You got everything right apart from the part where you blamed Mourinho for Lingard and Mkhi's poor display. Both of 'em weren't expected to flop but that's just football. Would you say Mou made a mistake by not seeing the future? Blaming him for their poor performance today is taking things too far.

We all pray for Rooney to lose less of the ball but he was okay today, his performance didn't warrant any criticism.
My blame on Mourinho is for playing both players out of position. Lingard plays well from the RW, but he's moved to start from the LW. Mhiki played best behind the striker against Hull, so why move him to the wings on his full debut?

As for Rooney, he's just average. I highlighted his passion but that's just it. Against Hull he's crap, then assisted Rashford's goal and all his sins were forgiven. Anyway, Mourinho will find out soon enough when he continues playing Rooney. Na em go lose finally.

the point is not Rooney's performance today, the point is Rooney doesn't figure if a team is to be selected on merit. This didn't start today, it started from SAF last season in charge.
He can have the odd good display but reality is he makes our moves predictable & quite simple to defend against.

The hard fact is that we are not in a strong position to field on sentiments, we are on a journey to return to the pinnacle & the most potent strategies should be employed while other peripheries like "goal record" should be very very secondary.

With what Mkhitaryan played today, even he played in the middle against kindergarten defenders he would have flopped. Moreover I was told by a Bundesliga follower that Mkhitaryan is better on the wing.

I didnt also understand what you mean by Mkhitaryan's wing, did you allocate wings to them in training?

Secondly, this was what you people kept saying about Mata, until he was given chance in the middle, he couldn't own it. Then you said same thing about Herrera, he also couldn't own the number 10 in the absence of Rooney in the second half of last season.
R
Mhiki was injured already, then playing on the wings was more burden too. This was why I blamed Mourinho for our failure.

Elampiro, I didn't say mhiki's wing, I said he plays better behind the striker. Didn't you watch our last match? He operated best from Rooney's position. What's there to argue about? As for your last paragraph, watching United match will show you that Mata constantly moves to midfield in all our matches, leaving Valencia to man the wings alone. Mata is not good in the wings. Van Goat caused all these nonsense. Then Rashford's case is not even worth debating if you think he's good in the wings.

Your criticism of Rooney showed that you didn't watch the match.

You said what was Rooney doing on the wing when Lingard ought to have started. Mr Man, Lingard started and Rooney didnt start from the wing.

Secondly, you said Rooney is blocking Rashford, Mkhitaryan and Mata. But Rooney far performed Mkhitaryan today. Even Opabunmi would have done far better than Mkhitaryan today.

E be like say you don already program your brain to always criticize Rooney.
You're wrong. You didn't understand me. I meant Lingard starting at the right wing where Rooney played in the second-half would have been better. He started at martial's position.

Rooney performed better than mhiki doesn't negate the fact that Rooney is playing on Mhiki's position. Mhiki can't play on the wings. He's useless there. Even Mata is on the wings coz of Rooney, so what did I type wrong there?

Elampiro, Valencia's positioning is poor..

There were atleast two occassions where he drew tight to an opponent on the flank (who wasnt with the ball)...only for another city player to run into the space created

Valencia did he best - he supplied width (especially in a match where our wingers failed to turn up) and he also showed commitment but I think there are still flaws that would make some people wish that we sign a natural RB.

He's still the best we have got at the moment though..
This is true. He's our best RB, but he has his flaws. A natural RB better than him will be the best.

Statistics suggest the first half was really poor cuz I didn't see much wrong for the 40mins I viewed.

Pogba need to do much better attacking & this is why I advocate a 3 man midfield. Either Schneiderlin or Herrera should join the CMF & release Pogba going forward. This is the only way we can get good value. Besides I didn't see the midfield prowess from Man City many people seem to be raving about.

Smalling & Bailly should be our pairing. These men together will be indomitable.

& Zlatan should have gotten more than a fücking goal!
There's nothing outstanding about City's squad, but the same can be said about United. Both teams need a lot of improvement.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sinizia: 3:04pm On Sep 10, 2016
I wanted to watch the match till the end before giving my appraisal.

I'll start with the man that cost us the match - Mourinho.

