Not my spouse, its actually my Father. His mother [A US citizen] petitioned for him 12 years ago.
I asked because his mother is actually here in naija due to cold but her other children [My Dads siblings] are there in America.

If we answer yes, we can go ahead and use any of his siblings addresses right?

The reference letter from the bank is only applicable and mandatory if you are using a company corporate account. The bank must confirm the signatory to the account. For more info you can check the checklist on Vfs website because this particular information is contained therein.

Those Guys are just using all forms of baseless excuses to deny Nigerians abeg.
Now take a look at the reasons they gave me. This is the second refusal yet its a official business engagement.

First time they said Unverifiable Invite Letter - We approached our Partners in SA who confirmed nobody called or mail them

So we had to get a revised invited letter and boom another story of no flight detail of arrival and departure ports when every was boldly printed out on the flight booking paper Ooooo.

Also. what is the meaning of No reference letter from the bank confirming signatory - After attaching same bank statement as we did 1st time but with a more recent date duly stamped at the bank with balance of over 700Million naira. I thought they always called the banks or where they just lazy?

Why didn't they tick this as basis of refusal the first time?

Anyway, i am not even interested in their business going forward.

These SA folks are one kind.

Applied first in March with a documents and BOOM refusal with excuse of unverifiable invite Letter. Yet the inviting org claims they didn't receive any email nor phone call from the SA embassy.

Okay I reapplied on the 18th April and till date, no word.

I was denied sa visa application on monday and right there and then, i wrote an appeal letter at the vfs,

I was not even given an acknowledgement slip or any thing.

The lady handling it was not even helpful when i asked for a time line for reverting.

Reason for denial was "UNVERIFIABLE LETTER OF INVITATION"

My question is, has any one ever appealed and won it?

You mean the VFS folks collected the letter of appeal from you?
I had a similar case and this same vfs folks told their is nothing like appeal. That I have to pay again and reapply

The rest of you if older than 21 would fall under F1 Family migration If single so at least 7 years wait time from when he files for you.
If married then wait time is 11-12years.

Yea his wife and all of us his kids were added in the form in 2007 when the process started.

We were all single that year.

Based on your being married you're F3 so you have a 13-14 year wait if you check monthly Visa Bulletin

In my case, my father just received his NVS letter since 2007. So we his children now Adults cannot enjoy anything from this now or in the future if his immigrant status is approved?

And we should drop it at the DHL office along with our international passport!

Guys, they are not issuing Visa's for now. Save your cash. Didn't you see the blue copies in its hundreds on their desk and like 2 or 3 white papers?

It's not by you having all its takes anymore. US is not allowing Nigerians.....period!
