Now how many years was can when he killed abel? Almost 130yrs
Do you know how many generations there are in 130yrs? Adam and Eve didn't give birth to only cain and Abel. The bible never mentioned that they had only 2 sons, just that cain and abel were key studies

So in 130yrs a lot of multiplication must have gone on

Am not trying to convince u sha, but thinking that the bible was written in chronological order is ignorance. 2 verses of the Bible might be up to 50yrs apart
What you're saying in essence is that not everything that happened was recorded in the Bible, that we could supplement Bible?

I hope you read this:
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Revelation 22:18 KJV

In the book of genesis, it was recorded that God created Adam and Eve. And they were the first being ever created. They had children. Cain and Abel were amongst the children they had.

It was recorded that Cain killed his brother Abel out of jealousy. It was also recorded that God cursed Cain and send him away from the rest of his people. It was recorded that God put a mark on Cain so that anyone that see him will not kill him.

My question now is who are these people that would kill him when Adam and eve were the first creation. Is it there there are other people in the world apart from Adam and Eve?
Na dat one shock you?
OK, what of the fact the Cain married from people that came out of nowhere shocked

See it here:
And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

I am not really an atheist, I believe in supernatural but not inline with Christians and Muslims!
I can't understand why God should use his hand to create man and destined some to hell and some to paradise and talking of paradise and he'll, where are they?
The Allah of Muslims order his followers to be killing and maiming fellow human beings, that is ridiculous to me, while the God of Christians destined everybody that is not aligned with them to everlasting fire!

August is not even sure yet, because according to the blog post, NASU too started their own two month strike last week friday. Which means maybe September or October.
NASU and SSANU are together called JAC and JAC has been on strike since, I think a month after ASUU!
FG is attending to all of them together.

Sinkhole how far? Any news? Make we use hol' body
Nothing will be presented to FEC.
President is not even in Nigeria smiley
But, seriously the whole discussion is at a very advanced stage now, there are some minor things to tidy up between the FG and the Unions.
Ngige said that the FG sides will submit reports to him, latest today. Then they will call the Unions to give them the FG's final resolution, if everything is OK then signing will be done and all will laugh grin

Bandits sack 30 Zamfara communities, issue quit notice to 5 Plateau villages

Daily Trust By Itodo Daniel Sule (Abuja) & Ado Abubakar Musa (Jos)

Member representing Gummi/ Bukkuyum Federal Constituency of Zamfara State, Suleiman Abubakar Gumi, yesterday said bandits had so far in this month sacked over 30 communities in Zamfara State.
He said this while moving a motion on the need for the military to send more troops to the affected areas in the state to quell the rising attacks.
Gumi said recently, bandits attacked several communities in the state, killed 16 people, injured many others, rustled cattle, destroyed property and set police stations and food silos ablaze.
According to him, no day passes without an attack in the area.
He said residents of about 71 villages had fled their homes; while farmers had abandoned their farms for safety.
He said the bandits had imposed levy on members of the communities and asked for ransom money from those they kidnapped.
Similarly, gunmen have given quit notice to residents of Sabon Zama, Gindin Dutse, Anguwan Tsohon Soldier, Anguwan Yuhana and Anguwan Mangu villages in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Pinau, a village 11km away from Wase, has been surrounded by the villages.
Residents said masked gunmen stormed the communities and asked them to either leave within five days or risk a war.
Ubale Pinau, a resident of Pinau, told Daily Trust yesterday that the gunmen threatened to attack the area, advising them to vacate or else face the consequences.
He said many people had started trooping to Pinau and other bigger towns for safety.
When contacted, the spokesperson of Operation Safe Haven, Major Ishaku Takwa, said he was not aware of the quit notice.

Many older people will have problem with their primary school certificates as the record keep culture of Nigerians is really terrible!
If his secondary and tertiary certificates are in order, I see no problem. He could use affidavit for the primary certificate!

