There is a demon behind every addiction. The only way is Jesus.
Reading the bible with your heart alone can cast some of these spirits out.
The only way is to pray for him.
Another religious idiot spotted
Who told you the only way to stop addiction is jesus?
Go to developed country and see hw therapy work wonders.
All Africans know is to direct everytin to jesus.

I will blame the parents. This is the height of bad parenting, So your child is studying in a University for 4 years and you don't think its important to visit the child at School. You didnt care to ask for their result, or receipt for every payment, even after seeing receipt, you should even verify.

here are things every responsible parent should do
1. Visit your in school at least 4 times a year
2. Pay surprise visits on weekends
3. Have their time table so you can easily predict where they are having lectures and pay them a visit during lecture (though I wont advise you go in to look for them, It can be embarassing)
4. Have people that can help you monitor them , be careful you are not putting them in wrong hands
5. Have someone old and responsible like a fatherly or motherly figure they can be accountable to, this has its own disadvantage too, you just
6. Call them often especially at night, you can easily track whether they are in or out
7. Be friendly with your children, give them some flexibility to express themselves

Nairaland indeed is filled with kids. The guy gave and went to social media. Everybody praised. Others prayed. Some abused. I patiently waited to see all the comments but one mention made me want to cast this guy.

That stuff he is doing is called osole. Osole is a ritual that is done by so called g-boys who dont want to do the killing or the pussy wipe with hanky. They dress like one prominent person. Then they go out and share food to the needy. Thereafter they return with the plates or anything from the given to the jazzman. That one now sacrifices a pig and makes a concoction with what he brought. The concoction is dried and turned into soap . that's what he uses to bathe until he hammers. (If he hammers...gullible mofos)

That FAM is what he did. Everything that glitters is not gold.

Op accuse the guy with this fact and see his reaction.

Dont ask me how I know....its my job grin
D babalawo still told him that e should show d world abi?

ur spiritual level is also low. If she told her husband and his faith is not strong enough to accommodate the move what do u think wil Happen? He wil stop her frm obeying the divine instruction and deny her the blessing God prepared for her at that point.

As for carrying responsibility, leave that for God and see hw marvelous God is. Spiritual obedience comes with a cost bt the end product is glory
Who be dis one

If my wife ever try that rubbish after warning that will be the last time she would be seen in my house. Nonsense

JONNYSPUTE:
. Try to understand that after the traditional marriage, you must take ur wife home to ur village at least just for a night or two. Nobody is telling him to live in the village. Its the tradition. The old mans advice is not out of place,he knows the son can do it,he wants to remove shame from the guys place. How will ur in-laws look at you that after marrying their daughter, you don't even ve a hut to sleep in,in ur father's house? Well, people differs, like I said,he can do what ever he wants. But the man has advice him as a father.
So because of a night or 2 I should build a house in the village?
Do you know if them guy is interested in starting his life with his new wife in the village?
Or he should buy the house spend a night or 2 because of tradition, then go to town and build another house where e would most likely spend more then half of his year on earth?

Your father is right. After your traditional wedding, where will u sleep with ur wife? In a hotel I guess? Look Mr man, your father knows you re capable of putting up even if its a 3 bedroom bungalow in your village. What that old man is seeing sitting, you can't see it even if you re on top of an iroko tree. Do as he said Nd you will thank him later.
And wat makes u tinks he wants to live in the village?
And don't give me that shit of wat a old man sees sitting down u cant see climbing on top of an iroko tree. That's total nonsense.
Old age does not mean u are wise.

I'm getting frustrated with the condition my father is giving me before I finally settle down. I will be 34 years this 2018 and would have married (with 2 or 3 kids by now) since but my dad gave the excuse that he didn't like the girl.

I am the first son of 5 children, I am paying the school fees of the last child who is in med school. I have found me a wife whom I have planned getting married to by April.

Now my dad is insisting that since we don't have a home in the village that I should build one before getting married else he won't come for my wedding and will disown me.

I have already told him that I will build after my wedding but he refused.

What should I do? Going ahead with this building will make me call-off my wedding till December or Next year. What should I do My People I need Expert Advice on this.
My father threaten me with disown for a stupid reason.
E should go ahead who give a damn abt that.
Wat nonsense.
As old as u are, ur father is still making decisions for u.
After you build the house e will still tell u wat u should do for him b4 u give birth otherwise e will not acknowledge d child as his grandchild.
Better go ahead with ur life

bros, I know our religious leaders have failed in their respective duties but that is not enough for me to deny the existence of God.

I don't even attend church that much. Last year was not even up to 10 times but I will never become an atheist.

When I say prayer, I don't even kneel to pray but there is this inner connection I indulge in when I ask God for help.

Funny enough my prayer is just 3 words, repeated 3 times and it end there. I say this words when I need help and I say it wherever and whenever the needs arises. I might be walking along the road and say it.

This is to give you another perspective to this Church, religion ish...

I say these words because I know I have no one or brother anywhere that can help me. It is just me and my life.

Now where majority of religious zealous Nigerians make mistake and what separates people like me from them is that I have sought wisdom in learning many things that can add value to my life.

So all I need to do is ask God to direct me using my already acquired knowledge.

What the OP of this thread shared is a lesson many of us have learned from over 10 years ago and we have been using it to sustain ourselves. Many of the products most you purchase anywhere in Nigeria are from member of my circle.

What the guy stated can be found in the Bible to some extent where "wisdom" is talked about. We use leverages but it is not easy for many of us as there are times we do not get what we hope for but our lives is somewhat not as bad as the larger population so much that we can't count 100k...

So what I talked about in my maiden post is that I looked at my circle and realise that everybody is doing same thing and I wanted to stand out. Everybody is using method and this often lead to neck breaking saturations.

This led me to what I am working...
So it began.

I wanted something that is long term (many of the guys in my circle often jump from one post to another)

I wanted something that is good enough to test my patience (I am forking freaking impatient idiot) as I was willing to build a brand name for myself. Trust me, you don't want to know what I have been through

I wanted to stand out.

I wanted something that will pay me at least 1Millon naira per deal after everything is done and the most important is I wanted it to be recurring.

You don't want to know what it feels like re-evaluate yourself and go for it as I wanted to do all these offline. Just imagine.

Trust me when I say I know stuff but I wanted more and in a different angle entirely where I had no single connection to make this happen. I am an introvert and you know the life of an introvert as they don't mix with people much and how does such a person succeed offline and add to the fact that I am even in a new environment where I don't know much people beyond the less than 10 I interact with.

I had to ask God for wisdom... And within the less than 10 people I interact with I got a connection.

This is where you can exchange your knowledge /wisdom for your weakness.

I do hope you understand. I am not a fanatic that current Nigerian pastors have turned almost everyone in Nigeria into where people believe all they have to do is pray and do nothing else. I just get out of bed and get going. I pray when I feel like.

God already laid the law that WORK so that you can feed. No amount of Nigerian pastors sermon can make ignore that. And that is why no matter your religion or believe, if you work hard with leverage, you will most definitely hit a jackpot.... The law is irreversible as it is set on motion already.

Happy New Year
Dope
Good to know men like u are still out there.
Happy new year to u also

even though I don't like the tone under which that guy spoke, which portrayed him as a fanatic, which is what many Nigerians are BTW, I can attest to one fact that they when I am pushed to the wall, all I have to do is ask God for help... and He always never failed, include the idea I have been working on in the last 6 months. It came as a surprise so much that I gave it my all and have been chasing this thing that could almost explode in mid 2018 and beyond. I can never reveal what is but the idea makes me so determined that I am fighting to see the end results, no matter the failure.
