What a load of trash. Not to the women but to the picture from the OP
Any responsible man who tells you he likes a woman who's vulgar (1), drinks (2), cannot cover her breast and belly (1,3,4) and wants that same woman to be the mother of his children is a weak man. End of story.

I really want a regime change in 2027 at least to weaken this APC stronghold on the country.
It's cult like and disturbing
Eriokanmi:
And that's a fact. Obi walks his talk. In late Buhari's words when he came to ayinke house at Lasuth to commission it after tinubu ran abroad ahead of time, NIGERIA IS BIGGER THAN ANY INDIVIDUAL. That statement will really make sense next year. Nigeria is too big than envisaged.
Even this perceived fear of making him look like a god is part of propaganda. You hear things like Tinubu is not Jonathan o

Tinubu is a master player

Tinubu is this and that.

All lies. Stats don't lie. He is the most unpopular president since 1999 and you saw how he behaved in 2023, he was craving validation. He knew it that his so-called win wasn't the People's vote but when you give such a person access to state resources, they will mop up more. Why do you think he prefers on your mandate anthem than the national anthem? He is insecure and what gives this kind of person oxygen are sycophants who want to take advantage of power. Give it time, we just started and 6 months is a long long time in politics. Did you hear what Gowon wrote in his book? Those closest to him betrayed him. Jonathan said the same thing, once he announced that he conceded, they departed him immediately. Don't put your hope on saboteur. Why am I happy with what is happening? That Nigerians will see on a national level the fake democrat and progressive he claims to be. He already said it with his mouth, grab it, snatch it and run away with it. No matter the propaganda he does, he has shown with his words and actions that he is not the kind of politician to look up to and one day, history will correctly write who he is when he is no more to pay sponsored posts or PR. I never felt for it but as a Lagosian, their PR was working in 2010 and this same man said a performing 'mentee' could not go for second term and that's when I knew this man was just a schemer. The fear they had was Fashola outshining him but they are lucky they have someone in him who said may your loyalty not be tested.

Tinubu's path to victory is
1. Voter apathy

2. Divided opposition

3. Force/threat (he has been using this in Lagos for long but with federal resources, he now has governors like Okpebolo, Wike, SP Akpabio who's always assuring that he will win and others to threaten people to vote him or else)

4. Money (what's your price? This is why he and Atiku are two sides of a coin)

5. Propaganda (gaslighting, see how they celebrate the uncompleted coastal road)

Repost👇
Atiku performance has been poor.
Atiku does not appeal to the youth and going by stats, they are the major voting bloc and will be the only ones to want to come out because whether you like it or not, Tinubu is planning on swimming through voter apathy in 2027. Many of these candidates need to retire, including Obi himself. A child born in 1999 is now 27 and would have gone through his adult life hearing about Tinubu and Atiku. A child born in 1993 when Atiku first contested is now telling his own child that Atiku is the future. How? Let me remind you again

Now that Buhari is dead, he thinks the North will vote for him and all he needs is someone who will help him get Southern votes.

In the three times he appeared on the general ballot for the presidency, Atiku Abubakar received

- 2,637,848 votes (7.47%) in 2007 to finish third,

- 11,262,978 votes (41.22%) in 2019 to finish second, and

- 6,984,520 votes (29.07%) in 2023 to finish second once again.

In the first time the candidate he contested with in 2019 (that gave Atiku his highest vote ever) went to test his popularity in 2023, tell me what was the numbers that candidate got. Obi gave him his best result in 2019 and Obidients today will not be behind Obi himself as Vice. Atiku is repeating the same mistake of the last election, it's not the time of the North. If he forces his way, the likes of Momodu and Okonkwo will happily help him spend his money on a fool's paradise.

SixSeven:

There's too much to do in such short time.
Defeating 🦇 Bat needs a long-term planning with a solid foundation that should have being existing since 2020 or a decade even.
That was the structure LP was building with Obi but tinibu knew this is the way to get to him and what happened to obi and LP after 2023?
Destruction! Confusion! Migrations!
Momentum is contagious. Your second paragraph is why we are the way we are. Those politicians who decamped from LP, what about them? Now some of them want to go back there. We all know that Tinubu does not like competition so you need a different style to deal with this kind of person. Someone that is happy having Wike with him and going to the extent of declaring a state of emergency is who you want to reveal all your cards to? I think some of them learned from the last election and if you watch how they are going with the coalition, fight and realignment, they are all acting a script. Some of these things are orchestrated to give an impression that they are fighting, to show them that their plan is working. Your president postponed his trip the day Obi and Kwankwaso announced the NDC movement. Just give it time. You are playing with a politician here, he is more interested in s scheming than winning.

