Right from the those administering the school directly to the board and to the minister up to the president, they are all southerners.
If these ones feels 80% of new recruits to the school after recruitment process should be northerners then it means the southerners that applied aren't competent enough when compared to their northern colleagues.

You are wrong. Read my first post on this thread. Some people were just appointed through the back-door, North or South. Just that those in power used us as their toys in a game. If you think that we were justly treated, then may you get this kind of justice in your entire life. AMEN

I can confirm that of all of us shortlisted and interviewed for the position of Lecturer Officer 2A (General Studies - Mathematics), not even one person was given appointment. If anyone has been recruited for this position, he was not interviewed for it. That person must have entered through the back door. I am sure and can confirm that we have been contacting one another. Besides, I have been to the school myself to confirm this. You can get few more details on this thread.

I applied for this job and did the interview with a First Class from The University of Nigeria and currently, I am studying for my masters. I was interviewed along with six other people for the position and we know the performance of each other. It may interest you to know that none of the six of us got the offer. We've been contacting each other, and I have been to the school myself to verify that none of us was actually given the job. Now, who and who were given the job and why were we stressed to attend two times test and an interview in Abuja, only for them to fill the positions with ghost applicants?

I think we need to press harder in the school and make the principal officers, starting from the HOD Gen Studies, to know that none of us has been called. There's the possibility of errors and we may miss it entirely if we keep quite. The offices are accessible and we can push hard. I would have stayed back, but I didn't plan to sleep over. If you are closer, think of helping. It will take me approximately 6hrs to get there frm my place besides cost.

Finally I met the man who has the letters. He asked me to call the names and I called all our names and he said that none was there, without bringing out the list or the remaining letters. I insisted on seeing the letters remaining, but he also insisted that he knows the names on the letters. He told me that since he received the 1st set of letters at once he has not received any more. I probed more to know what will be our fate since none of us has been called, as to know whether more letters are expected. His response was not with assurance, as he was not able to give a strong response to that.

In PTI now. Nobody has resumed for Mathematics. There is still hope, but we must pray hard. Politics is playing a big role here.

@Monteriza, Nobody will show you any list in PTI. They are all coding it and even the man with the letters will tell you there is no such list. I gathered the info from those employed in my department but for LO II. From what I heard when i was in the HOD secretary office, I now understand that it is the battle of power. Well I am still hopeful. Even the HOD like I said just told me to pray when i mentioned my class of degree and he stated the criteria for scoring during the interview. But the issue is not interview score or so. One more thing I gathered from some contract staff still awaiting letters, is that they are waiting for six weeks to elapse, so that those who didnt come for the letters will be substituted immediately and Uwie people are agitating for 8 slots, so I heard. I also heard a list will be published in the national newspaper between now and thursday.

Pls a little hint on their scoring method for the interview.

My able comrade in d making, I went to d admin office, d man wz polite, he asked me of my name which I told him.he checked & told me my name isn't among d lucky ones.I wzn't convinced, dat wz wen he brought out d remaining letters like 10 letters & started calling d names on dem one after the other.I asked him if we should still be expecting more letters & he told me dey've dispatched almost 73 letters so far so he can't say anytin on that.I asked him if dere's any Petroleum & Natural Gas dept Lecturer officers among the ones so far, he said he has been giving out letters since on Monday so almost all d dept have collected & dat if dere's any more letters, dey'll contact dem thru' call. Thnk u all for ur support & advice all d while.God will make a way 4 all of us.

He actually asked for your forgiveness. Put this issue behind and face the interview. Remember also that participation in the interview does not mean that you already have the job.

I was called to pick mine as in, someone called my phone and told me to come and pick mine, no courier service, the letters are dated 16th of Feb, and the addresses are on them, (pti letter headed).

Pls, can you tell us exactly where you went to collect it. Just that some of those people whose letters you saw have not been contacted and going there to check may help. I have experienced such before.

Can't be sure, but some positions will definitely have more than one intake. My HOD really hammered us with questions from unexpected areas. God is my strength, so I will have the offer.
