Women have ego. They don't like to be rejected but can dish it out to men without worries. Watch the story of the woman who disguised as a man about 20 years ago. See the way women treated her until they discovered she was not a man but a woman like themselves.

This is a recent one for Gen Z to watch. See how men are treated online

That's why you don't take all advice from women. Study them but be yourself. What they do is more important than what they say. Have you not noticed how they think they can talk for men but when it comes to responsibility and accountability, they keep quiet? They want to turn men into pets, now they created mental health day for men, yet they still want to be the ones to chaperone the conversations. Yet, they will tell you that you as a man can never understand what it is like to be a woman because you are not one but they are so interested in telling you what to do. I pity young girls listening to women online. That's how Linda Ikeji misled some people and found her solution at the right time and her fans were blaming her. I always say, don't argue with women. Time teaches them sense. grin

Men, read Esther Vilar's books. You'll learn alot about women and manipulation.

Business › Re: Elon Musk Crosses $600bn Net Worth by SixSeven:
Gerrard59:
You are right about Trump, but the same South Korea has doled out over $200BN in the past ten years, yet fertility rates plummeted.

Simple:
- Women are more educated and financially independent. They have realised there is more to life than just being childbearers. In every country across cultures and religions, the more educated and financially empowered the women are, the lower their fertility rates. This has been observed in the Middle East and Asian countries.
- Birth control. The very fact that women can deliberately control the number of children they want means the fertility rate will hardly rise. Combine this with financial freedom. Women can now live their lives without ever needing a man. That is the new normal.
- Testosterone rates too have dropped due to toxic pollutants, sedentary diets and lifestyle choices.
- Humans have gotten selfish. They have new hobbies, they want to travel to new places, eat new dishes, buy items for themselves, aka self-care etc. These lifestyle choices clash with raising and taking care of children.
- and many more.

Some will say it is as a result of not offering women rights, yet Niger Republic has a higher fertility rate than South Korea. In fact, feminism leads to a declining fertility rate. Nordic countries are adjudged to be "gender equal", yet fertility rates there are low. The French have off-days yet fertility rates have dropped. They say a high cost of living, yet poorer countries have higher fertility rates than wealthier ones.
I see your points and I understand but I think it's culture. A culture that makes people understand that education is not a life of selfishness or ambitions. There's nothing wrong with educated women but if that same education makes them see the natural state of reproduction as an inconvenience, then there is a problem with that education. The paradox about the high cost of living is that in the poor countries, life is more than material wealth. In the rich countries, life is how much of material wealth you can achieve before giving birth. The first thing they will calculate is the cost of child care and it is damn expensive. Some Americans go and give birth outside the US because it's cheaper there while Nigerians travel to give birth there because of the card! Life is very interesting. Capitalism is very selfish, it has its benefits but its disadvantages is how it takes your soul away. Humanity is lost and the essence of living is lost. Elon can have any number of children he has because he can afford it and he can practise informal polygamy because he can afford it but a Nigerian man who does that is abused. See people today discouraging others from having children. It's a mindset thing. Human population has never been the problem especially for Nigeria. In fact, it is an asset as we have talented people. The greatest problem is mismanagement of the people and we then see it as a burden. Rich men online especially in the west want more children. They can afford it. They don't say they only want 1/2. They are talking legacy. wink

The menonites have proven us wrong. If we practise something like that here, it is called poor man thinking. If it's a white man, we paint it with red wine and luxury. 🤡

We thought life would arrive fully formed, like a certificate handed to us at the end of school. Instead, it keeps asking questions. It breaks us open, rearranges our plans, and insistsquietly that purpose is not something we find once, but something we grow into, again and again.

Who are you?

If you can answer that question without telling me who your parents are, who you are married to, where you schooled, what your qualifications are and other superficial things, you have found your role to play in the society.

I hate it when they make the aides and Presidency officials look more powerful than the president. You either have a commander in chief or not. This is why we need healthy alert people as our number one but after Yar Adua and the cabals, we still keep making the same mistakes. Cabals were approving budget on behalf of Yar Adua. If the likes of Akunyili did not speak up, some people would have played along for their own benefit. I now see why Trump also revoked any auto signature by Biden because we can't be so sure it was really the president who signed some of those things or people around the president. Democracy is an abusive situation if there are no checks or balances. Right now, Nigeria has no Senate and judiciary is one leg in. Chai

It is just co-incidental that the person you wrote about is my uncle. Half of what you wrote about him is not true.... For instance, Uncle Etim Esin is not living quietly in Akwa Ibom state. He now lives in Lekki (quietly in his house there). He also has houses in Surulere and other parts of lagos... While the write-up about the armed robbers' incident is just 70% correct, the incident about rape is false. You need to understand his perspective. He did not rape anyone, I spoke with him about this incident myself, and the narrative he gave is quite different - it was a case of frame up. Uncle Etim John Esin that I know in person is not regretting anything... I can tell you that for free.

