AlphaTaikun:If the young man went to Alaba market or Computer Village where they could probably steal his phone, that would be original content. He didn't need to visit places Nigerians think are places. I wrote on the other thread that Nigerians think when they go to shops abroad, they have traveled without realizing travel is about experience. If he took the train, that is experience but I give it to him using a danfo because that is authenticity. It's living like Lagosians. Many people have shown this to our governments but they don't get it. The yellow buses and taxis represent something important in the state but our officials always think that we must look like Dubai (as Ambode once said) or one foreign place instead of being ourselves. I once saw the old Oshodi artwork in a museum abroad. You may be right about the Ghana sabotage but they still made me laugh when I saw the jollof they made ![]() |
fergie001:Did PDP take APC/ACN's nominees when they were in power? Or how did Obanikoro become a Minister? |
AlphaTaikun:I watched the Wode Maya interview where he talked about it. Now, it's still disingenuous to expect that the authorities will be told about it. Why? Who is ishowspeed? He's a bloody blogger. Yes, he streams online and is the most popular and earns the most, I don't put it to him to promote anything. For instance, I hear them talking about Peller, Peller wey no go school go understand the tourism strategy. See, it's not about planning for a special welcome and curating your story. Like Wode said, these streamers thrive on action, not organisation and for his demography, they love ACTION. What the state should do and the government too is put things in place for whoever comes in. He is a young man. Not every country welcomed him, Ethiopia did but in a different way and they did not involve any celebrities but again, the young man said he wanted authentic experience, not curated ones. In the other thread where I commented, I highlighted that other people have come into Lagos or Nigeria, there's no big deal about this young man. The only difference is the hype and buzz. SixSeven:The streamer has some statistics to keep up otherwise his stream count will go down. He didn't meet with Peller because as the analyst said, they belong to different streaming platforms so he wouldn't promote it. See we don't need to script everything, Nigeria alone is enough content but for the officials to sit down there and wait for people to come to the and then inform them, they are not ready yet. They say they were not informed but Peller already knew the young man was coming? I laugh in Isalẹ Eko. If every visitor has to inform you that we are coming to your country, then you have a lot of work to do more than North Korea. Tourism is not by force and through force. You put things in place and it sells itself. |
Laple0541:He better accept his fate and move on. He will learn responsibility by force. Na him seed enter the woman belle and give am pikin. He should be grateful for the gift of life. I don't want to abuse him because I know as the child is growing up, his brain and experience will be growing too.

A father does not steal from his own home. Children give men purpose because you have a mouth to feed and that turns on your provider brain button.

Rutherinspace:Because it's what the ordinary people feel that matters more than statistics. I'm not saying that stats is bad, I'm just saying that people only feel numbers when those numbers are affecting their lives directly. Any other thing is just economic gymnastics. The ordinary man on the street does not need Macroeconomics 101 to know if his life has improved in a year or not. |
Svoboda:It's because of governors I don't necessarily blame the President, whoever it may be. Governors did not allow LG's work so it means if you give Nigerians a chance, they will be worse than what they criticised. I remember vividly that even APC then chastised PDP for the way Governor Amaechi was treated by FG. All of them are the same. Today, they are all rushing to put their kids in LG Chair because allocations are going to LG directly. I also don't believe democracy is the problem because whether it's military, democracy or any type of government, it's the sincerity of the office holder that matters. Unfortunately these people are so myopic, when they get the chance they take our money abroad and only want to help their family and friends 🤡 instead of everyone benefitting |
anonimi:Why are you writing stories for the guy. Just give him what his master told us, NA STATISTICS WE GO CHOP ![]() |
Habbeyy:Indeed, that's how Governor Tinubu avoided confrontation with President Obasanjo abi? Cowardice asks, ‘Is it safe?’ Courage asks, ‘Is it right?’ A coward believes he will always live if he keeps away from danger that's why they fear every breeze. Just so you know that “He who is afraid of suffering is already suffering from what he fears.” |
Svoboda:I understand. Thanks for mentioning this. You would think that due to the suffer wey Tinubu and their type chop under OBJ, they would make some changes but no, they prefer it this way. Governors became powerful after 2007 especially in 2010 when Yar Adua saga was on and the NGF. It's still not good for our democracy. |
kaludestiny10:Sarcasm is the body's natural defense against stupidity ![]() |
Eeya... from G5 to GSM 1, I love politicians and their abracadabra. It's not me they are deceiving, they are deceiving themselves. You worked with your fellow governors to pull your party down and now you want to pretend like you did not see what the nPDP governors did made you guys lose the 2015 elections. You come repeat am for 2023. Engineer Seyi, clap for yourself with 1 finger, the remaining 4 have left you. 1 of them is so useful to the President's ambition that he not only helped him win one of the swing states (Kano, Rivers and Lagos), he is the 001 of his state despite being in opposition. Na you remain. All of you should kontinuu If your party was serious, na all of you dem suppose expel from the party for anti-party activities. I saw someone saying that governors in ADC if they win must not be made the party leaders of each state and I totally agree. That's how it's supposed to be but money politics has spoilt everything

