It is saddening that some of us who are educated sees nothing wrong in this. I guess some of us know what defamation of character is and what it's consequence on a struggling brand like chicken republic. Even Dangote as big as it is can never play partisan politics. |

ugnmezi:You are even talking about the name, i'm even wondering if there's a ministry of finance. |
texazzpete:Then you are oblivious of the amount a Government spend in acquiring land from communities to carry out such projects. |
Whether una like am or not, she's the Best. It's only the likes of Soludo n Oby Ezekwesili that can be compared with her. If you don't like it kindly slit your wrist. |
It is in Nigeria that the people's rights are thrown to the wind. Have you ever wondered why the American security agents read criminals their rights before arrest and what happens if they don't? There's a degree of offence where one can lose his rights and Dasuki's case is not one of them. None of the charges brought against him involves terrorism so his counsel has the right to seek redress in court on violation of his rights. So it's left to the court to rule if his rights were infringed upon or not. Note that every court ruling is used as precedence to judge another case. |
sickstars:I was one of such boiz... those days tho |
When NEPA refuse to bring light and Sodeinde boiz decide to take their frustration out on girls passing by. |

Girls are really fond of jumping into conclusion... |
If the Judge rules in favour of a secret trial, then i'll say the court hasn't being fair. These man has been judged publicly by the people and the media without even hearing a single statement from him. It would only be fair to make the trial public and even televise it so Nigerians can know the real truth and not what is being fed to us through the media. |
@OP, nice piece. We enjoy d cheapest of everything in Nigeria. Nigeria is one of the only countries in the world subsidising tertiary education, you can ask people in Europe n America how much they pay in their various Uni. But the moment Nigerians hear of increment of fees, they shout. Well, for the first time, i'm not against the FG on the 50naira charge. Some of us go come here dey claim millionaire but if bank commot their 10naira, they will go and bring down d roof. |
mamagee3:Baby, I mean that literally, do yoursef, ur mom n the Whole N.L a favour n slit ur wrists |

Jonathan Government festered with corruption.... So Stale Jonathan Government Stole Billions.... We are not disputing that Naira Started Falling Under Jonathan's Tenure.... We are all aware I will ask our so called "Economists" in this forum, what has been this administration fiscal and monetary policy since it took office? During the campaign, we heard a lot of things that made Nigerians believe that YES, we have found a Leader that will steer this country to great development. Creation of jobs, Stable power (seeing a bit of that all thanks to "body language" , Stability of oil price (Only baba na OPEC) and some others. When this Administration came into power, i was expecting an Economic blue print on how to pull is this country out of the Economic mess they know the previous govt got us into. When crude oil price started crashing, it was predicted that it will crash further and i still wonder if the APC was oblivious of this when they were making campaign promises. Since this administration came into power the country keeps losing Billions of Dollars because most foreign investors keeps pulling our of Nigeria all because of the uncertain Economic policies of the current administration. The Naira keeps crashing almost everyday without one day of been strengthened against the dollar. And this is over 7 months in power, the current administration is still apportioning blames. Okonjo Iweala foresaw this that was why she advised that Subsidy should be scrapped but that was the day Jonathan became Nigeria's number one enemy. We need solution to the problem at hand and not reminding us always of the cause of the problem. Let us call a spade a spade, we are tired of blames and blames, we want results and results and not to come and distract us with the whole Dasuki and his Yam eaters case. |
