Christianity EtcRe: I Do Not Believe in God by sisimose(f): 9:20pm On May 05, 2007
even if you come away not believing in a God after months or years of being a Christian for instance, like you say there wesleyana ''you got confidence '' from reading the bible, that is enough for most people, some people are in the depths of dispair and believing in even a ''stone''(nferyn would love this one lol) has some psychological benefits, don't you think? i think so.

as for whether you going to hell? girl, i won't even dream of answering that one , (heavy sin) it's between you and the Man or woman up there undecided or down there? everywhere? huh tongue you know what i mean grin
Christianity EtcRe: I Do Not Believe in God by sisimose(f): 9:12pm On May 05, 2007
wesleyana
i too have been there, we all question. Like i always say this religion and faith business is an individual thing, it is up to each to decide based on their life experience. Every one believes in something, from the highly spritual to the intellectuals and analytical minds like Nferyn , seun and co tongue

@seun no she has not being 419ed lmao

It is so unfortunate that instead of cooking for your boy friend, u are busy complaining of buying you buka food, you should be happy that he even thinks of buying you food.

Your work does not give you time to go and cook for him, if he decide to marry u nko, will your work gives you time to take care of house chores. Make out time before it becomes too late.

You better go and buy kitchen utensil and start cooking before another person takes over. You are making yourself a visitor in your boyfriends house. Enjoy!
well said

@ sisimose

im not materialistic. wink i just feel a guy shld get his girl someting once in a while even if it's as little as a piece of scribbled up poem which doesnt have to be romantici just want to feel like im important to him, not some u know, undecided
ok got you, not a problem, was just checking. you right i guess you guys have other issues yet to be discussed and little things are now being magnified.

Seun:
I think your relationship is doomed because you are more materialistic than your boyfriend. There's nothing wrong with being materialistic, but you should be with someone who holds the same values otherwise:If you don't understand each other, and you don't hold similar values, then your relationship is doomed, sister.
i agree there with you seun good point, nothing wrong with materialism , if the person you with holds thesame values, you right . that way there is less conflict,

Ogbele o! You have opened up another topic. I think you can answer this question yourself.
lmao  grin

jesusfreak:
the problem is i hardly see him because of my job and anytime we're together, it's always very brief so there's no time to relax and start cooking. i guess this is a problem as well

but ive cooked in his house about twice.

does this mean the relationship is doomed because he's never even given me a gift huh
i am seeing a worrying trend here about you so far, now why do you seem to base your relationship on material things? on things you feel he should buy you etc? your relationship is not DOOMED because he does not buy oyu gifts, it is DOOMED WHEN YOU BEGIN TO PRESSURE HIM ABOUT THINGS.

are you offering?
FoodRe: My Boyfriend Buys Me Buka Food! by sisimose(f): 7:15pm On May 04, 2007
i dont see an issue here at all, just make sure you eat when visiting him and give the dude enough time to save up to tAKE YOU OUT FOR PLUSH meals. even here in the uk my husband and i dont go eating out in posh restaurants every other day( nobody does this). cut the brother some slack wink. i still say how can you not like iya basira? huh
FoodRe: My Boyfriend Buys Me Buka Food! by sisimose(f): 7:04pm On May 04, 2007
lol had to laugh at seun's response. smiley

anyways yeah eat before going to his house now!
is it that he has no mney to take you to nice places or is he tight with his wallet? be understanding still.

I would die for a bukka food right now girl , are you insane? shocked grin

i would love someone to open and read my mail, sort them and then shred all the junk ones
i would love some one to keep an eye on my milk and replenish it when it is going off(i always forget to get fresh milk)

RomanceRe: Just Before Our Wedding, I Discovered His Baby Boy by sisimose(f): 8:59pm On May 01, 2007
My advice? Dialogue. The Knee-Jerk reaction favoured by many of the babes here is not recommended. Someone ought to stop raving and start doing some serious soul-searching, the key thing is to figure out if she can cope with another girl's baby. If not, then and only then should she walk away.

It isn't always easy to get a relationship that'd lead to marriage. One of the prettiest girls i've ever met is desperately looking for a husband now, most of the guys she meets are just playas. Don't let anybody decieve you, husband material isn't everywhere. Could be 5 years, could be 3 years, could be NEVER before she finds love again. . .

@Poster
What were u doing reading his text messages? naughty!
Tex

you are really very matured , stop trying to convince someone else who is taking it upon herself to carry the matter on her head, making every post on NL about her. You are so so right, i hope the poster is reading it, best thing is leave the post and let her come take from it what she can, my guess is the marriage will hold.
Dont you just love how some childish females mouth off when they havent the foggiest about men or relationships, not every girl having sex is a woman or mature, like you observed many of these girls end up after making rash decisions sad and desparate. They start lamenting '' had i known''

Lets just hope the poster makes the right decision and not a foolish one that will get her crying for many years to come, like you said @@husband material is not common'' how wise you are kiss