I know that we have several Ex-Super Eagles players on this platform too, probably reading this post. We need to celebrate our heroes. My uncle is a Living Legend, let's celebrate him while he is still alive.
I have heard him speak about the rape issue on Channels TV.

Marriage benefits MEN more than Women, especially in Africa. Marriage for women in Africa is a CURSE, a generational CURSE.

I'd rather off than be a married woman in Nigeria lol.

If there is equality and education in Nigeria like we have abroad, no woman will be married. This is the reason why in developed countries, there's male loneliness epidemic because women has a very high standard and can decide to be single and still be well. But in Africa where there's abject poverty, coupled with zero education, women has a very low self esteem and thus will see it as a problem if they aren't married. Girl, you are donating your womb to someone, you are the price.

Car Crash: Akpabio Flown Abroad For Treatment
Car Crash: Akpabio Flown Abroad For Treatment by Nobody: 4:24am On Sep 02, 2015
A former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio, was on Tuesday afternoon flown out of Nigeria to receive medical attention abroad.

It was learnt that the senator, in company with about five of his aides, left the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja aboard a regular private jet that he usually travels with.

Sources at the airport told our correspondent that Akpabio and his team arrived at the General Aviation Terminal, local wing, of the airport around 12.40pm.

It was learnt that the former governor was conveyed to his aircraft by a tarmac bus and was fit physically when sighted at the airport.

An official of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, who saw the senator while he was about to board his aircraft, said, “He (Akpabio) was at the GAT local wing of the airport and one of the tarmac buses was used to convey him to his aircraft. He left around 20 minutes to 1pm.

“The flight conveying him on the trip taxied to the international terminal from where it took off. The former governor travelled with his own private flight and had about five persons who accompanied him on the trip. He looked physically okay, although some of the men with him said he might receive medical attention abroad due to the car crash he was involved in on Monday.”

Akpabio, who is currently the Minority Leader of the Senate, was involved in a car accident on his way to the airport to catch an international flight on Monday.

His car ran into a convoy of some United State’s embassy officials while trying to beat the traffic light.

It was learnt that the occupants of the vehicles in the convoy of the US embassy and Akpabio’s driver did not sustain any injury but the senator suffered some injuries in the chest region.

It was gathered that the accident occurred around 7.25am near the Bolingo Hotel, along Abuja Airport Road, in the Central Business District of the FCT, and Akpabio was immediately rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja for an intensive care.

Akpabio, it was learnt, was travelling outside the country on Monday to visit his wife and children when the accident happened.

The US Embassy also confirmed that the convoy of the former governor collided with a suburban jeep belonging to the mission.

The Senior Information Specialist in the embassy, Sani Mohammed, stated that local authorities had commenced investigation into the accident.

The Head, Media Relations and Strategy, Federal Road Safety Corps, Bisi Kazeem, said seven adult males were involved in the crash, adding that three of them including Akpabio sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Improve yourself and be careful before choosing a woman in your life. First, improve yourself. It never stops, even after marriage. Don't take marriage advice from women. Listen to what men tell you. You need to learn from men before bringing any woman into your life and most importantly, choose from her family. Don't be blinded by fantasy love. Study other men and observe. Take advice from elders, it will save you 30 years of mistakes.

Advice 2

Try to learn solitude. It will help you focus and know yourself. Study old philosophy - Stoicism, Martial Arts or any related field for discipline, African Proverbs for wisdom, and history for identity. You will need these to navigate different situations in life.

OP I wanted to add, from your comments, you sound like someone who has a good head WRT material things. In psychology, it is said that decluttering helps you to renew your energy and makes space for new things. If you want new things to come into your life, you have to be willing to let go of the old. Spiritually, you are told to give out even some things you old dear so that you are not too attached to this material world. A life of a minimalist is free 🫡

I know you may have come across some of these pictures but I believe both of you have different philosophies, so the day you have a discussion, a friendly one, she will LISTEN to you. Currently, she's hearing you but not listening. When you let the other person explain themselves and they are willing to hear you, trust me, things will start to change from there.

