Proserpina: Lol.. Frank isn't innocent in all of this. Noooooooo He's not a pitiful man, Men age like wine, soon he will find a 22 year old "firgin" and start life again. By 56 his new kid will be in Creche.
Life is good
Isn't this the wonders of God? That at 76, 86 and 96, you can still have a new kid in the bloc 🥶🤡
imsoftcash: If you must stand, learn to stand on the people's mandate; serving the people is the essence of democracy. So here is a list of those gone while standing on Tinubu's mandate, and if the INEC officials are to conduct a free and fair election, 99% of those still standing on Bola Tinubu's mandate will be gone before 12PM on election eve. May God help innocent Nigerians to get it right in the 2027 election
Now see the “List Of Those Gone While Standing On Tinubu's MANDATE.”

These are among the few people singing and shouting on your mandate, we shall stand, on your mandate, on your mandate, Bola, on your mandate, Tinubu, on your mandate, we shall standdddddddddddd in a country where the present leadership has failed the people.
I like this picture in your post but the one that caps it for me is the guy who defeated Elumelu under the people's labour mandate then went to stand on the APC's mandate after the election and got served 🤡
2023: LP (Okolie) defeats APC (Elumelu) at elections
2025: LP (Okolie) defects to APC
2025: APC (Elumelu) defeats APC (Okolie) at primaries
They say he was late to his own election. When they announced results at 4am and announce results from the top as consensus, e think say na joke. 😂😂😂😂
I hope the rest learn from this but I want more of it. APC, givedemwotowoto
fuke: the lab we had in Lagos, best in West Africa, you guys burnt in the guise of the #EndSARS protests.
So you don't think some people had their own intentions for that lab to be burnt? You don't think criminals did not want that building so let's blame it under the cover of endsars? Why was that lab specifically targeted? Why not courts or other labs? Don't worry about replying me, I already see how you think from your previous comment.
The last one is Tax and I have seen it now since Tinubu is a tax lover. Nigerians have gotten used to not asking for accountability. Not realizing that public officials are spending their money. It was on the last thread and I predicted that someone will come and explain to you how they love to cite the worst of examples for your sufferings but comfortably ignore good ones for comparison. If you tell them that Nigerians have no business paying tax, they will think you didn't go to school 👇
Princedapace: I love the piece u wrote, very smart and intelligent. I keep saying this same thing. We have no business paying income tax. Like no way. Eurpeans never had the type of resources we have. All we need is proper management of our resources, use the income from resources and build public infrastrcuture, not to pay politicians and their families so well. Build our educational system so we can start converting our raw resources into finished goods. Like our lithium into batteries instead of selling the material alone to China. But no, these muda fukers think that taxing me up to 25 percent is the best. Just copyying Europeans blindly. Europeans wont be this wicked to their people if they have half of what Africans have. Africans have land for agriculture. Like mad, we can be self sufficient. I honestly dont know who cursed this continent and her leaders and people. An oil and gas rich nation taxing her citiznes 25 percent is mindblowing. Like mind blowing, after still taxing VAT, import, banking services, everything we get from FG, we pay for it such as drivers lincense, VISA, all documents are paid for. So, WTF is this guy's doing exactly? All Nigeria needs is proper resource management, cut down on the too much money spent on politicians and block corruption to the core. none of these politicians want to work actually. That is the honest truth
With the Minister of Finance we currently have, a tax expert, I am afraid things will not change. It's one thing for us to learn the education that was given to us, it's another thing to know who we are and what works for us. Many times what we often do is copy a western system to an African environment without thinking about the underlying issues. The result is obvious.
