Y'all Nigerian are hypocrites... The same people that are here defending the government on encouraging local manufacturing are still the same people that'll see a locally made product n tag it "Aba Made" and boycott such product.
Politics › Re: Olisa Metuh's Family Releases Statement On His Arrest By EFCC by sinistermind(m): 7:36am On Jan 08, 2016
It is saddening that most of us aren't seeing what is being played here, the current administration is trying to silent the opposition eventually making this country one party. This is administration is similar to that of Olusegun Obasanjo, using the EFCC as a hunter. Eventually, most of us will be the 'Olisa Metuh' who will speak against the wrongs of this administration.
Politics › Re: EFCC Gets Court Order To Detain Metuh by sinistermind(m): 9:15pm On Jan 07, 2016
Nigeria is gradually slipping into a one party system.... i will say this a witch hunt... they know that detaining Olisa Metuh will shut PDP up.... there is still nothing on his case. He was only invited to explain the 1billion plus in his account and now it is detention. Femi Adesina allegedly received 50m and that is swept under the carpet without investigation.... and one APC bastard will come here and be shouting Change.

One truth is that, the present administration is not being diplomatic in handling sensitive issues. This whole Shiite stuff is just one sided, the chief of Army staff should be probed also but nothing is being done. God help us in dis our country o.
Politics › Re: Femi-Kayode Reacts To Buhari's Media Chat by sinistermind(m): 2:36pm On Dec 31, 2015
i really don't know whether it is the hatred for PDP or party loyalism that is making most people blind to see what's happening. The President actually shot himself on the foot with his words and i quote 'people like Nnamdi Kanu and Dasuki don't deserve bail'. A President who is to defend the rule of law ought not to make such comments on national television. Court orders are court orders, these people were granted bail and still held in custody, if they hadn't gone to court, it is a different case. In a sane country, even the worst of criminals are given a fair hearing. The best the DSS could do to keep him was to place him under arrest. Believe me, the case of Nnamdi Kanu might spark up international criticism

I have been a guest for sometime but due to the condition I'm in, I had to register to post this.
I'm student in vietnam and from friday I wouldn't be able to receive money from Nigeria via my naira based ATM card.
Please is there any other way to get around this issue?
cc:lalasticlala please move to front page for urgent attention.
Western Union is available but they can't send above a certain amount. Kindly tell ur family in naija to go make enquiry from the bank the maximum amount they can send via Western union. If the money ur people want to send is above the limit, they can split it in 2 ways.
Politics › Re: ''Why Lai Mohammed Must Be Fired'' - Femi Aribisala by sinistermind(m): 12:37pm On Dec 29, 2015
Good write-up from Aribisala... Since the inception of this administration, the best we have seen to far is the improvement in the power sector which so far has been credited to the body language of the President and the $2.1b arm deal probe. it is 7 months the administration came to be and the Economic road map is uncertain. The country loses billions of Nigeria daily due to investors pulling out because of the uncertainty of the economy. When the APC was campaigning, i told my friends that these people are only promising the impossible and here it is, nothing is being done. According to Femi, the President promised to equal N1 to $1 when it was N230 in the unofficial market, right now it is N280. We only hear of the improvement of the pretroleum sector in the media but i can bet you that 80% of Nigeria aren't seeing such improvement. Well, it is too early to judge the administration but so far from what is visible, they are taking credit for the projects of the last administration. We know the past administration was filled with corruption and we have being hearing this since campaign, but it is high time to speak the truth and seek for the way forward than still comparing the last administration.

banki:
I realy wish we had a true vibrant opposition in nigeria

Imagine the people calling others liars, was it not labaran maku that said jonathan brought facebook to nigeria? Did aribisala call for his resignation? Was it not the former government that lied sevrally that they had killed shekau? Was it not the former government that claimed they had fixed all the major highways in nigeria? Was it not the previous government that claimed our economy was healthy while they fed us with useless statistics only for us to discover that it was a lie?

Then those same people have the useless guts to call others liars this pdp goons should go and sit down...
Then u are definitely misinformed or as Aribisala said seeing nothing beyond what the APC has sold to you. Even fashola confirmed that the last administration built more roads in Nigeria. And how can u compare the issue of security with facebook. Receive sense my brother

Then I guess you don't know the power of social media... if he said this on the Senate floor, would anyone apart from the senators hear his voice?

jaybee3:
What exactly has he said that's any different to the bunkum he has been spewing on twitter.

Lai Mohammed explained that the major reason behind the scarcity is the inability of the current govt's ability to pay backlog of subsidy payments incurred during the previous administration and specifically from august last year or thereabout.

If the marketers/importers are owed money, banks unable to extend credit facilities because of uncertainties surrounding governments ability to meet her financial obligation to the marketers and the mother of all evil, our inability to sufficiently refine our own crude. how then is Oga Lai out of place with his assertion?

Does Murray Bruce have a working brain or what?
Then I think it is you that doesnt have a working brain. 7 months af coming int power and u are still blaming the previous administration. They shoul think of a way around the current situation and not throwing blames. It is quite unprofessional of him to come out and speak such trash.

GogetterMD:
BH has pledged alliance to Daesh(IS), so it's more of a splinter terror cell of ISIS in west Africa. Now they want to form a coalition to cut ISIS down to size (much like the MNJTF), you are here claiming islamization of Nigeria. Like say more than half the population of Nigerians ain't Muslims before.
Now that help is minimal and we need as many hands as possible to put an end to this scourge once and forall, CAN is here spilling balderdash.

P.S. before you start shouting and screaming Arab nations, don't forget that Isreal is also an Arab nation
You are a complete dullard. People like u don't know that Israel is an European Nation and has never been an Arab nation.

Well, it is now very evident that is a clear witch-hunting. Why trying to start investigating Peter Odili's Tenure as governor? If that's that's the case, Tinubu, Obasanjo or oda people sinc 1999 should be investigated.