Mourinho showed he didn't learn anything from van Goat's mistakes, I wonder what he's doing during his free periods. Doesn't he read the papers? Doesn't he read pundits' criticisms of United last season? He repeated all van Goat's mistakes. He went for the wrong players and played them out of positions. Same thing that made me hate van Goat. His first mistake was sticking with Rooney despite how useless he's been for 4 years now. Rooney has been this season and even against Slovakia, England fans complained and yet Mourinho stuck with him. Read this space, Mourinho will NEVER succeed if Rooney is a sure starter. He couldn't sub him and instead pushed Rushford to the wings and Mhiki too. Rooney is holding the success of Rashford, Mhiki and Mata, all by himself. What was Rooney doing at wings where Lingard ought to have started? And then removing Shaw and keeping quiet as United kept sending the ball in the air hoping for some useless luck during the ending stages. What happened to asking them to keep it a bit low? Mourinho killed this match. Enough said.

De Gea - good keeper. No doubts.
Valencia - simply our best player. A rare gem.
Bailly - was shaky, was also to be blamed for our first goal. He improved in the second-half but his first-half was all shades of wrong. But he wasn't helped with our poor midfield in the first-half. He needs to improve, a lot too.
Blind - I wasn't surprised, me and elampiro have stated it so many times that he's not a defender. If Mourinho can't find a place in the midfield for him, he'd be sold or benched. He's useless in the first-half.
Shaw - nothing spectacular but was defensively solid.
Fellani - was our only recognizable and competent midfielder, rooney and Pogba were too useless.
Pogba - flop of the match. He's only good with a good DM like Kante to sit back and mop his mistakes. Waste of money.
Rooney - total failure. Only positive thing is his fighting spirit.
Lingard and Mhiki - played out of position. Mourinho to be blamed.
Ibra - our best striker. Derived of any helping hand up front no thanks to Mourinho benching Rashford.
Rashford - has great potential and one helluva of a striker but Mourinho keeps wasting his talent. I saw it coming with Ibra's punchase.

On Man Shitty, Guardiola is a good coach, take away the hate and you'd see that. He has his philosophies but it requires the right players to implement. He'd be winner with another side but he might not succeed with City's current side. The City side is not good enough to implement his visions consistently. I see City improving to a great force if all Guardiola's ideas are properly mastered.

Sane, Stones and Bravo - are all frauds though. With this match we can lay to rest that Guardiola doesn't defend. It's a lie. The truth is a coach will defend or attack depending on his players. City is no Barca so expect defensive games in some matches.

The only positive thing for me is that this is not a title deciding match. So both coaches have all the time to improve their squad's style of play.

Is it

The city game were it was Rashford's individual brilliance that bailed us out?

The 3-2 win against arsenal were it was also Rashford's individual brilliance that bailed us out?

The FA cup game against Everton were it was martial's individual brilliance that won us the cup

The westham game were it was Rashford's individual brilliance that won us the game

Or the match against Leicester that martial's individual brilliance earned us a draw?

You see the nonsense you've been spewing since?

I ask you again, which game did martial, lingard, rooney, mata, carrick all kick the ball at once into the back of the net to earn us a win? Because according to your stoopid theory, when an individual scores a goal it is down to individual brilliance, so which game under van gaal did 4 players score a goal at once?

He may be wrong, I am not to judge. But ganging up to insult a single person by throwing posts here and there is a sign of low self esteem. Because such people would never make a single contribution whether right or wrong. They only pop up when they find someone is being picked out. Inferiority. Simple.
No, you've the right to judge. I've seen you judge many times so why are suddenly this sanctimonious? To appear holy? If I say Olofinjana scored the winning goal for Germany at the WC, won't you judge me and say I'm wrong? So why all these holy Mary antics by you? Who are you fooling? The fact remains that his logic is dumb and even if the whole world corrects him, it's not ganging up. Call a spade a spade.

Speaking of ganging up, you're in position to preach the sermon though. Some time back, Adelana insulted_Nihilist and later apologized.

But with Kagawa, it's hard not to insult him coz his posts are too stupid that insulting him is hard to resist. What you did right now is what Raumdeuter always does, accusing us of ganging up against Kagawa. There's a very thiccccccckkkkk line between having a different opinion and having recurring stupid opinions.

Why always him? Why not me, £SailorXY,_DopeJemi,_Gbr1, Afrodoc, etc? Even elampiro_ that his support for Rooney gets on our nerves doesn't get bashed. The attack on him was from Chelsea fans sef, coz United fans are damn tired of his shenanigans.

Let's do away with all the semantics or stats that's been thrown about and focus on his dumb logic. Now Kagawa said Hazard has had his best SEASON (emphasis on season) under Conte.

