The problem right now is that those teens are messing up serious discussions with their brain dead interjections. Maybe some people should pass an IQ test before posting in certain subforums grin
100% agree with you. All you see is abuse, fights, swearing . You can never have a discussion without ppl being personal. It is shameful and really sickening. But wait, you think they all teens? nah nah nah , some are over twenty and look way older than me yet they act all child like. Its a joke

a real passionate , loyal and upright person. Love this sister , she is very intelligent, takes no prisoners and very grounded. She is one of those people you meet and what you see is what you get, no dancing about with this one, she serves the truth cold but effective. You really are a gem here and people don't know this yet. Trust me they hear you wink

Babyosisi
ayayaya this woman is not easy, she seems cantankerous but she got a heart of gold, I love your ability to say sorry . Love her Igboness, her strong grip on tradition and values make me smile

Where in the entire thread did she say ANYTHING about sleeping with the guy befor hand?

I swear you people just give ridiculous advice that has NOTHING to do with the topic. What is she saying and what are you talking about? Someone is talking about her fiance having a kid outside their relationship and you are talking about her having premartial sex.

Stop making stupid assumptions.
thiefofheart
no need to hyper ventilate over another person's issue darling , for starters you not the poster, not married, never been married, not even engaged, don't have children, still under 24? what exactly qualifies you to shut all these good people down when then come offering their advice?
''other people's shoes'' is very much at play here honey, if you were so experienced in life , you won't say otherwise. Anyway this topic is not about you , why don't we just see how others can help this woman uhm? wink

*whispers quietly* Bishop gave very good advise actually, don't blow a gasket cos you don't agree luvvie

i feel for you. do not rush to any rash decisions, you still know him more than we do here. You guys need to sort it out quick. I dont think he would be marrying you if he didnt love you or want to be with you. i think he just got scared he'd loose you that's why he kept it quiet. Listen he has proably had lots of problems with girls becos of the baby issue, i think he loves you and does want to loose you, anyway instead of running around you need to do some talking asap, forget us here, we aint in your shoes, go sort your man, try and forgive him and have your own life with him.
My cousin had a baby with a girl years back and when he met his now wife , he kept it secret cos he was scared she'd run, he loved her so much. They had a year or so of problems and had to build on the trust, they even had to prolong their engagement , i know to you its like deceit but be fair , didnt this whole baby thing happen before he met you? come on forgive him. Don't loose the man you love and am sure loves you cos of this,

Babs,I know you're hot headed,I've been accused of same and now I want to lead you to a better way. smiley
Babyosisi has decided to heed the advise of sisimose and a few others and is vowing to stop the mudslinging.

I sincerely apologise for hurting your feelings and disrespecting your prophet and your beliefs.
I know that I will never understand why Islam advocates that apostates of Islam and a Christian who touches the Koran be killed.
Or why a group of people can rise up and slaughter their neighbors who did them no ills all in the name of zeal.
I may never understand why that teacher in Gombe was stripped naked beaten and burnt to death while the people chanted allahu akhbar or why hundreds of churches are burnt down continuosly and the voices of the Muslims are not raised to condemn these acts.

I may never understand why an Imam would incite his listeners to kill and blow themselves up for the sake of religion or why the rampage that killed my relatives started on a Friday as the worshippers rushed out of a mosque, what was the sermon?
You and others have never been able to tell me why women and non Muslims in Muslim countries are second class citizens in their own land and yet Muslims want equal treatment in the west or why Muslims would complain of injustice from the west and turn a blind eye when a sunni beheads a shitte.

I do not hate Muslims,I hate no one but there are yet very many questions and I am not alone.
If indeed, you preach peace, don't let your voices be drowned by the violent ones.
Put yourself in our shoes and understand why we are not happy with the senseless violence and torture.

Let true peace, democracy and freedom reign, that's what makes us higher than animals.

muki,I hope you are cool with me now smiley smiley

While we are busy extending a handshake, Hamas has revoked its 5 month old truce with Isreal, Iran is busy feeding uranium into its nuclear reactors ostensibly to build a nuclear weapon capable of reaching Jerusalem and supporter of APC fighters are still busy obliteratiing what is left of Darfur.