Our people go to Dubai, they know what the citizens enjoy and how their government supports citizens first before foreigners. From housing to education to employment but they will conveniently ignore that. They like to look for examples that show we are allies in suffering. That's why you see them say, you want all the good things in London but you don't pay your taxes. As if, to agree without conceding to that statement, those ones don't give their people service. I was writing about the Iran war and it still baffles me that US sanctions are good excuses for these guys to make their people poor. I don't want to say we are cursed. These guys we have are specialists in failure 👇
When Trump posted that he would bomb Iran to ancient civilization by targeting their bridges and energy infrastructure, the only thing that came to my mind was energy infrastructure. I've given up on bridges because in Nigeria, mediocrity is celebrated. 4th Mainland bridge is still on their mega plan while the Lagos-Calabar highway is completed since Obidients, Wailers and enemies of the State are already selling gala on its highway, hide your face!!!🙈
In this ongoing war, Iranian officials announced last week that they have restored electricity to their people despite attacks from Israel/US. 👇
Iran restores power to most parts of Tehran and Karaj after suspected attacks on infrastructure
It makes me ask the question, are we living in any civilization if we can't have light
A country at war cares so much to restore power to its people, they even provided updates on the power situation in their country, they didn't use the war as an excuse but in my own country, these wicked people use all manner of man-made excuses to put us in darkness, pain and suffering. Every Nigerian becomes an analyst, analyzing waterfalls from Kainji Dam to river sediments of Bakassi peninsular. May woe betide una 👐 It's not a curse. It is what you need because what you have shown us is that you are ungrateful. We are ungrateful people in this country and we should stop insulting God. Nigerians are the most ungrateful people on earth because God blessed us with abundance of resources and wealth but we insult the creator by giving weak excuses and ensuring that people suffer while we take care of our own immediate family and friends. We don't like ourselves, we just pretend we do.
In other countries, they make sure people are okay first. Here, we want to steal everything for ourselves and family, most people don't care about the state. They send their kids abroad, no excuses. They holiday abroad. They show off abroad. What kind of people are these? I can't just speak for God because if I were the one who created this kind of people, I would be so irritated because I see how you take pride in making your own people suffer but stash the money abroad. The president is in power, the supporters are more interested in peppering Obidients. If the president does well, isn't it to everyone's enjoyment and benefit? What sort of tomfoolery makes you bothered about opposition when you have the opportunity to use the goddamn power to fix things? I see in the war threads how people support either side but they don't reason. That country is a terrorist country as they claim here on NL but they have light. They have freaking light. No excuses. They are under sanctions. Here, they give all manner of excuses, sabotage the country, cache out our money, only for it to be used by their oppressors. Clowns 🤡
Nigerian incompetence thrives on world chaos so they can have something to justify their dirty bottoms. It's such a shame and a disgrace that Libya and Iran can have light but in Nigeria, we are ready to blame the world economy. Hisses
SixSeven: Look at this picture below. What does it say? 👇
Meanwhile in a country called Nigeria, what was the headline for this weekend? Obasanjo says NNPC refineries cannot be fixed 🤡
Iran never said let's wait for this war to end. They never said maybe US will attack it again so let's not repair it. They never complained about the sanctions. They never complained about world economy and all those nonsense those people smart by half come to preach to you online or on TV. They went straight to business.
This is the same government people abuse here meanwhile their own government in Nigeria doesn't give a damn about their welfare. The failure of a power minister says we should appoint a coordinating minister of energy after failing to restore power in 2 weeks he gave himself. President disconnected his own residence from national grid and went solar. Eeeeeeddddddoooots
The people have Stockholm syndrome without knowing it so when they know that their votes count but still voice it out that it won't count, you can see how they have normalized the lies they live in.
Repost. Nigerians have normalized living with generators that people don't know how clownish they are when they explain it away👇
We built Lagos indeed.
One of the things that never impressed me about Tinubu and I choose Tinubu because he had the chance to change this back then in the 99 - 07, was the failure to make Lagos Water Corporation supply the state. That was a monumental failure if you recognize how much Jakande did in 4 years for a Lagos of our dreams. Pure water made its debut in Lagos around the early 2000s. Government watched on. If you were a child who took water from the tap on the public, raise your hands up 🙌 If a government, whether it's Tinubu or not cannot provide the basic infrastructure such as water, light and good roads, F9 ❌ Yesterday, someone said luxurious is the most abused word used in Nigeria today. And the person said they use the term luxury because most Nigerians have not been given the basics or experienced it before so anyone can say their solar is luxury 😔 The defenders of the government never experienced anything better, so they think defending the government is better and constructive criticism is bitter!