How many matches make a season? Answer it and juxtapose your answer with THREE MATCHES (the current number of matches). What Kagawa is insinuating is that from next match, Hazard is on a new season while his team-mates are playing their fourth match. Meaning by his logic, Hazard has played over 50 seasons in his entire career.

See how dumb it sounds? Doesn't that strike you as the words of someone suffering from cerebral palsy? And in your bid to support him you ended up disgracing yourself.

If you enter the exam hall and the question is:

Hazard's best SEASON was
1. In 2014 season
2. In 2015 season
3. AFTER THREE MATCHES IN 2016.

Which option will you choose? Oya, answer. . . undecided

Are we watching different Matches under Jose Mourinho?! I think you should blame Martial for slowly adapting to the new Manager's System!

What can You say of our last Match before the Break?! Rashford replaced Martial, and he wasn't glued to the wing, rather he was switching positions which eventually got him the winning Goal!

Was Mata also limited on the right wing?! When Micki came in, was he not roaming and inter-changing wings?!

I think you have no point here, you simply just wanna start another baseless argument this Evening!
Don't you know Mourinho should be blamed for Martial's poor form? After all he's the France national team coach that relegated Martial to the bench. You know it's a baseless argument and you're still wasting time engaging in it. Na you get time Sha. Carry on.

Naingollan, take it away!!
Express Sport understands the Belgian was one of Antonio Conte's first transfer targets as he looked to overhaul the Blues squad.

During Euro 2016, the 28-year-old admitted he had talks with the Blues about a move to Stamford Bridge. "I have met with Antonio Conte and I know he wanted me at Juventus," he told reporters. "He has told me what kind of player I can be for him and I feel he still wants me."

But in July, Nainggolan confirmed he would remain at Roma after meeting director of football Walter Sabatini.
He said: "Will I stay at Roma? Yes, I'm going to remain here."

Every club have been rejected by different players, Shekpe is not exempted. But big and small clubs.

Neymar rejected Madrid.
Terry and Bailly rejected Shitty.
Vardy and Benzema rejected Assanal.
A lot of players rejected Shekpe this summer alone. Even Simeone and Guardiola both turned down the chance to coach Shekpe.

I can go on and on, but you ain't worth expending my energy on. Next time you dare decide to troll here, buy enough MB and use Google first to research your points coz you won't get away this easy!!

And for my coupe de grace. . . To drive the stake through your heart. . . This one is special and damming enough to put you in your place!!

On this transfer window again, Coming from another Shekpe 'rejectee'. . .

Marcelo Brozovic, take it away!!

The Croatia international will pen a new contract with the Nerazzurri that is worth less than the one the Blues offered him to move to London.

Marcelo Brozovic has turned down a contract offer from Chelsea in order to sign a new deal with Inter. The Blues had a £25 million bid for the 23-year-old accepted by the Nerazzurri, but the player turned down the chance to move to the Premier League outfit. Although Chelsea offered the midfielder a bigger wage than Inter, he has opted to remain at San Siro.
Brozovic's agent, Miroslav Bicanic,
encouraged a bidding war over his client , after making Inter's valuation for Brozovic known to Chelsea officials.
"Yes, it is official Brozo will stay in Inter," he told Goal. "Otherwise, he would have been on the plane to London and not with national team in Sisak. After he returns from Croatia, Marcelo will sign a new, improved contract with Inter.

"With it he will earn less than he would have if he had signed for Chelsea, but he feels comfortable in Inter, he knows the city and the club will play in Europa League. He didn't want to rush to England because there is a new coach at Inter."

Inter recently signed Joao Mario and Gabigol, who will boost the efforts of Frank de Boer's side in Serie A.

Meanwhile, the news that Brozovic will not sign for Chelsea is another blow for Antonio Conte's side. The Stamford Bridge outfit have already missed out on the likes of Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly and AC Milan's Alessio Romagnoli in recent weeks.

And BTW, enough of your obnoxious lies about Luiz's return to Shekpe. We all know how it went down, from Unai Emery deeming him surplus to requirement, to him being disgraced against Monaco and getting subbed, to Shekpe buying him after several rejections from other players, and to you Shekpe fans wailing bitterly on why he's bought. LOL. Adelana, you won't believe what I just found out. When Nihilist and his hating sidekick, Kokaneprodigy were pytalising nonsense in the afternoon that United were PDP abi na ABC, Nihilist mentioned that Halsey was right at least since it concerns United. What they didn't reveal was that Halsey also revealed an injustice meted out on Rooney/United (and I'm sure that the REST OF EPL TEAMS with Gayners and Shekpe Killersquad FC being the chief bribers bribed PGMOL, FA and the ref in charge of that United-Westham match) so he could be banned retrospectively and miss important matches so Shekpe and Gayners could have a shot at the title then.