It takes two to tango. It is impossible to have a handshake with oneself. Pragmatism and not false handshakes is what the world needs now. The US did not win the 2nd world war by having a handshake with Germany.
While we hide under the veil of al-taqqiya and political correctness, the future of our children lies in the hands of those who are sworn to our destruction.

Long may al-taqqiya reign!
pls david ALLOW THE THREAD SERVE ITS PURPOSE, WE KNOW ABOUT THE TROUBLES IN THE WORLD, WHY NOT START A THREAD ABOUT HAMMAS? EVEN IF THERE IS WAR OUT THERE, WE HAVE HERE A SISTER WHO WANT SOME MOMENT OF PEACE ON NL , HOW CAN U BEGRUDGE THIS? angry

davidylan:
This false peace is akin to that described in the bible as a sign of the last days.

I see it merely as an opportunity for some to assuage their consciences and for those who require the cover of deciet to carry out their nefarious activities in the name of "god". Jesus did not go around having handshakes with those selling pidgeons in the temple, he flogged them out with canes!
David after reading this thread, yioou mean you actually still had the heart to type this? why spoil a good thing? keep things in perspective, we not talking the whole world Babyosisi had a reason for this thread let it serve the PURPOSE!
I REALLY AM A SHAMED OF THIS , CONSTANT HATE, FIGHT, SLANDER, NEED TO PROVE YOU ARE BETTER THAN THE VIolent MOSLEMS IS REALLY NOW LOOKING SHODDY. All respect i had is gone.
Hate begets hate, you no better than the one armed imam screaming kill the infidels, only difference is you have a bible ,
the way not all bible toting, verse quoting people are true christians is thesame way not all Koran toting, Allah akbar screaming person is a true moslem

I am so pissed off this thread has been turned into more attacks on other ppl(moslems) . hope you know christians killed christians in many parts of europe, and still do . How will you explain IRA? nuff said i am going. getting sick of this whole thing.

Thread was created to gain common ground for discussions with the person babyosisi mentioned and before the person has even had a chance to contribute the place has been turned to a bull ring.

Christianity EtcRe: What If Christianity Was A Sham? by sisimose(f): 8:22pm On Apr 26, 2007
Why do you assume that you have nothing to loose by choosing Christianity, when as a matter of fact you do have something to loose: time spent worshipping, money you give to the church and your afterlife if another religion turns out to be the right one.
On top of that, the moral code of Christianity isn't always very clear, it can inspire you to do wonderful things, but on the other hand, it can also be used to justify inhumane debasement.
IF indeed its a sham then what good to you is the money you gave to any organized religion WHEN YOU ARE DEAD? they way i see it i could spend that money on anything that gives me pleasure and giving to God or the cause gives me pleasure, i could also use that money to shove drugs up my nose, again if that is what gives me pleasure in this life then who is anyone to say it had been a waste?

i stand by what i say i have absolutely nothing to loose, i am not here convincing you or any one to join my belief, what you believe is your business.

you right about one thing though, yes you don't have to be a Christian to be a decent human being, i meant to edit that but got sidetracked, there are many decent ppl who have other beliefs.

i wont ever attempt to convince you to join my faith, my faith is personal and precious to me, call it selfish but i don't believe in ramming the faith in ppl's ears

As for this topic i like it very much and stick to what i said ''WHY NOT? I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO LOOSE, ''
FashionRe: Why Do Women Of African Descent Relax/perm Their Beautiful Hair by sisimose(f): 8:11pm On Apr 26, 2007
Londoner

nice tip thanks . I wonder though huh would it not make your hair split ? it may soften it but i fear it will make it so soft and break. Tell you why i say this, i was on holiday and didnt pack my shampoo, i bought a european one( l'oreal) and , '' i thot wow great my hair is so soft'' but guess what? i went to bed and noticed on the pillow there was lots of hair obviously fallen off cos it was too soft. i dont know maybe it was the combination of sea water from, swimming undecided
So what is your texture of hair naturally? and when you used Ghee how long did the softness last? how about the look? did it also put shine in your hair?