Now, the IPP Tinubu fought Obasanjo for, Lagos has the golden chance to generate its electricity and do far better than what Abia's Orji is currently bragging about, but instead of them to ask questions, they prefer all of you to be fighting ethnic and religious fights so they can never be held accountable. Who loses? You the foolish people who let politicians play their cards on you. Lagos is trying to keep the environment clean when Fashola did his home work. Sanwoolu is still struggling with administering a clean city. Ambode came and visionscaped everything away. Yet, they say they had a masterplan. Fashola also blamed the FG for the electricity independence and they finally got to power in 2015. They've been there for years, no opposition but light up Lagos is what Sanwo-Olu is celebrating in 2026 after Ambode made that his first 100 days project in 2015. Make it make sense. Your leaders are evil. Instead of serving you, they corner your resources and always want to settle contractors so the money can come back to them. No light, no water. Bad environment, bad water. Bad waste, dirty water. Chai.
You all are comfortable with sleeping with your oppressors.
You provide your own electricity (generator) You provide your own water (bore hole) You provide your own road (patch) You provide your own housing (build your own) You provide your own drinking water (pure water) You provide your own waste management system And they tax you upon all of these. You must be so in love with yourself that you will allow a government abuse you this much. They tax you for not doing their jobs. Oyo State wanted to tax those who dug boreholes but they were quiet about the negligence of the state to provide water to the people. And they had an engineer as Governor. Your politicians are very very very very wicked people.
Meta said you should talk to your neighbours as if they can hear you. That's how you know artificial intelligence from real. Have we tried talking to our governments? How Nigerians became comfortable with this thing is insane, some people use industrial generators that work with diesel. Now everyone is going solar too because of government negligence. Tinubu himself changed the power supply at the Villa to solar. GCFR Generator Commander of the Federal Republic.
Generator noise is not the loudest of your problems, it is the fumes that are the silent killers and probably one of the reasons for the increase in cancer cases in Nigeria without us knowing. Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a major component of fuel generator fumes. Carcinogenicity of these compounds has long been established. Those pollutants are not safe for your air and direct contact with your skin, water and environment. Imagine sitting behind the exhaust of a vehicle. That's what we are doing to ourselves. If you cannot sleep well because of the noise, your health is affected. If you cannot hear well, because of the noise, your hearing is affected. If you cannot breathe well because of the smoke, your health is affected. If you have the money, switch to solar but what sense does that make if you still live in an environment where your neighbours still use generators? You see why Nigerians need to solve this problem as a collective instead of doing I beta pass my neighbour competition.
Who did this to us All I want to say is they don't even care about us
Willy2025: Yusuf is an inlaw to Kwankwaso and their relationship is far back in years. I still don't know why they separated.
The interviewer asked Kwankwaso if Yusuf still seats with him in family meetings and K said that question was too personal. That should tell you everything you need to know about politics.
Exousiang01: Why own concern is How come Soworw has the time to move from court to court everyday. I mean the last few times I have seen him in the news na different days for court.
Just curious tho
That's where you court attention. He knows what he's doing.
Dreal1247: It's Tinubu's strategy to split Obi's votes. But I know that Obi and Jonathan cannot run from different platforms in the same election. Jonathan may not say it publicly but I can tell you free of charge that he is definitely going to give his support to Mr Peter Obi. Obasanjo and Jonathan know the track record which Mr Peter Obi has and sincerely desire his presidency knowing fully well that it is going to be the best thing that will happen to Nigeria when realized.
Nothing like that. It's public knowledge that Obasanjo and Goodluck want Obi. Obasanjo still does not want his vice president to win too.

LordBiden: Better go and return that key to the owner, Yes Tinubu will also rule your papa too.
You didn't see the irony in his posts. That Nigerians can no longer buy newer used cars, not new cars, latest used cars. That model of the car na Lexus wey no pass 2010. Boys de buy car before, now they can't afford even the used ones. Tells you the story of the pain they love.
Lithiumite: What do they need to do to heal your suffering that hasn't been done without everyone going through more pains.
Every nation that has developed used the same template for development and non got to where they are without blood and grit......nigerians aren't ready to pay the price, everything is sacrificed on the altar of clannishness and purile politics.
Pains indeed. You lead by example. Your leaders want us to go through pains while they enjoy. Isn't that hypocrisy? Pain indeed.
When Obasanjo came as Military Head of State, to encourage made in Nigeria, he changed his official vehicle to Pueguot. We know what else everyone did when he did that. What did Tinubu do? Bought luxurious vehicles, a yatch and a plane.