I think all these stories of Ekweremmandu being innocent is fallacy and again saying that the donor’s kidney didn’t even match is a big fat lie without any iota of truth in it. What we should know is that before Ekweremmandu accept to spend such money on the boy’s visa, they doctors must have ran a couple of medical tests to ascertain if the boy’s kidney will be compatible with that of his daughter, I don’t see why the writer should say such rubbish. He needs to pay the consequences of his actions. I’m happy for the boy because him go just file for asylum citing the fact that his life won’t be safe again once they allow him to return to Nigeria, the boy don japa
Do you know that Ekweremadu was caught, on his way to Istanbul from England, with £20,000 cash to seek for another kidney from another donor?

casualobserver:
I am not a PDP or Ekweremadu supporter but I have reason to believe Ekweremadu went through the proper channels.

You could argue that Ekweremadu tried to take advantage of a poor boy and offered him a better life in exchange for a kidney. You could argue on the morality of it but it isn’t illegal! They had a deal.

This is what I think happened.

Either the boy scammed Ekweremadu by lying about his age from the start knowing when he gets to the Uk all he has to do is claim to be a minor and get asylum. Or realizing he wasnt a match, the boy realized he had no usefulness and pulled a fast one. From the clothes and his posts on his Instagram page, you could tell he was being taken care of, contrary to his claims to the police that he wasn’t treated well.

I have no doubt there are many people who engage in organ harvesting for rituals and other reasons in Nigeria but the fact that Ekweremadu wrote to the embassy and specifically detailed the nature and purpose of the trip suggests to me this was above board. This does not mean he hasn’t knowingly or unknowingly broken some laws.

The problem for Ekweremadu is that in the UK , children and women are a protected species, it’s their word against yours. Rarely will you win a case against a child or a woman.
Do not worry Bro, this is England and not Nigeria, justice will prevail grin

He might be innocent
Thank God, it is not Nigeria handling the case!
There is document stating that the boy is 21as presented by Ekweremadu but the boy said he is 15.
The organs did not match and they started maltreating the boy, leading to the boy running away and having to report to the British Police.
Whatever the case, it is certain that justice will be carried out!

IPPIS is an infringement on universities’ right to autonomy. Central payroll system cannot work in our universities. No be ministry work o.

Also, there are certain peculiarities which IPPIS does not cater for in the university system. Some of these are sabbatical staff, adjunct lecturers, contract staff, and other academic allowances for working in more than one institution.” this is a global practice.

IPPIS with malicious deductions na wahala. Remember our Accountant General grin
Argument of FG (Ngige) is that approving UTAS for University will mean everybody will start bringing their own platforms, already the University is having two different platforms presented: that obviously is chaos and his argument is logical!
Why can't ASUU fight for the domestication of the IPPIS?

The right person to discuss with ASUU is the minister of education
You're right, and that is why they set up Briggs committee to help them do the talking and they have since finished their talks, unfortunately, the problem of the Universities does not end with just the Education Ministry! There is issue of finance (Ministry of Finance), issue of technicalty of payment platform (NITDA), you can not leave out the National Universities Commission (NUC) out of things like this, and so on. Besides, the whole problem is a labour issue and that is where Ngige comes in!

Which chief negotiator?
Briggs committee is now in charge and not Ngige anymore. FG setup that committee to renegotiate with ASUU and not with Ngige. The committee is to report back to FG.
To ASUU, renegotiate and implement before we call off the strike.
UTAS/ippis wahala still dey o.
Actually, the proper word is, Chief Conciliator.
The Briggs' committee is just a committee set up by the Ministry of Education: they report to the ministry of education and they have since finished their own work.
It is Ngige that will sit all of them down (Education, Finance, NUC, ASUU, SSANU, NASU , NAAT, NITDA, etc) and finalize the agreement and then present to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) for approval.

Exactly!! They are the employee here and FG is the employer so they shouldn't be telling employer how they want to be paid, and telling the public it's for the good of the student .
FG isn't agreeing
ASUU doesn't want to back down
Student are the ones affected.

It's obvious FG doesn't value education, but as an educational body (ASUU) they should understand the effect these unnecessary strike is having on the students and be reasonable to know that FG might not answer all their Demands.
From the info I have o, if FG implement what they approved for ASUU in salary increament, you will see many of them buying new cars soon and I pity some of them that will be kidnapped shocked

At least they should have waited after the election then they can go on strike not now that FG is occupied with elections..
June don de finish .
From what I am even able to gather, FG has already agreed to most of their demands except this their UTAS thing! To me, I think they should just collect their salaries and leave the IPPIS alone!
