what is your current charge cycle? as a rule of thumb if after 20 cycles the voltage difference still hasnt corrected it self (0.005 or close) then either you open it up and do further investigation on each cells or seek warranty.

Sadly bassed on my experience with HenryLife, most chinese lifepo4 battery seller in Nigeria dont take customer support serious

Please does this mean that the cell in red is bad because since I bought it I have been experiencing this I thought after long usage it will auto balance and work like the others

but an inverter technician can build or modify one for you if you willing to pay the price. OR just buy am online. Me no fit buy such as I need also consider cost of maintanenance. Make I no go get wetin na only me get for the entire Lagos + Ogun state join

You can use it but it's strictly solar for charging your batteries since it has no lithium parameters

A friend sold me his old 1.2kva luminous eco volt inverter because he’s upgrading…his batteries are dead so I only got the inverter..

I dont like this tubular batteries and one installer said I can’t use lithium battery with this 1.2kva inverter that I will have to get another inverter….

So what do you think?

Can’t I truly use this inverter with lithium battery? I plan to charge more with solar panels though and perhaps once in a while use the grid since the inverter can charge battery….true at the back of the inverter,,no selection for lithium battery….

Series náà. If it is 2 panels. But if you want to add more panels it has to be parallel

Please what is the best way to connect two 650watt solar panels to a 12v system currently connected in parallel thinking of changing to series to reduce stress on cables but I feel that current might exceed the 20% spike during cold weather. charge controller is 60amps with maximum voltage of 135v, PV cable is 2by8 10mm copper cable. Some people online have been using Huawei rectifiers without PVDU - check online. I'm looking into it. These industrial products seem to be more resilient than normal consumer-level stuff.

You are right about using Huawei rectifier without pvdu most are generator and grid supplied but once you initiate solar you need pvdu except another rectifier has been produced that I haven't seen no offence intended just speaking because it's what I've been doing also you are very right about industrial products

This is solar module removed from a telecommunications equipment room it is normally inserted inside a device called pvdu I don't think you can use it unless you get a complete device box

Concerning cable I have prepared 25mm to be used in connecting the bms, 2by 10mm awg will be used from panel to a 50amps breaker would have used a 63amps breaker but charge controller is 60amps

When buying cells, ask the seller to balance the cells for you before shipping. If not done by the seller, fully charge the cells in series and reconfigure again in parallel for few hours or days to naturally balance out without the help of an adjustable charger.

You are on point especially top balancing currently facing top balancing issue because getting a good DC adjustable power supply is vary hard pls where did you get your battery casing can you post the link thank you

This is what I came up with. Thanks to everyone who helped me decide.

My thoughts on DIY Lithium
1. It is stressful. Only embark if you do not mind the stress. It is NOT a walk in the park.
2. You must know basic electricity principles. If you do not know how to check for continuity with a multimeter, it may be best for you not to continue. Read well and research before embarking.
3. First builds come with mistakes (I did not top balance, so my BMS is currently being overworked. Thinking of opening the case to charge some cells individually. Tips will be appreciated).
4. If you do not already have tools and materials from other projects, it may NOT be cheaper than buying, for the first build. I could cut down costs because I had materials from other projects e.g. 250A MCCB.
I cheaped out on the terminals; I used the hanger that came with the electric cabinet.
5. It is FUN and you will learn a LOT - wiring, behavior of materials, tools, etc. Subsequent builds will be much faster.
6. Before you use cheaper materials, do your research o. I abandoned the wooden box I created and went for metal after suggestions on this thread, because this is my first LFP build. Mrreed and Valto can use wood because they are experienced and have some design secrets first timers do not have. Safety first, if you are a first-timer.
7. Double-check everything. I went through all the screws again before deploying, only to find out two were not well tightened.
8. Youtube videos from foreigners are mostly useless when it comes to procuring materials. A lot of the things they have there, we do not have or are difficult to source (e.g. fire-resistant cement case and fire-resistant graded wood). Seek local threads for guidance.
9. Eat well before embarking. Drilling and cutting are not easy.
10. Stop working whenever you are tired, before you drill or cut yourself.

I'm in a dilemma, let me start like this, when i and my husband first got married we did a joint business that fetched us a huge amount of money, the aim was to build a house, when we got the money, he decided to use his' for his parents (i had no problem with that) then mine for what we wanted to use it for

Two weeks ago we had a major misunderstanding, it was soo intense to the extent that he told me to park out of the house, in the heat of things i told him that cannot be possible that the house is in my name, he was shocked, saying it is impossible we built it together that it's in his name, i had to remind him what happened then, he was furious saying it was wrong of me to use my name, that he cant believe he has been staying in a house that does not belong to him, he told his family what i did claming victim, then he packed out saying he wont come home till i change the name to his full name, i begged him to no avail, i dont even know how to tell my people, imagine if it was in his name, i and the kids would have been out of the house by now, he has requested for transfer from his office to another state cos of this, who does that?? He cant expect me to change it to his name.

Pls i need other advise to go about this, he is a good man but he feels his ego has been bruised, i need other options.