Accordingly, the Commission has resolved as follows:

Presidential and National Assembly Elections will now hold on Saturday, 16th January 2027.

Governorship and State Houses of Assembly Elections will now hold on Saturday, 6th February 2027.

Do you mean the obi threats ?

Charlie I doubt this Ok movement is anywhere near the obideient movement.
The momentum has died and the new party name is not even recognizable yet unlike when everyone knew LP

Well the rallies hopefully will correct that but I fear it's too short a notice
What do you mean by Obi threats? Datti is even more threatening than OBI but about the momentum, give it time. Let the primaries be concluded and you'll see. Do you know when Buhari was picked as APC candidate in 2014? Why do you think they postponed the 2015 election that Dasuki went to announce?

In December 2014, Bubari emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress party for the 2015 general election. Buhari won the election, defeating incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan. It was the first time in the history of Nigeria that an incumbent president lost a re-election bid.
Buhari became the APC candidate 2 months to the 2015 general election and they packaged him, shielded him from scrutiny and did everything for him to win. The PDP knew his threat was active and postponed that election with the hope that the insecurity they brought machineries to come fight will win votes. It was too late.

Aside Obi and Kwankwanso, no other politician has been able to prove themselves ALONE outside the establishment.

Repost👇

Obi has the brightest chance going by the last election result followed by Kwankwanso. I choose these two because they left PDP and did not have the structure of the regular party, which Atiku benefitted from using the PDP platform. You also have to look at the time they had to test themselves between the election primaries and election.

If you want to know what that means, Ribadu ran the Presidential election in 2011 under AC and failed with that party structure. Obi and Kwankwanso have been able to test their popularity as candidates outside the regular establishments and done well. Both had no Governors in their party before contesting and pulled a good number in the last election. Buhari used his CPC to bargain with AC to get the Presidential slot in APC. Buhari could say whether he used ANPP or CPC, he could gather votes. I'm not so sure Atiku can do that. He was a presidential candidate of the Action Congress in the 2007 presidential election coming in third to Umaru Yar'Adua of the PDP and Muhammadu Buhari of the ANPP. Atiku came a distant third in that election with less than 10% of the votes.

Obi and Saraki/Kwankwanso

A Saraki will be a difficult campaign for APC that has defaulted to using tribes against themselves. Saraki ticks two boxes of Yoruba/North Central who have been looking for relevance since Gowon.

Here is the stats of the declared winners since 1999. Mr Bola Ahmed tinubu was not a popular president elect

Here is the brief, factual list of Nigeria’s presidential election winners since 1999, including each winner’s name and the percentage of valid votes they received.

1999 – Olusegun Obasanjo: about 62.78% of valid votes.

2003 – Olusegun Obasanjo: about 61.94% of valid votes.

2007 – Umaru Musa Yar’Adua: about 69.60% of valid votes.

2011 – Goodluck Jonathan: about 58.87% of valid votes.

2015 – Muhammadu Buhari: about 53.96% of valid votes.

2019 – Muhammadu Buhari: about 55.60% of valid votes.

2023 – Bola Ahmed tinubu: about 36.6–37% of valid votes.

A United opposition will defeat tinubu before the election begins. With a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiide margin. There is no need to argue about that.

Fact: Tinubu remains the most unpopular president to have won the Presidential elections. He is the easiest to kick out. Back then, PDP told AC, CPC and opposition parties when they were reigning that to kick us out, you need to unite as opposition. That's what they learned in 2015.
The 2027 elections is still 6 months away. January was the month Occupy Nigeria happened in 2012. Money will be wasted this Christmas season but let people eye clear for January, dem go think am again. The holiday is a good time for families and friends to discuss politics of 2027. That January month they set may just be digging their own grave because they thought it will be to their own favor. Let's watch and see.

Akpabio today started in PDP. Served as a Governor for two terms. Promised to defend votes for GEJ but today is singing on your mandate.

Saraki was in the PDP. Dislodged his father and disrupted Tinubu's plan to select people to be the Senate President but destroyed his party and joined forces with APC. Now he's in ADC.

Atiku and Tinubu go far back as SDP but they went their ways in 1999, got a deal in 2003 to save Lagos, Tinubu worked with PDP to save his AD and joined Atiku once again in AC and eventually APC to dislodge Jonathan. Today they are friends, tomorrow they are contesting.

