I dated my wife officially for 3 years before marriage even as I have known her for nine years or so. We met during my service In Kaduna in 2012. Earlier this year we got married, around June, we moved back to Lagos to start our life as a young couple. Now the issue is that before we got married, her uncle secure a job for her at Airforce base as civilian staff with 40k salary in kaduna as she live and grow up there in KD. I seriously kicked against this job because I stay in Lagos. Now as soon as we move to Lagos after marriage in June ,she reported to work in kaduna the following month hoping to get transfer to Lagos base. The transfer didnt come to success, less she stay put in Kd in her friends house. I am staying alone all through this period. Mind you I also work with Gokada. My wife have left me in disarray. I notice they have less activity going in their school because she stay indoor all through yet she won't listen to my plea to return to Lagos. I notice her sister is supporting her. I think its because I am not financially buoyant enough reason for all this mess in my life. I was promised by her family that after marriage she would be transfer yet nothing happen til now. I am in lag, my wife is in kaduna. Unbearable, at this point I am going places I should not be going. My pals any word of advice on what to do? My heart Is heavy now |
SirWarlock:So basically our lives should be stagnated because of Corona who is not lethal in Nigeria.Do you stay in Lagos?Do you know what pandemic is really is?US alone suffer over 100k plus death due to Corona Pandemic, can you rate that to Nigeria context? See ,we are just deceiving ourselves in this part of the world. The virus is real, accept, but not so lethal in this part of this world.I ply Oshodi to Ipaja everyday, literally amazed at how hoax the pandemic might be in the long run because of the maddening hustles and bustle going on every day,if it's really pandemic,a lot of people would have dropped dead by now on the street.See mate,These at the helm of our affairs are cashing out big time on this, reason for this funny cancellation up and down.Corona has come to stay, let's move on with our lives . |

It is sad that Donald Trump has to withdraw troop from Syria to allow Turkey onslaught agaist the minority Kurdish militas whom have successfully waged war against the ISIL terrorist over the years. Occasionally the Kurdish miliatias have been a trusted ally of US in the fight. Not later that Us leave the north side of Syria that turkey melt Syria border with aerial bombadment and ground onslaught. The reason for Erdogan, turkish president,is to curtail the Kurdish whom have fought effortlessly for Kurdish autonomy in Turkey. So Istanbul fear the worse if Kurdish miliatias advance further. UN, EU and international bodies have rightly condemned the attack. But my worries as an observer is that why would Trump abandoned the Kurds and allow them to be slaughtered by Turkey even after been their ally. Even as Turkey has legimate security claim, it seems now that all the captured ISIS in detention would gain freedom, thereby making this deadly sect to regroup. International politcs is really complicated especially Trump foreign policy. |

calculator123:No punishment only if you stay out if trouble. As you are a deserter, don't claim being a soldier or wear the camo on your body. Once you do that nothing bad happen.just live a normal life devoid of walaha |
calculator123:It is not possible to tender your resignation when you are still young in the service. You can only go for retirement when you serve army for minimum of 13-15 years. Then your entitlement will be paid if you resign willingly. Mind you,if you are not up to retirement age and you want to leave, just desert the army. Leave their rifle, camouflage and id card and disappear into thin air!! |

Hi |
noturbusiness:I will be very honest, I have the passion from childhood. I always like being a soldier. It is a pity the dream died a natural death once I was posted to Maiduguri at the twilight of 2015.I literally served army for 4 years before being ousted by the power at the top.My problem in army is due to pursuit of my degree program.Army do not give room for self sponsored education. It is just a pity but I thank God for everything. |
jmaine:Its plainly due to 13 days AWOL I embarked on in order to write my final year exams. An action I regreted. Not only me,about 100 plus was dismissed on account of desert.Six months no,communication with my loved ones, the reason for going AWOL.At that point in time I expect nothing less than IHL,menial punishment. But alas,we are handed outright dismissal from the service. I don't expect this to have gone to that level judging from the volatile counter insurgency operations going on. |
id4sho:Amen I appreciate. |

And no one knows how many soldiers this 157 BN dismissed in 2016.The fight have not been won yet they keep busy dismissing soldiers. I am a dismissed personnel from that very battalion. Its unfortunate but I give glory to God. |

finiteen:goat? Lol.That is human being roasted like corn beef bro.Its very saddening yet it is a daily occurrence in Nigeria, nay Africa. |
Very appalling |
Food for thought; can a white man do this to his/her fellow white man?Can they stand and sorround a scene of gory mob action like this? In as much as I don't condone criminality, is this scenario also obtainable in white mans land? There is something wrong with black man,Africa as a whole. This is not right in all ramifications. It is about time we have a rethink as a continent. There is a reason for tagging us underdeveloped. These white man came, plunged us,raped our heritage and leaves in pieces. Yet one thing stand tall out of it,black man are really inevitable. I am a black man too,but I can't behave like this.I don't know about you nairalanders.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has again taken aim at Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos for his role in Mohamed Salah's Champions League final injury, insisting he would rather be considered a bad loser than win in the manner of the Spanish centre-back. Salah lasted just 30 minutes of May's Champions League showpiece, trudging off the pitch holding his shoulder, with Adam Lallana replacing him at 0-0.Source livescores. The Egypt international had been involved in a tangle with Ramos a few minutes earlier, an incident which many accused the Madrid man of instigating, as Madrid went on to win 3-1. Klopp was among those to criticise Ramos, accusing him of "wrestling" Salah to the ground – not that the defender was particularly bothered, joking in response that the only thing he had not been blamed for was giving Roberto Firmino a cold. And the Liverpool manager has had another pop at Ramos, adamant he will be happy to "leave this planet" if winning at all costs is the message being sent to children. "I don't want to win by any means," Klopp told Sport1. "Of course, I would have liked to become a Champions League winner, and I would not have returned the title if shown various indiscretions. "I do not expect that [returning the trophy] from him [Ramos], I only expect that he gives more thought to his assessment of certain situations. "It may have been a coincidence, but Salah was taken out of the game during an outstanding phase of his footballing life, in the middle of the field. "Many people will say that these things happen, but if that is the message we are sending to our children, that nothing is out of bounds and it's all about winning, then I will be glad to leave this planet in 40 years. "Am I a good loser? No, but during our preparations we had to talk about Ramos because he had influenced the final the previous year with a dive and a red card [for Juan Cuadrado] against Juventus. "Real Madrid have deserved to win the Champions League, nobody has ever said anything else, but do you have to have those situations with Ramos? No, you don't."