Halsey also wrote in his autobiography, Added Time: “I was in the same boat as Lee Mason that time when Wayne Rooney swore into a TV camera in a game at West Ham.
“No referee would have sent him off for that but Lee came under pressure to report that he hadn’t seen it but would have given a red card if he had seen it.

“That way, as in my case, the FA could take retrospective action.”

Whether the penalty was awarded or not was irrelevant. The Ref didn't think it was pen and clearly even Ferguson wasn't concerned about it.The point is why do you have a manager trying to call off a game 'in game'? Why is the manager then asking for extra time 'in game'? Did Nihilist coin the term 'Fergie Time'? grin
You don't determine what's relevant or not. If you deem it irrelevant, then SAF's asking for a favor is irrelevant too coz it's a legit complaint and requires no sanction which was why SAF will never be queried coz of it.

Then again, you see the hypocrisy in your post? You said that the ref didn't think it's a PK even though it's one, then my question is, why are supporting the gayner rabblerouser? After all, Kokaneprodigy's rants were premised on the fact that the ref is LYING about not seeing the Aguero's incident. "This covers a number of issues, including making direct contact with managers and players, which for integrity reasons is prohibited
."
Hahahahaha. *singing* You don't wanna go down there. So you typed that Halsey texted SA, but in your cunning nature, you discarded the reason for reaching out to SAF? You thought you could swing the argument to your favor by using your stale tricks of cherrypicking words out of context. Lemme, paste the entire reason why Halsey reached out to SAF, and expose your evil intent. tongue grin grin Dude, you messed with the wrong kid!! grin grin

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the real reason behind Halsey's call to SAF. And guess who was the retard_ behind it? You guessed right - our very own Mikel SLOW-obi staying true to the toutish nature that Shekpe KILLERSQUAD FC players and fans truly are, and threatening Clattenburg, a ref. grin grin The embolden is particularly interesting. Don't y'all think? grin grin

the 2012-13 campaign, has, in his book 'Added Time', claimed to have had a good relationship with Ferguson.

The ex-official has revealed how he contacted Ferguson to ask the Scot to support referee Mark Clattenburg, amid allegations that he had racially abused Chelsea's John Obi Mikel -- of which he was ultimately cleared.

In The Sun on Sunday, Halsey also alleged that Mikel said "I'm going to break your legs" to Clattenburg, and the threat led to referees considering a strike.

The Daily Mirror quotes Halsey as writing in his book: "I took matters in my own hands and rang Sir Alex asking him to speak out.

"He agreed and used his Friday press conference to say he could not conceive of Mark saying such things. It helped the situation a great deal.

"It took time to gain Sir Alex Ferguson's respect but in the end we had a very good relationship.

"One thing should be made clear about my relationship with Sir Alex. I may have spoken to him a lot and shared texts but he knew when I crossed that white line there were no favours.

"Players and managers would not respect you if you gave decisions based on friendship."

But the Professional Game Match Officials Limited, which provides match officials for all Professional Football matches played in England, has warned referees against such behaviour.

A spokesman said: "At the beginning of the season all our referees were reminded of the importance of adhering to the PGMOL protocols.

"This covers a number of issues, including making direct contact with managers and players, which for integrity reasons is prohibited.

"Any new publicity will only heighten awareness of adhering to these important PGMOL guidelines."

Nihilist:
The fact that Dermot Gallagher didn't acquiesce Ferguson, does not negate the fact that Ferguson asked for the favour .

Other people did do him favours though. Same Mark Halsey that brought up the Aguero gate row, regularly texted Ferguson and even attended dinner at Ferguson's house as a ref.
And of course nobody can forget Howard Webb.

I don't know what you're trying to deny when even Ferguson admitted that he used to unduly influence referees.

"'The fourth official (against Swansea) on Sunday showed me the board and it said eight minutes. I said, “think again!” - Alex PDP Ferguson.

When even David Moyes was questioning whether Mike Riley was a united fan, you know whats up!

PDP!!!!
Wow!! So you've learned the art of dodging, and you're blaming Raumdeuter of evading questions. So you couldn't show the favor or agree that the opposition bribed the ref to deny us a PK? Instead you are quoting of events that Mark Halsey attended. Maybe Halsey had leprosy and is banned from attending occasions.

Anyway, Aguero has been banned. Get used to it. grin grin
