I've heard a lot of devs here say they practised for at least 5hours+ non stop when they were learning to code. And I'm like, "is that really possible with out taking breaks in between?"
Because me, I'm still learning the fundamentals of JavaScript and to stay more that 2-3hours straight, sitting, looking at my laptop,without taking a rest is really difficult for me. So is it really possible to code for 5-8 hours nonstop without resting in between or am I just been lazy

I just wish this world would just end, let all of us just die.....

I'm about gaining admission into a state university in Nigeria and one of the advice old students have been giving me is that I should not let any lecturer mark my face because if they mark my face they can decided to be failing me and I'll continue to fail their course. So this got me asking, can't legal action be taken against such lecturers and the school too as long as I did not do any physical wrong to him or harm him in any physical way because I just don't understand why someone would just decide to be failing a particular student he finds disrespectful or something like that just because his a lecturer.

When you hear tech startups in Nigeria, it's always a fintech, fintech, fintech... There are so many fintech startups in Nigeria that I believe it's beginning to become overly saturated. Why can't we have other tech startup in Nigeria that aren't fintech ? It would really be a thing of joy for me to see the rise of a Nigerian tech company that can challenge the likes of tencent, Tesla , apple, Samsung, space x, and all those big tech companies that aren't fintech.

You can actually learn HTML5 and JavaScript side by side.

You just have to create a time table. Say 2 hrs for each paper day. It's possible. Just don't overthink what you don't get ask questions.

If you know you can't take all together then take it one by one from html, css and JS.

For CSS focus on layout with flex-box or CSS grid (refer to this post when you get there).

Learn CSS very well before moving to other libraries.

Take it easy on yourself.

bro thanks for your explanation. It really helped me alot. I'm beginning to rap my head around recursions little by little but I know this I going to take time mehn but I know I wouldn't give up no matter how long it takes, I can't just stop going back to try and figure it out

Please the reason I wanted to learn JAVASCRIPT in the first place was because I want to become a full-stack web developer. And I just jumped in JavaScript straight on. after sometime and a few research, I found out I needed to learn HTML and CSS first before JavaScript and then react (I don't know what any of them does cause I'm a noob ) so now I'm planning on quitting JAVASCRIPT for now, to go focus on HTML first then CSS before continuing JAVASCRIPT and then what ever should follow (for me to become full-stack) would you advise me to quit JavaScript now and go focus on those (HTML and CSS) or I can continue with JAVASCRIPT before HTML and CSS?

And please just help me give an outline of how my learning path should be to become full-stack ( because I don't like starting what I don't Finnish )

wrong fruit can not remain = bananas. Fruit would now be assigned the 2nd string in the groceries array which is 'rat' as it's value. Because Var fruit is still = groceries [1]. If you want fruit to remain bananas you have to give it the value bananas , or else it would continue to bear the same value as the second item in the groceries array irrespective of what you update the items of the groceries array to be in the future because var fruit = groceries [1] if your want fruit to still remain as bananas, change
var fruit = groceries [1] to var fruit = bananas

I don't think x would still be 17 bro, because x is still equal to y which would make x be equal to 20 and not 17.
Because you just reassigned a new value to y which is 20 and since x is still x=y, x would print as 20. Shey you get?

no offence but for you to say the bolded, then I don't think you know your JS well.
In JS, sometimes variables can be assigned other variables.

y = 17 ;
x = y ;
print (x) ;

In the above example, x is given the value 17 since y holds the value 17. This means the number 17 would be printed.

'fruits' is currently equal to 'banana' because index starts at 0 so apples index is 0 banana is 1 also i'll recommend you change the source you're learning from 'var' is nowadays obsolete you should be taught to use 'let' and 'const' instead

Sometimes I just feel like the pursuit of money and wealth(and money itself) Is just a short term solution to a long term problem just like any other addiction be it mastubation, smoking, womanising and other's which primarily tends to make us feel good for a short period of time. Sometimes I just wish I was never born honestly because life itself seems to just be a waste of time. I don't have money yet but I already know and feel like one day, I will definitely get tired of this money that I and everyone is struggling so hard to get.
