r not really ready to stand alone, but just some few political folks trying to use ds a means to subject innocent ndigbo to more suffering. A better tn to agitate about to d fg is how to make igbos feel more a part of this country nd also implementing the resolves in the last confab atleast, and not tryna instigate another civil war!
Nwata etoruhi etoru, were n'acho ihe gburu nnaya, ihe gburu nnaya egbuo ya! I rest my case!
Gbam!!! i wonder if they expect illustrious ndigbo that have made millions both in the SW and the north, to lose everything just because of the dream and idea of a single man?? i sit and wonder how different are you ndigbos that buy into the idea of Nnamdi kanu from the followers of ISIS and Boko Haram, because mere words continually passed changed their ideology.

Yes be that as it may, I still believe the idea of Biafra is just a means for some disgruntled south easterners to cause trouble. They should know not every easterners buy the idea of Biafra.

I'll even want to ask them why they didn't launch this ridiculous crusade during the past administration, how come they're launching it now? The guise of marginalization is just a ruse they want to use to stir trouble.
My brother i guess you haven't being following the news.... was it after the elections that MASSOB was established? this has being going on for a while and the expiry of the amalgamation was an opportunity to publicize it more. i am not a fan of the whole Biafra movement, but saying it is a scheme by some disgruntled politicians is wrong... when you go deep south, you will understand the reason why the Igbos are screaming marginalization.

Bro stop lying.
In the USA, many roads and bridges built by government use private companies to collect toll NOT government employees!

I have also never heard that interstate highways in USA were built by private billionaires and tolled. Stop lying and making things up as if every Nigerian is uninformed like you.

[quote author=adeyemi2015 post=40813396]We shouldn't play politics with every national issue pls! Re-introduction of Tolls should be a welcome idea!
[quote]The most important thing is; ensuring the proper management of funds generated through the Tolls as well as timely maintenance of the Country's Highways! I keep on asking where's the money collected on business n company tax for the various national n multi-national companies in the country, which re certainly running into Billions monthly. This toll is another system of legitimate corruption. The lekki toll is still there and the whole issue gradually died down. I will ask, how will dis money be accounted for? We shouldn't keep shut, let's ask relevant questions.

I'm impressed at the maturity displayed by the North, who ignored the deep provocation in favour of peace; thereby maintaining an atmosphere where PMB can effectively deliver on his mandate.

Besides, its common knowledge that the agitation is the handiwork of PDP apologists, dancing to their tune only rewards their sinister plot.

Shame on the iPod arsonists.
Oga, keep shut. Then what would u say about the maturity of the southerners in handling the killings in the north before boko haram started bombing mosques.

Why didn't Nnamdi tow the path of seeking for referendum and dialogue instead of instigating violence among the gullible ones. Biafra is a delusion and by the time the federal government is done dealing with Nnamdi KANU for treasonable felony he will understand that everybody is trapped in the zoo and there is no going back.

Yesterday, I was going to write a post about how comprehension is a big problem to us,Nigerians but I eventually let it pass. No where on earth did Buhari say 'if he doesn't rule, that blood would flow'. What he said (without quotation ) was if PDP continued to rig,the baboon and the dog would be soaked in blood. Is that too hard to understand or translate? Rigging always comes with agitations and unhappiness that makes people start fighting...simple explanation but lack of comprehension made people misquote and misunderstand. If you know anything about "national integrity ",you would know that people like Kanu cannot be tolerated after threatening national security. Sadly,y'all prefer playing local tribal and ethnic politics in 2015..SMH. I,personally, I don't give a shiit about tribe..I always tell people who care to know that "I AM A NIGERIAN,FVCK TRIBE". Go and watch the video where Kanu was asking for sponsors for 'guns and bullets' to fight 'the zoo' and you're here talking local tribal crap. A criminal is a criminal and should be treated as such according to the law.
God Bless Nigeria.
And in your opinion, the continual incarceration of Nnamdi will die down the protest?

You guys keep making a comparison to Scotland but what you fail to realize is that the Scottish Independence movement is made up of intellectuals, academics and politicians. They provided evidence of how their country will be constituted if they got independence, from oil treaties with Norway, decommissioning of nuclear facilities. They had several bases covered before asking for independence. The Scottish people saw evidence of how their country will function if they leave the union.