Kwankwaso was a Governor and minister. He was once in PDP. Went to NNPP. Now in NDC with OBI. Obi, Kwankwaso and Atiku were all once in PDP.

Nigerian politics has never been enemies at the top, it is a game for them. It's the followers who want to kill themselves because if you want to know how they don't fight themselves, watch any event diary show and see how they attend each other's weddings, birthdays and burial events. Obasanjo that fought Tinubu as governor was still at an event where Tinubu came there. Don't die in their game.

We don't really have strong party followers in Nigeria and even if we do, at least it's not do or die like how much the republicans don't want to hear anything from the democrats.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Some People Are Very Ungrateful by SixSeven:
What you are sharing sounds like you're getting exhausted with the help you are giving because it keeps returning. One of the things you learn as you grow is not to be bothered by people's reaction but be bothered by your own intention.

This will change the way you do things. You ask yourself why you do what you do. Why? Are you doing it for them or you are doing it for your purpose on earth? It's with that understanding that you will never bother about human beings and their reactions. You won't be distracted by their distraction too. Many people put too much reliance on gratefulness (which is a good thing to have) but sometimes I ask myself, ifManbeGod, do you know how the world would have ended since? How many times do I thank my Creator for my lungs, my eyes, my brain, my nerves, my blood, my lungs, my skin, my hair, my nose, my nails, my eyebrow, my tongue and so many things I took for granted but when you take time to study it, you see the perfection in which you were created and took for granted? If I don't do that and I can't be as merciful as God, then who am I to complain about man to man?

In Buddhism, giving with the expectation of gratitude, praise, or a reward from the recipient is recognized as a common human impulse, but it is considered an inferior or impure form of giving.
While it still generates some positive karma, it does not lead to spiritual liberation because it is driven by ego and attachment.
If you keep receipts of those you have "helped", it is not giving, it was business you were doing. I don't keep scores. I score my goal and go to the next match.
It is for this reason I don't bother about the games of the receiver because me I am playing a different champions league. And I know that my favor is not from them because in most religious books I have studied and in spiritual life, the givers never lack but the givers who put condition go slack. If you grew up with grandmas, grandpas and elderly, you'll understand the concept of giving more. They are not dumb when they give but they learned some things from African spirituality in giving. I also don't get carried away by all the money in the world because the concept of money is man made, so we continue In the endless pursuit of paper currency, expecting it to solve problems money will never solve!

SixSeven:
I posted a video in my last comment. One of the reasons I don't bother arguing with women and don't give a damn about whether they think my comment is pandering or not is because with time, women eventually find out the truth. Time is a beautiful patient bride for men but an ugly tortuous truth for women. I need to copyright that. Women also don't like being told the truth, so keep telling them beautiful lies if you want to make them happy.

What happens to these women is that they have to settle. It was never a competition but the system does not favor men initially, it beats them but once you clock 30, things start to change. Men who learned from the beatings will start to look good while women who didn't know time changes yesterday will wake up to the reality of a new dawn. This is why the world always tried to raise the girl child more than the boy child because men can make many mistakes and still recover. A woman's recovery is usually hard if she makes mistakes, so man overtime knew this and wanted to raise her because they knew the future isn't nice, it can be harsh.

It's often too late before women realize in their 40s that the select few men they want are either married or not interested in them because of their age. They are then susceptible to fork boys/men and younger men who are still discovering themselves and not emotionally/financially mature for them. Women know themselves, that's why it's usually difficult for mothers to accept their sons marrying an old woman say 25 yo man vs 40 yo woman. The women know themselves. Women wake up one day later in life to see they are not as beautiful as they thought and newer editions have come out. Attention has gone to the beautyful ones who are born and trending.

So you are indebted to pay what they raised so high due to their policies.

What is being done in federal is no different than what he did as a Governor. You don't teach an old dog new tricks.

Nigeria: Tinubu imposed Fees on LASU - another major attack on Education
Dele Adebole in Lagos06 June 2006
Nigeria

Back in February two Lagos students were killed by police as they protested against the recent hike in school fees. In some cases fees have been increased a hundred times over. This is making it practically impossible for poor and working class Nigerian children to get an education.
"The Lagos State university students' union in conjunction with the NANS zone D and NANS JCC Lagos Axis berate the satanic increment in LASU school fees and the killing of some students of LASU during the peaceful protest against the increment in school fees. And call for the immediate reversal of these exploitative fees as a prerequisite to let the less privilege have access to Education".

