life! i love Emeka, he could improve the site, but i like what i see so far, he can only build it up from here. Just wanted to say this not to be bad, but we are not English men and women. we are Africans , he has a mother tongue and his English is reasonable, as long as he can be understood. You will never here anyone say to a French man, why is your English so bad etc, he is no intellectual like the many people we have on NL . The brother has done well for himself, lets learn to build ourselves up instead of tear down, Indians were colonized by the Brits , we don't hear they crucifying one another for ''bad english'' instead they make sure their first language their kids learn is Urdu or whatever. All these snobbery among black Africans is quite sad.once again it's ok if you are not his fan but lets not take everything from a man and fail to give credit where it is due. I AM A FAN |

LOL SEUN I THINK I KNOW WHAT HE MEANS. i think it also depends on the person feeling the disrespect, is it that they guy suffers from low self esteem, or maybe he is not as educated and then takes any thing from her as 'disrespect'? or is it the case of some educated women , of higher status , actually undermining men (they involved with) ? well some women are quite aggressive with education too. Some are not disrespectful, the really educated ones, those who are down to earth and know the value of maintainting a healthy relationship with men are not rare. @topic i think some men run away cos they find them too aggressive, unapproachable,and cold. truth be told some educated and career driven women are quite ruthless becos they have been conditioned to be that way due to the sort of environment they work (mainly male dominated, ego driven) . So in a way i can not begrudge them their Independence and strength. I tell you what i respect, a woman who is educated, with a career and knows also how to look after her family. i don't think we should just say most educated women are like this, rather i think it's those who have a sole aim of battling it out in the world of ''men''(not my phrase, pls ask James Brown oh) that push things to the extreme and forget or should i say loose all their charms as women. which ultimately sends men running for the hills. |

lmao you guys are not serious lol, as for the ireland thing , na wah i hear thesame things too, anyway i am @poster you know you say wifey material is scare, i know that husband material is scare too in London, many guys are going to Nigeria to get married , i wonder what is happening. Anyways , i think part of the problem is the fact that many girls/women have been very silly in relationships, the ridiculous high and unrealistic expectations have left many single and old lol. I know of one old friend like that, she used to say oh she wants this , this and the other, and now that she has landed back to earth those same dudes are the ones she is running after, but unfortunately they not interested. Plus so many Nigerian girls/ women are so not wife material, they come here and forget things like morals and family life, they want to do as the romans do so to speak , but it is not paying them . The way some girls carry themselves, speak and act is so disgusting i dont really blame some guys for going with white women, atleast even if they don't get pounded yam and egusi on a regular they still get some amount of respect. |