Thats my belief but I have managed this for a long time and still doing. So its not like its causing a huge rift. Just wanted to hear views and I thank you.

By the way, I agree with you about talking less.
You may want to ask her about growing up. It may come from her childhood. Most of the things we show as adults are what we grew up with. Why does she keep things? What is she afraid of? Maybe her mom kept things like this and it became useful one day. Maybe in school a friend of hers sold one antique item for a good amount. Don't make it about the things she keeps, just have a normal conversation so she doesn't feel attacked or on the edge which will make her defensive. And don't judge, just try to understand.

The day you sit with her to understand her childhood and circumstances that made her keep things for the rainy day, you'll learn a lot and she too will either learn or unlearn. You may find out if she is a hoarder and she doesn't know. In fact, look for those series that show how hoarders live. It may spark something in her. Many times, we are living on autopilot without ever pausing to ask WHY DO I EVEN DO WHAT I DOhuh grin smiley

One of the things you'll have to learn as a man is ignoring things, especially trivial things. However I will not consider something important to you as trivial but when you play with women on that level, they start to lose respect for you. Just do what you need to do and talk less, let your actions speak more than your words.

Throw the things away yourself. Women are nurturers. Be careful before you start being the big baby man they are taking care of. I have seen this with many men and did not understand it. Women, in their nurturing and taking care of the home start to treat you like a tenant in your own house. They always look for what to take care of and it's sometimes unconscious when they are doing it. You will see more of this with couples in their 60s - 70s when their kids have left the home and it's only both of them living together. You start to hear of grumpy daddy and that man complains too much and they start to joke about him. That's why I cannot call what is important to you trivial. If it matters to you so much, set your boundaries.

Just state what you like and what you don't like. One day, take something she has thrown into the garbage and keep it somewhere she can see maybe in your bedroom. That should pass the message.

It is how some people take sides with Iran and they live in Kaduna or how someone in Aba is taking side with Israel. You think it's just Muslims? No. Nigerians have lost their culture. They don't know who they are, this is why they try to attach themselves to what gives them meaning.

Lose your culture and history, lose your identity. It's okay to be on the side of the oppressed in Palestine but bro, have you asked your brothers what's up with Nigeria? Religion is another tool we have left in the hand of opportunists to create division amongst our people.

While religion has had positive influences, it has also been exploited to manipulate, control, and undermine rational thinking. I have no problem with religion but I will advise you spend more time learning about your roots. You will be empowered and free minded they day you start that.

Agreed, including declining living standards and a harsh economic climate. But how would they have adequate sex when they have brainwashed themselves that sex is bad? You have men refusing to sexually satisfy their wives because of so-called tradition, and women arrogantly asking their husbands, "If sex is food?" Some, if not most of them just married to fulfil societal rites, but continue their sexual affairs with people outside their marriages.

They deserve whatever they get.
There is nothing, absolutely nothing you can do to satisfy women 100%. Once you know this, protect your energy. That's why men whose wives cheat on them should thank God for showing her the way out. A man should live up to his responsibility emotionally, financially and everything but he must not try to overdo it because a woman who will never be satisfied will never be. That's why it's more important to choose a woman who's crazy over you than you her over her. E get why. Women's minds get easily distracted by comparing themselves to one another. That's their flaw. You can be doing well but just because she sees onean doing better than you, you become the problem or you are not doing well enough. There's nothing women do that's not to their favor. Women are very cold and calculating. They don't take any decisions that does not involve their survival. Even when Buchi who used to write about women and their liberation talked about polygamy as a way of marriage, it was still about the WOMAN. Always the woman. That's why women are not best friends as in laws. They know themselves too well. Always looking for control. And the man who is the price, prize and source is the resource.

Yesterday I read one Nairalander who said she married her husband thinking she would have fair children or light skinned children. I read that message and smh because in the man's mind he had no idea he was a launchpad to get what she really wanted. Women are always looking for a means of survival, don't pay attention to them. Watch what they do not what they say.

If women loved themselves, they would easily produce the next president and Governor because they have the numbers but they never want to admit their own scam. Always looking at blaming men or not accepting responsibility for their own faults.
