Why are most Nigerian Universities ripoff? Who would think that University of Port Harcourt Graduate School would charge 25,000 Naira for transcript request and 13,500 Naira as courier fees, and another 37,500 Naira would be charged by the school for WES transcript verification! What the heck is wrong with the managers of our educational institutions? This is not fair. The educational institutions in Nigeria, especially Uniport need a complete overhauling, but who would revamp it? Clearance alone is a story for another day. It's annoying to see how Nigeria, Federal government owned high institution is turning into a profit making organization. I wish to escalate or cascade these debacle to the right authorities to nip it in the bud!

Hmnnn my dear it is a sorry tale and why I chose iqas.I couldn't bring myself to pay them 100dollars for verification. imagine the nonsense. why are they even charging 37500 instead of 36k as exchange rate is 360.How person go carry that kin money dash person in the name of verification.Thank God other options dey sha.It is really disheartening and a big rip-off.

I'm sure this must have pissed them off because I can remember when writing the SOP, they asked if you have done a research into other study options in other countries and why you decided to take Australia instead. These guys are looking for the slightest excuse to deny you visa and you made it easy for them.

The mail has no impact whatever on their decision.There is something like first choice second choice etc.That one chose Australia as a first choice does not mean one will not have other options especially when their decision is taking so long.

My pipo Iqas evaluation just landed.Officially dove into the pool with my 434 even though i no see the score there. I have been back and forth with Iqas these past two weeks.You will laugh at some of my mails to them like that of today where I told them i have a grouse against them and accused them of deliberately refusing to send the report cos I dared question the status quo even though i knew better.I confidently wrote that way knowing they won't punish me unlike here where such things could actually happen to teach this girl who has been disturbing them a lesson ��� .I was particularly not happy cos they told me two weeks ago the assessment was complete and I v been expectant.Today they told me they were mailing the report moro and I again wondered why the didn't attach the soft copy.Looks like they read my mind as i received the soft copy shortly after.The date on the report was actually 30th October so imagine it took good 16days to scan and send.Well they definitely need more hands and that is why we will be joining them to fill the gaps lol.Thank God sha finally.

Congrats @sweetrie.Bc really needs to look inwards o and need to reduce waiting time for remark drastically.There should even be room to seek damages for such lapses.imagine how many people who didn't bother asking for remark that would have gotten upgrade. Well one day one day they go see.lol

Payment made and application faxed on 22 August.1st email acknowledgement of application receipt on 16th September.
Transcripts delivered via Ups on 5ft September but acknowledgement email came on 27th september.

pls house has any one who wrote Ielts on the 14th October in port Harcourt gone for their Trf? if so pls what is the no format like?I have not been able to go for mine as they issue on Wednesdays and Thursdays and since I couldn't go this week it is till next week and I want to create a profile and enter the pool with my score of 434 before next week Wednesday when chances are high there might be a draw. I have been bombarding iqas with emails and their last response was the eca is complete but in the quality assurance stage which must be done before issuance.I have a hunch I will get it b4 Wednesday enabling me to create a profile with my eca no.Thanks for your anticipated response.pls the format is not limited to those who wrote in ph only as I only stated it because if there is anyone my projection will be more accurate since the city is included in the trf no.

Yeah you are right. Hubby used WES for ECA. His colleague used IQAS so the choice is yours.

Pls any idea how bnsc is assessed? The person also has midwifery as well as public health qualifications.Thank you.

The problem with exemption letter is that they say one must have been 30 years at graduation which is a criteria that we dont meet. And then the school is supposed to help request it but Vladamir Putin has bombed the school and surrounding communities.

Tell them you want to go for your studies first b4 nysc.explain in details that you intend to do it later or seek an exemption when you clock 30