In March 1979, Head of State General Olusegun Obasanjo arrived in his official Peugeot 504 to open the newly built Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos.
The iconic Peugeot 504 was a staple of General Obasanjo’s military administration. He famously mandated its use for government officials to cut down on the wasteful spending of exotic vehicles and promote local assembly plants.
On March 15, 1979, Obasanjo arrived in this vehicle alongside his security detail to officially commission the international airport, marking a major milestone in Nigeria's aviation development. Later that year, on October 1, 1979, Obasanjo used this same Peugeot 504 to drive Nigeria's first democratically elected executive president, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, to his inauguration, ending years of military rule.
When he came back the second time, foreign juice was the norm at government functions. Obasanjo banned it and said it must be made in Nigeria juice and water. That's when Nigerian producers started taking the table at events. Leadership is not rocket science. There's a lot the leader can do so don't come sermonize us here on tPain.
WhizdomXX: I see it changing by May 29th 2027. Hope you have your PVC.
I hope it does. I want Nigerians to hold their leaders accountable and I'm afraid we get carried away easily. Whether it's Obi, Atiku or Tinubu, they need to be held accountable. It's unfortunate that the government of today has lowered the bar so much they don't want us to ask questions, they want praise. And anyone who asks questions is either Igbo, an enemy or a hater
SixSeven: I want to conduct a poll on this topic after my comment on the other thread about female commentators in football games. I do not enjoy it and I have been watching football for over 3 decades. I have also been listening to football commentary and analysis on radio, through SW to AM to FM and now podcasts and everything. During the days of livescores, I don't know if they still do that, women call it out. Women were always in the game but they never touched the live commentary part. I think due to the nature of the game and most audience being men, it was a sacrilege to disrupt what people heard. Someone called me a misogynist because of my comment.
I want to know, do you enjoy women's live commentary for men's games? This is just a statistical analysis of viewers' choice, no sentiments, no favoritism. Let's see what this sample size shows and maybe media organizations can learn from their consumers.
Lithiumite: Are you in anyway even aware how the LPG out of your country is priced and the business model it operates,I bet you arent even aware its priced in USD and the company is not obliged to sell to you if you aren't ready to buy at international prices.....america has more crude oil than we do but it's citizens aren't buying it dead cheap just because they have it in the ground.
OP, this is exactly what I told you in my last comment on our thinking. When it comes to suffering, they look for the best examples to heal our sufferings, when it comes to what our contemporaries do, they ignore it.
IyaTola: I hear your frustration, and honestly, many Nigerians feel the same way. The cost of living is painful right now, and it is fair to ask hard questions about leadership, priorities, and why ordinary people seem to carry the heaviest burden.
But if we want to understand why some people may still support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu or ask for patience, the argument is usually this:
Nigeria’s economy was already deeply damaged long before this administration came in. For years, the country spent huge amounts subsidizing fuel and defending the naira artificially. Those policies made things look cheaper on the surface, but they also drained government finances, increased debt, discouraged investment, and created massive corruption opportunities.
So the current government believes that removing fuel subsidy and allowing the naira to float are painful but necessary corrections, not because suffering is good, but because they believe delaying those decisions would eventually crash the economy even harder.
That does not erase the suffering people are facing. It does not magically make ₦1,400 fuel or expensive food acceptable. And many citizens are justified in asking why politicians still appear comfortable while ordinary people are told to sacrifice.
That anger is valid.
But supporters of the government would argue that:
- reforms usually hurt first before improvements appear, - states now receive more allocation because subsidy payments reduced, - some investors are returning because policies are more market-driven, - and fixing problems created over decades cannot happen in one or two years.
The real issue many Nigerians have is not just the hardship itself — it is the imbalance of sacrifice.
People can endure pain more patiently when leaders also:
- cut their own luxuries, - reduce wasteful government spending, - show transparency, - and visibly share in the sacrifice.
That is where many citizens feel disappointed. Nigerians are not only asking for economic reform; they are asking for fairness, empathy, and evidence that leaders understand real life outside government convoys.
Your post reflects something deeper than politics: exhaustion. A country where citizens provide their own power, security, water, healthcare, and education will naturally resist heavier taxes because people already feel overburdened.
