Kk, 8 bars. Once i drop, u've gotta reply within 48 hours. No biting No feeding off opponents line I'm a lil busy now, i'll drop ma lines a little later |
@ tosin i get ur point but 'i am the ladder to the top' means KH isnt on top either and since he didnt expressly say that MI isnt on top, what he is implying is that MI climbed him to reach the top. It would have been a KO but he didn't structure it well |
'u're so short~i'm the ladder to the top'. To start with its not a punchline and secondly, it is whack. Its like saying, MI you are on top but I'm the ladder to the top which means you stepped on me to reach the top. KH dissed himself but MI cudnt take advantage. KH won anyways |
So sad. He was a man of good intentions whose vision for his motherland was truncated by the mercenaries who constituted his cabinet. A law abiding president unlike his immediate predecessor. A respecter of the rule of law and due process. Nigerians will truly miss you. I wonder what will happen next |
heard 2face's worth 550 million naira and d'bang is worth 950 million. I think 2face is worth more. |
KH dissed first, MI had all the advantage in the world but still screwed up Even after KH dissed himself with the 'ladder to the top' line, MI couldnt capitalize. This KH first rap attempt and he still floored MI. |

MI is a disgrace to hip hop. MI has been rapping since God knows when and he still got floored by KH's first rap attempt! Iceberg slim also whooped him. |
down for a battle. what are ur rules? |

Why (Jadakiss) why's everybody tryin to rap/ why's a lot of rappers not dope~dope is like 10 a wrap// why do we greet whackness~with applauds and claps/ why do we sacrifice realness on the altar of crap// hip hop's been infiltrated~they killin this shiitt/ why's few emcees legit~ but the fakes wont quit// yeah~and why must i make a stash/ why's the average Nigerian's state of mind~ all about that cash// why my man Papoose didnt get signed/ real lyricist on the line~waitin for his time to shine// why that nigguh Dagrin have to die/ look at how he tried~i wonder what's the essence of life// why's H to the Izzo and V to the Izza/ why do you gotta copy jigga~ and just do all he says// why do i gotta struggle~ if life's a lottery/ i put ma H to the hustle~V to the victory// |
Please, if you have links to new rock songs or bands on tour, please post! |
this is an excuse for a diss track! |
Cole fixed Jay z on a star is born but thats no big deal. You know Jay z is so good now that if he features anybody he(jay z) will be killed. Cudi woulda have killed him had he rap on 'Already gone'. Cassidy killed him on 'cold as ice'. If he does a collabo with ruggedman he will also get murked. Its time we got used to Jay z getting killed on a track! |
Are these not the same Amodu boys? |
we have a big misconception of what being original is. spitting in your mother tongue does not directly translate to being original. if so, everybody rapping in Africa is not original because hip hop itself is a borrowed culture. Originality means not being someone else, sounding yourself. e.g, when you listen to Papoose, for instance, you know its Papoose from the way he sounds, from the subject matter, his rhyme pattern, etc. On the other hand, when you listen to Guerilla Black, the first thing that comes to your mind is Biggie smallz, hence, he is not original. This does not capture everything originality is cos originality is ambiguos. Originality goes beyond spitting in your mother tongue. Big Pun rapped mostly in English but was still original. |
I woulda given this to proto but i recently heard a tribute track to the late Guru of Gangstarr by Skales and it was off the metre. Had me confused if it was Naija's skales or the Yankee one that does a recap of every year. So for now, its a tie! On the ongoing arguement, age is an important factor. You cant compare what you know at 13 to what you know now. There are times you have one off cases but on a normal level, the older you are, the more you know and the better you can spit. You know what really matters is what you are talking about. I wouldnt want to listen to you and be hearing stuff about candy or some high school childish stuff. |
Gino had the best verse on 'owo ati swagger'. |
@ rock station Djinee calls himself a rock star but i think he doesnt really know where he belongs. Anyways, i love 'i no dey shame'. I'm addicted to that song. I think he does better with alternative than the other genres he lays his hand upon. |
@ javalove mode9 is not so known in Ghana. The Naija peeps that get airplay majorly are MI and Ikechukwu(of all naija acts) |
Saucekid doesnt digg Nas. This explains why he spits the way he spits. |
abeg, let him go sharp, sharp! Good plans no doubt but cataclysmically executed. |
Jagz doesnt pass for a rapper in the first place, he can rap though, so i wasnt expecting a hip hop album. He really is a Jack of all trades, knows a lil something about everything. He's someone in the mould of Timbaland IMO. 'we dont say autotune, we say its a Jesse jagz track'! |
It depends on how it is managed cos it can have positive and ruinuos effects. It can turn out good especially if true federalism is applied. |
Johnathan is making all the right moves. He is learning quickly from his political lecturer: Iwu's out of the way now, to be replaced with a Johnathan loyalist. Ibori(head of the Yaradua cabal), declared wanted and currently at large. Vincent Ogbulafor, PDP National Chairman and chief proponent of the zoning formula that would mean that the PDP presents a northern candidate, charged of fraud by ICPC. |
@ slap1 why are we shouting eureka about this? Johnathan is simply puting the right machineries in place to actualize his 2011 aspirations. Iwu is going to be replaced with a Jonathan loyalist. Out of the blues, ICPC charges PDP's National Chairman, Vincent Ogbulafor of fraud. The hitherto dead ICPC found now to be the most convenient time to hunt Ogbulafor after he recently reiterated the party's plan to adhere to its zoning system. This would mean that PDP would present a northern candidate for 2011 and puts an end to Jo's 2011 aspirations. A letter of invitation dated March 27, 2010 was said to have been dispatched to Ibori, 5 hours after he had been declared wanted on April 13, 4 days before he was requested to appear before the EFCC and a court injunction was granted for the two parties to maintain status quo. Johnathan is resorting to the witch hunting tactics of those before him. He is playing do or die politics, politics of vendetta and acrimony. Replacing Iwu wont bring about the desired electoral reform. What about the Uwais reccomendation? |
Good move but Jonathan should know that witch hunting Ibori, who is purpoted to be the leader of the Yardua caucus has just portrayed him to be a proponent of 'do or die politics'. Johnathan is no different from his predecessors. Neglecting due process and the rule of law to achieve an end is simply not acceptable! |
@ ranoscky na madness to runs babe for 3 years na! No matter how agro hold me, if babe dey dirty, e go turn me off! |
@ dayokanu: mario balo. is Italian. LOL. FIFA should introduce point counting system in football. |

Mourinho is no genius! Just uses negative tactics to meet his ends. Check out his head to head with Guardiola. 1 win against Guardiola's 2 and one draw! FIFA should find a way to curb the ultra defensive nature of teams. This is really killing the game. The game is supposed to be beautiful. LOS CULES TILL . . . |
i wonder what specie of weed Guardiola smoked when he traded Eto'o for Ibra. Can you imagine Eto'o playing for Barca today? It would have been a different tale. Ibra just failed to turn up as usual in big matches. Why didnt the ref just play 'blind' and allow Bojan's goal? Men, i have debts to pay! |