These was the first paragraph in the leaflet issued by the students' union alongside with NANS zone D and JCC Lagos in February after the students' protest against the fees, which led to the killing of two students by the police on the command of the Lagos State Government.

It will be recalled that immediately after the appointment of a new vice chancellor last year, December 2005, the Tinubu regime of Lagos State announced to Lagos residents that the government could not afford to subsidize education and that in line with the ‘reforms' in the education sector, there cannot be any free education. The university authorities were directed to increase the fees from 250 Naira for old students to 25,000 Naira, while the freshmen's old fee of 1, 000 Naira was increased to N35, 000. This increment exclude the acceptance fees N10,000 introduced earlier to the fresh students two years ago.

It is very important to note that even while the official school fees were placed at N250 earlier, an average student still pays as much as N25,000 to the university or its agents. This takes the form of handouts, registration fees, etc.

Not excluding the current attempt to deny the children of the working class education by the newly imposed post-JAMB test, according to ruling elites, it is to checkmate examination malpractice experienced during jamb exams but from reality, it has been confirmed as another conduit pipe through which money is generated and siphoned without question. This post jamb fee in LASU is N2,000. All these fees stated above do not include various expenses to be incurred while going through the registration processes.

The Tinubu administration carrying out these attacks on students is a master of deception. Towards the end of his first four years, he became one of the most hated governors in Nigeria as he committed enormous atrocities against workers, students and rendered many people homeless. The sacking of over 10,000 workers in 2001/2002 over the N7,500 minimum wage protests is still fresh in the memory of the working class despite the treachery of the labour leadership.

The process of destroying public schools did not start with LASU neither will it end with LASU. If we flash back our memory, this regime handed over schools to private individuals and missionaries four years ago.

This was a process of saying government cannot fund education and moral standards had fallen because missionaries and Muslim clerics were not allowed to teach morals and that handing over would increase the standard of education. But the current state of public primary/secondary schools nose-dived to an all time low. Where on religious bases students were not allowed to enroll in certain schools. Teachers were transferred from outside on religious sentiments. This marked the beginning of privatization of education in Lagos State under Tinubu.

The obvious implication of privatization and handing over of schools to both Muslim and Christian clerics is that this is damaging. As the children of the poor working class will be denied access to education based on affordability and religious grounds. This in turn will lead to mass illiteracy as is currently already developing in the country.

Despite the killing of Rashid Giwa during the protest and closure of LASU campus, the students' union had been campaigning against the fee in the print and electronic media.

However, students must be wary of some so-called ex-LASU students' leaders and human right activists who are trying to divide and restrict the struggle against the fee to the vice-chancellor alone but are afraid of exposing and challenging Tinubu, who as the governor gave the directive as the owner of the university, because they are also members of the Alliance for Democracy, AD, or personal assistants to AD top officials, while some of the right-wing activists are Tinubu-AD loyalists.

The way forward
It is clear that the class-conscious approach to the struggle against fees must be adapted. The LASU students must appeal to non-academic workers and lecturers for solidarity in order to defeat this regime.

All other Lagos State tertiary institutions are connected to this cause as their cause since they are under the same state, while also spreading the campaign to all other campuses throughout Nigeria for concerted effort in defeating the Obasanjo and Tinubu policy on education.

One sure way of achieving victory of the students' movement is by booting out state agents in NANS in our various institutions.

The LASU students have proved themselves once again, after many years of reaction taking over the students' union leadership, when their existence as students has been threatened by the state.

The only socio-economic system that can grantee free and quality education is a government led by workers with clear-cut socialist policies.

I like him though, he does not pretend to be what he is not. It's those who pretend that he is malevolent that surprise me. I am sure you watched his remarks at the African CEO Conference in Kenya. He has no mercy for the poor so whenever someone shows you who they are, believe them.

One of them is an ex-convict

One of them has fraud allegations against him

And the last one, the jury is still out on him.

I like this picture in your post but the one that caps it for me is the guy who defeated Elumelu under the people's labour mandate then went to stand on the APC's mandate after the election and got served grin🤡

He has been disgraced and has also lost that trust from the party leaders, he could have been considered for another appointment if he had listen to gbaja and stepped down , now that he has loss he is now covering up, you think we are mumu like him
Ambode and Femi are still working with APC despite all they did back then.

He may have lost that opportunity with his constant talk in the media
You don't know how these people work. There is a reason why they use the media, they remain a threat if they don't give them something to keep their mouth shut. So Elliot has definitely gotten a deal, all his wailing was not in vain.