And that is the conversation Nigeria honestly needs — not insults between political sides, but serious discussion about:
- how to grow incomes, - how to reduce the cost of governance, - how to restore purchasing power, - and how to make sacrifice feel shared instead of one-sided.
Nobody likes suffering. People simply disagree on whether the current hardship is a temporary transition toward recovery or just more pain without results.
Nigeria’s economy was already deeply damaged long before this administration came in.
Didn't Tinubu say he was Buhari? This line no fit work. Change your AI prompt
reddingtonblack:
The problem of Nigeria is not something any of the incoming candidates can solve infact not even peter obi. As much as you are entitled to your Opinion, Your assertions are vague and baseless
Every single problem Nigeria faces or have as challenge is Man Made .. I am educated & expose to the level i can tell you No man made problem is beyond solution. You can speak factually that no candidate can solve Nigeria problem ... thats preposterous
The structure of the country itself won't even allow it to progress .
The structure of Nigeria does not allow that "when prices goes up it come down" But Yaradua is the only president that made us realize Price of fuel can be lesser than what predecessor left ... till date every govt believe fuel must sell × 10 what they met
Current presidential system we practicing is too expensive. I agree, going forward cutting govt lavish expenditure is one sure relief
To add to your comment, we can cut cost if we want to. The motorcade that follows the US President is for security reasons but look how many of our governors do the same thing? We just used it for show and Fashola also showed that you don't need to make noise as a Governor with siren. So things can be done, we just refuse to. The way to know that our motorcade was not for security was when the Governors receiced the President in Lagos.
Ozinlex: Stories for the gods, if Tinubu the current President of the country has the "balls" to remove fuel subsidy, float a free exchange rate, apply for loan and get aporoval from the National assembly, sign a fraudulent electoral and taxation laws within days...WHY CAN'T HE CHANGE THE SAME TERRIBLE SYSTEM IN 3 YEARS?
I like this. I remember they even said he was a strong man who didn't listen to his advisors not to remove subsidy on the first day but because he is a warrior, he is Jagaban, he is a fighter, he can lead us to el dorado. Na bourdillon e go drop us las las. Driver o wa oo
Princedapace: You are a smart person. Africans dont need western style. We have everything, like bro, every damn thing. Now, imagine security is fixed and we can use agriculture well, that will solve a lot of problems. Instead of tackling security, these moda fukas feel that increasing income tax to 25% is the way to go in a country where citiznes are so poor, and the moda fukas are proud to cap tax threshhold at 800k per year? Like how na? Anyone earning 800k per year in Nigeria of today is not living, the person is dead. I am so ashamed of my leaders. They wrecked lives and destinies. People lives and destinies wasted.
I can feel your pain with the use of MF in your write-up
I hope I didn't add more to it because I updated my comment you quoted. It's just frustrating and I don't see things changing anytime soon because when you reason like this, they will insult you. SixSeven: Women don't forget. A help is a debt owed...
Feed a woman for life, no worries. Let a woman feed you for lunch, Kilimanjaro will hear about it. Men, take note. Women don't help like that. You are the provider, not her. Beware of Greek gifts.
I am reminded of this movie 👇
While he was struggling financially he found out is wife had $280,000 in her bank account pic.twitter.com/CVdqSdxrwm
SixSeven: Just know women and know peace. I agree with you, be a person of help and value no matter who but between man and woman, women like providers and that's man's natural state. A woman as a provider will remind you of what she does, most men just take it like that. For the men who do 50/50 which is what the West makes of men, they want to take the authority from them because they pay the bills. It's sad but that's the reality. Only a few women who were were properly trained and know the difference between building a home and a career can understand this.
If a man is not doing well, he should make sure he doesn't let the woman become the man of the house for too long. He should try to work on himself. Again, women are not built to be providers. They are receivers. That's how God made them. Give a woman a sperm, make a baby. Giver her a house, she makes a home. The moment you let her do the work of a man, you will change her and she will become bitter. It's man's natural nature to build, it's her natural nature to nututre.
If you have one who did not show you shege because she helped you, appreciate her. Her type is rare.
If there's an open secret this man said, we know Nigeria's history and the cat and mouse game between the military and police. Military men will never concede to Ribadu, a Policeman and that will put our nation into more problems.
