Bitnob is another alternative
Thanks for the reply.

Is bitnob on Binance too?
I need something on Binance. And does this mean Wecard is non-existent? I thought there was merely a change of name.
Sad!

Hello, everyone..

It's been quite a while since I used the all-in-one card (Wecard) in Binance's marketplace.
I need to buy something on AliExpress and I can no longer find my virtual card there..

Has Wecard become non-existent and what other alternatives do I currently have to buy stuffs on AliExpress with the USDT I have?

Hello..

I've been switching between using my original charger and powerbank since I bought my Redmi 10c not upto a year ago.
Recently, I have touchscreen problems when using the original adapter. If I use my original cord with a different adapter or powerbank the issues stops.
Why is this happening?
I last experienced this kind of thing when I was using Infinix phones which is a loooonnggg time ago and I've forgotten how to troubleshoot this issue

If my charger is now useless, where and how can I get an original charger?

A lot of reasons. But I can't pinpoint it for your case.
Low storage was the reason.
Thanks for the help.
The update was successful

Oh

Free up to 10gb of space and retry again

Reason behind that is insufficient space, you'll have to re-download
Freed up to 10gb of space and used the same file that gave the "couldn't verify update" error and it worked grin

Guess the quest for bigger ROM never ends cry

Grey is just like how PiggyVest. You can convert your naira to euro directly on Grey, that I'm sure of. Converting your dollar to euro, I think you might have to use BDC or Aboki for that.

Nontheless, you should be able to pay your BA with dollar. The platform you use to block your BA money will handle the conversion to Euro themselves; so long as you paid the dollar equivalent of the needed euro (I'm not so sure.. so verify)
OK.. Thanks a lot.
Any idea if there are interest rates for just keeping money in Grey foreign accounts?

Well, I'm not using Fintech to save mine. I prefer opening a domiciliary account once and be done with it. Perhaps you can buy USDT on Binance if you are into crypto. You can also check out Abokifix guys, they have a fintech app called Grey.

'' You can also check out Abokifix guys, they have a fintech app called Grey''

I thought Grey it's just for buying stuffs online with its dollar card eg on AliExpress..
Also does that mean Grey is like an Aboki platform if that makes any sense..
I don't even know what BDC means.

The main goal for me is to be able send money to the blocked account directly with minimal charges.
If I keep using Piggyvest, then at some point I'd have to convert my dollars to Naira, then buy Euros to fund my BA..
But if I can find a way to convert my dollars directly to Euros that will be in my BA, I'd love that.

They already believe you download it from a Third party website
I don't get..
So if I can't update from the updater app, and try updating manually via a ROM I downloaded online (which by the way ultimately redirected me to Miui's "bigota-whatever" website), it won't still work?

1. Go to your preferred bank and ask them to open a Euro domiciliary account for you.
2. Find out the necessary documents you need to provide to open such account from the bank (different banks can request for different stuff)
3. Once your domiciliary euro account has been created, convert the BA money you're saving in Naira to Euro

You can buy Euros from:

- BDC guys
- Aboki
- Fintech Apps like Grey,
- From a trusted family/friend residing in Europe (you can transfer your naira to their Nigerian naira account and they'll, in turn, send the euro equivalent to your domicillary account.)
- Other means...

The koko is to convert that BA money you're saving in naira to Euro as fast as possible. (You don't even need to have your complete BA money before you start saving in Euro)

4. Now that you have Euro, transfer that money to your domiciliary account.
5. Once you've gotten AD, fund your BA from your Euro domiciliary account with ease.
Hello..
I occasionally save money in Piggyvest, but I just realised they charge a whopping $20 to transfer anything from $150 - $10000

Do you know any cheaper alternatives in dollars?
Given it's readily available than Euros and it will be less stressful than opening a domicillary account.
And with this alternative I should be able to send money directly to Fintiba or Expatrio directly (with minimal or no charges)

Strange. Do a ₦500 hourly plan on Airtel or MTN depending on which is faster in your location and share a hotspot to your phone and try the OTA.
OK

So downloading over WiFi is more reliable?

Click on the update and share the screen of the MIUI Version Xiaomi wants you to update to. And also you need to free up a lot of memory, you are walking on dangerous grounds.

"Current about page"??
You mean "About Phone"

No were did I say updating manually entails unlocking bootloader.

download the ROM in question from miuirom.org. ensure you are downloading the right ROM. Also you ensure downloading with a download manager like 1dm+ or ADM

After downloading do the below

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12/13 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

I downloaded the file as instructed from miuirom.org.
But in installation, I got this "unofficial package" error message.
The file I downloaded was about 3.4gb

So what's the benefit of keeping/saving the Euro with the bank vs if I just left the money on the fintech app I bought it?

It has been preached here severally if you have a large update and your network is unstable get a link, download manually and install manually. The instructions on how to update manually have been posted on this thread a lot of times.
OK.. Thanks a lot..

I'm not used to following the unconventional method..
For example, when I see posts with things like "unlock bootloader", I just skip undecided

Do you mind sharing a reliable source where I can find a stable rom for my phone?

Hello..
I need help, please.

About some months ago I tried installing the update, but anytime I try to download it, the download just stops at some point, sometimes @30% sometimes @40%..
I don't even leave the updater screen while downloading, yet the issue persisted.
It made me lose interest in installing the update, thinking it was a temporary issue.

But I've recently tried to update and I'm still experiencing the same shit.

It's no longer funny cos I just waste GBs of data for nothing.

Is there are a safe alternative to update my phone?

It will only get worse next year. It might reach 30 million by next year. To escape the unavoidable next year, open Euro domicillary account and save your money therein. Delay is dangerous.

Helloo..

Regarding the blocked account & visa, is the money to be converted at black market rates or CBN rates?

I heard the blocked account only has to contain money for a year, even if your program lasts more than a year. Assuming a year has elapsed, do you need to create another blocked account? How else can one show proof of funds?

There's a new virtual card in Binance marketplace section called "All-in-one card".

It's very convenient for anybody with a Binance account.

You can fund the virtual card directly from your Binance account at zero cost and the only fee is a 2% charge for card top up.
