Nigerian former Min. for Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has slammed former Jigawa state Gov. Sule Lamido for criticising former Pres. Olusegun Obasanjo over his statement on the Islamization of Nigeria and West Africa.

Former Pres. Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday released a statement lamenting the current situation in the country especially the deadly activities of Boko Haram and Herdsmen.

The former Pres. hinted that the problem has grown beyond Nigeria as there are plans to Islamize Nigeria and West Africa.

—Anglican Church in Abia state dismissed 4 gay priests after investigation concluded they are gay.

An Anglican Church in the Diocese of Isiala- Ngwa, Abia state sacked 4 priests after they found out they practiced homosexuality.

The four priests are;

1.Rev. Canon Emmanuel Nwankwo

2. Rev. Kelechi Nwachukwu

3. Rev. Sunday Azubuike

4. Rev. Chris Achonye

The letter of dismissal partly reads, “the decision was reached by the Diocesan board following a proper recommendation and investigation submitted by the panel of enquiry who found them guilty of homosexual practices.”

The letter was signed by signed by Rt Rev Temple O.Nwaogu, PHD, Bishop Diocese of Isiala Ngwa.

Zinedine Zidane has threatened to leave his job at Real Madrid if the management interferes in any of his player choices at the club.

Zidane who made a return to the club during the course of the season was making reference to goalkeeper selection issues when he was handing out this quit threat.

The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu on Wednesday said President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection was a clear proof that no man, but God gives power.

Akiolu, who stated this when participants of the Senior Executive Course 41 of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, visited him in his palace in Lagos said Buhari got his second term mandate from God through the people of Nigeria.

Paul Pogba has marked Ramadan, the Islamic holy fasting with a trip to the pilgrimage city, Mecca.

The 26-yr-old has made the trip at the end of each of the last two Premier League campaigns.

Pogba who could be on his way out of Old Trafford soonest was joined on the trip by Everton’s Kurt Zouma.

The Frenchman posted pictures from the holy city with the caption: “Never forget the important things in life.”

Zainab Aliyu, a Nigerian student who was recently released from Saudi Arabia prison after proveing her innocence over alleged drug drafficking offence has spoken on her ordeal while in detention.

iDONSABI reports that Zainab and Ibrahim Abubakar were in detention for the crime they knew nothing about.

Popular music act, Davido has reacted to the release of the indigenous rapper, Zlatan Ibile, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Zlatan Ibile was released from EFCC’s custody alongside 4 others arrested on Friday over allegations of fraud.

The anti-graft agency has confirmed that Zlatan and his cohorts were released on administrative bail, while the evidence against Naira Marley was overwhelming enough not to grant him bail.

Reacting to the situation, the ‘IF’ crooner celebrated Zlatan’s release and urged him to go back to making history.

The video of a Nigerian man, nabbed by a CCTV recording of him stealing a generator has gone viral as it surfaced on the internet.

The man in the video that has gone viral on social media was seen in a compound, which appeared as if no one was home at that time.

The man looked around his environment for a few minutes before embarking on his dastardly act of making away with the generator in the compound.

After surveying the environment and confirming that the coast was clear, he burst open the locked generator house and carried the relatively big generator into a sack he came with to the scene of the operation.

According to the people watching the footage from the CCTV, the man is likely to be one of the scavengers that scavenge for scraps in the area.

A report yesterday had made it known that Ekiti State Government led by Dr. Kayode Fayemi is set to construct an airport in the state.

However, the construction of the airport has been put to question as to whether it was necessary since there are some airports in the South West where Ekiti is that is under utilized.

Nigerian Film director, Dami Taiwo cried out as people houses are being demolished in Fowoseje community, Lakowe Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.

Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has advised that traditional rulers in Nigeria should be given constitutional roles to protect their traditional institutions.

This reaction comes after the Kano State House of Assembly passed a bill curtailing the powers of the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II and the bill was signed by Governor Umaru Ganduje.

Shehu Sani is of the belief that traditional rulers are being controlled by politicians as a result of non-institutionalization of their powers in the constitution.

He also pointed out that traditional rulers are compelled to campaign for politicians during election or face the consequence of being ejected from their thrones.

The other was played by Idowu Phillips popularly known as Iya Rainbow. According to a latest report, the Pres. Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government has today inaugurated the Board of the North East Development Commission.

The Board according to the rules establishing it will be in charge of receiving and managing funds allocated by the Federal Government and international donors for the resettlement, rehabilitation, integration and reconstruction in the North Eastern Part of the country.

Also the Board will be in charge of tackling tackling the menace of poverty, illiteracy, ecological problems and any other related environmental or developmental challenges in the North East.

The six states under the care of the board include Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe.

According to reports emanating from Buckingham Palace, London, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has gone into labour.

According to the statement released by the Royal Palace, Meghan went into labour “in the early hours” of Monday morning.

Her husband, Prince Harry was reported to have gone in with her.

The expected baby will be seventh in line to the throne, behind the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and his children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – and the Duke of Sussex.

If Alexis Sanchez had remained in Arsenal, both Man Utd and Arsenal would have qualified for TOP FOUR.

I know the statement above is enough for those with great brains unless you're a truth hater but let me extend my explanation for the sake of those with low level of understanding so keep on reading if the above short and precise statement isn't enough for you.

As known by the entire world, Alexis was Arsenal's hitman and his departure came with an expected weakness to the entire team performances. Contrarily, his arrival at Old Trafford didn't go on as expected as Alexis became a fourth player to fail in the most famous and much decorated figure 7 after Valencia, Di Maria and Memphis Depay failed to live to the expectations while in the same figure, I can't talk about the shortest spell of Michael Owen in the same figure because he did his best in those few days specifically in the derby.

Alexis' career didn't go right at Manchester United which most football analysts blame on the playing style and the number of recurring injuries against the Chilean.
However, Alexis subsequently became the top earner at Manchester United and EPL at large after his signing in January 2018 and this prompted the already available Manchester stars in the name of Pogba and David De Gea. Failure of Alexis to deliver on the pitch made the duo to step up for the renewal of their contracts with good terms more than or the same like that of Alexis because they felt that they were doing much and getting less which is an opposite to what Alexis does in the same jersey.
It didn't just end there but the likes of Ander Herrera whose contract is expiring in the summer also asked for both big money and lengthy contract which Manchester United didn't comply with and this is finally resulting into his departure. Let me not talk about the other boys who want to be rich when they are just kids.

To shorten it, all these contracts stalled because players need to be paid more than Alexis because they are simply doing better than Alexis which the club can't afford to do. When the club adminstration felt reluctant toward their demands, their minds remained unfocused in the game. The typical example of this is De Gea, he has had the worse season of his life so far and it's because his mind is not right in the game. They failed to act professionally both on and off the pitch which led to the death of team spirit among the players followed by subsequent drop in results.

Alexis' departure at Arsenal and his arrival at Man Utd weakened both teams considerably.

This doesn't need you to sit in the class in order to understand, it's a matter of applying a common sense.
