'well if christianity is a sham or there is not heaven or hell'' all i can say is  THEN WHAT DO WE HAVE TO LOOSE? WHAT IS SO WRONG WITH TRYING TO BE A DECENT HUMANBEING?  from what i have taken from christianity, if i try to live my life in the way it says i should then this question the thread raises should say to anyone =IF IT IS A SHAM WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOOSE HENCE WHY NOT!

Yes i strongly agree, try, hard as it maybe, you friend should not deny the child his father, she should try not to look at it as being for him, rather for her child. Your friend knows him for the unreliable so and so that he is , and it is not for her to tell her child this about the father,. Trust me in time, if this guy continues to be unreliable, his child will grow to see for himself and then decide if he wants his father in his life or not.

She should try and swallow her pride, do away with the hurt and anger, it is not easy but she must try . She at the end of the day knows he is a no gooder, and now that she has her life on track , she should just tell him not to dare expect her to fall into his arms, he can look after his child but she must tell him where to go regarding him and her.

I see your point sha! but you can't hold her accountable for what goes on in America, besides that woman reports on many issues in America, she is the last person to be call Biased or hypocritical. Take for instance the row some years back when Oprah had a show about the harm beef was doing to the health of Americans and she raised doubt over some methods by farmers in breeding livestock, there was a revolt against her by many cowboys you know the ones with big money and big guns , anyway they tried to sue her but she won in the end. She also had a show which i really admired her for, opening the world's eyes to the ills of perverts who molest children all across America and dedicated her show to naming and shaming and also even gave reward for people coming out to name those who raped them when they were young and because of this show , many perverts are locked up, now that's more than Bush's Administration could muster.

One would think southerners either had no religion or culture or chose to observe lax rules based on them. Our constitution SPECIFICALLY classifies us as a secular nation irrespective of religion. Why have northern states chosen to enact sharia law as a state religion in clear defiance of the constitution and gotten away with it?

well this is what i was saying earlier, this mess can be dealt with, the federal govt has to find a way of having one law in our country, they can not simply fold there arms becos they dont want to upset the applecart. The Hadith should have no place in federal law, or the judicial system, no religion should play a part in the country's goverance. and justice system. where we have a north functioning in a different mode can not work for the safety of all nationales,  ppl have to know that when you commit a crime you will be punidshed by the govt, not Imams or Bishops.