It is not like Ipod run by an illiterate that goes on radio calling for the massacre of Nigerians and calling Leaders names and asking for his supporters to murder a well know Nigerian Pastor. He was even caught on video asking for money to buy arms. This is an unprofessional illiterate with no common sense.

The Scottish spent years trying to convince their people, they then formed a party - the SNP. After decades of campaigning, they got majority of political seats in the Scottish Parliament. Even after that, it took them years to convince the UK government to agree to a referendum. The whole process took over 50 years. It is a separation and not a tea party.

When Igbos are serious, they will vote for a party that wants Biafra independence, they will make them senators, HORs and governors. After that they can negotiate with the Nigerian state for a referendum.

You just dont wake up one morning and start shouting Referendum. It will take decades of negotiations and talks.
Nice one... I keep saying that the whole Biafra things doesn't have a road map nor an economic structure.

MY OPINION!!

The best all the BIAFRAN protesters should do in Onitsha bridge is, look for a way to permanently disconnect yourselves from Nigeria from the Niger Bridge FINISH. The senseless ingrates called igbos want to have biafra and still continue ripping off Nigerians by holding on to their swindling outlets throughout other parts of Nigeria selling their fake imported products.

If you know where to get Nnamdi Kanu to come help you achieve this. BETTER!!

One begging question, Oshiomole is busy attacking this woman, he fail to forget that we are in a country where there are back doors to due process.... i will ask, all the money Buhari spent or gave out before picking his cabinet, did it go through the desk of the 'minister of finance'? we are in a country where we scream due process but nothing is done that way. i will say this again, if there is anyone who has any documented evidence of graft against this woman should come forward and not to crucify her through the media. So Oshiomole should just sit down and tell Nigerians why among all the ministers of the former administration, he chose to pick on this woman who is far more intelligent than his generations can ever be even if he thinks he can change it by marrying a white woman.

Lemme voice out my mind before dey eventually decide to start imprisoning us dat speak the truth against the govt for 2years...
I am strongly a one nigeria believer but It now seems obvious dat dis one nigeria won't hold.. How can Buhari nd the FG know the solution to dis IPOB protests and the solution to a future war and don't want to do nothing bou it? Release Kanu and send him on exile from the so called zoo.. Save lives...
Instead they are planning on taking our freedom of speech.. Poverty has heightened and buhari is busy travelling..

Does the old man want us to keep shouting "sai baba" even if we are dying like someone under the influence of a mind controller..
I share your view, i'm not in support of the whole Biafra thing but Mr. President should at least find a solution in order to avert lives being lost. The truth is that, his silence to Nigeria's present situation is deafening. And if he does look forward a sensible way forward about this IPOB protest, the country will plunge into crisis.

Why not start with the 500 schools governor Amaechi built to international standard and sent Children to school free of charge with Uniforms, Sandals, Socks and Books all provided by the government. Why not start with Golf Estate that Amaechi built or the standard Hospitals, Or the Federal roads he constructed that made GEJ pay the state over a Hundred Billion naira. Or the Fly Overs or the Sports Centers with top equipments or Stadium. Pleasez I said unless you do not live in Port Harcourt, you will know Amaechi is the best Governor Rivers State ever had.

He was so good that the President decided to fight him amd starve him from funds for continuing his projects. Many Children were treated in the state free of charge from the government purse. Free surgeries for mothers with Antenatal complications.

Amaechi would have gone far in that Monorail project if not that GEJ and his forty thieves decided to starve the Best Rivers State Government of funds to develop the state.
I'm not trying to refute Amaechi successes in Rivers State but all what he did cannot make him answerable for the N52billion missing while he was Governor

G1gbolahan:
I am only dissappointed this was allowed to last this long before Alhaji Lai corrected people. I have a copy of the APC manifesto that I read thoroughly and I continuously told people the 5k promised was for 25 million poorest Nigerians not "unemployed graduates" and that it was even conditional, meaning your children had to be in school and immunised thereby encouraging education and health care too. But many just speak without the most basic level of research. It was disappointing this came up in the Senate too, when you expect Senators to know better. For graduates, if as a graduate, what you need from government, is 5k months, something is VERY wrong.
How will these 25million "poorest Nigerians" be identified and what actually qualifies one to be the poorest? Kindly educate me.