thesicilian:What happened to KORA Awards. We have, it's just long throat and inferiority complex that's worrying some people who want to be 'international' so they can brag they are better than local. |
kaludestiny10:I agree, that is the true example of a servant leader |
The speed boy said he wanted to experience real people and not meet celebrities but our state officials did not understand the assignment, they said next time they should be informed when someone is coming to the state so they package the experience like they did to Ciara as if citizens of the state don't deserve the same packaging to live a normal life. I was even more dumbfounded when the Arise anchor was insisting that they make it a law that the state must be informed. The joke is on you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoOdpl9WnsU |
Macphenson:. The irony is when they call themselves progressives or democrats 🤡 |
Appoint your freaking ambassadors and make the institutions work, stop this patch patch here and there wasting our money. There's a reason why some people are career ambassadors and diplomats. Tantita is an abnormally because there is the Nigerian Navy but we prefer to empower private individuals above state. And if you know when Tantita came to being, you will be wise to know that my comment cuts across both parties. What a country Edit: in fact, Tantita contract and similar types should be a question our journalists should ask the 2027 Presidential candidates |
nairalanda1:This is Lagos in 1967 & 1977 respectively https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n88Ffll3s3M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkBioPke8lM If there is one thing people gave BRF credit for, it was cleanliness and clearing of Oshodi that was thought to be impossible. BRF was no angel but it was so bad that people foooolishly complained about him planting trees for the environment. If you take your time to listen to him, Fashola said New York, London and Dubai plant trees, he didn't mention anything about budget or revenue, he just did what needs to be done from what he saw. He didn't make silly comparisons being made here about population and revenue. If you want a longer video of Fashola talking at LSE onagos environmental plan, I can show you too. Don't trick us, this is why I call the so-called mega plan APC and the people tout as a fraud. Because if they had a plan, they will all follow it to the T. The other day, they were showing us a thread of Sanwoolu commissioning street lights and I had to remind them that Ambode did this in his first term so what happened I digress https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0m93D0LXj8 Abi was it not Fashola who closed Ladipo market for being dirty https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHrJjiP091I Ambode came in and messed the whole system up with his failed waste management contract. Stop giving excuses. |
On the week Melania just launched her book... |
It's the way the drivers don't maintain lane discipline for me despite the lane markings |
Mynd44:When it comes to nonsense and jagbajantis, you lots are quick to mention Western cities, when it comes to basic infrastructure, you run away Tokyo. Singapore. Seoul. Hong Kong. Shanghai. Vienna. Zurich. Munich. Copenhagen. All mega / high-density cities. All largely clean. New York, Paris, London have issues but they still run waste systems, drainage, enforcement. Dirt isn’t caused by population. It’s caused by poor governance and weak sanitation systems. You cannot excuse government and its policies out of this and when you cite New York or those cities, they don't sleep on the dirt and make it normal, they work on it. https://www.tiktok.com/video/7568884572788772127 "The truth is that most cities with high population are dirty and they smell" Population size alone does not make a city dirty or smelly, it is governance, infrastructure, waste systems, and citizen behavior that matter. Smell and filth come from policy failures such as poor waste collection, weak enforcement, bad drainage, underfunded sanitation and not from people simply existing. Again, dirtiness is overwhelmingly driven by policy, urban planning, and sanitation systems, not by the number of people if you take a look at the world's cleanest cities in the world and their population and compare the data. It’s a silly argument for blaming poor sanitation on population expansion rather than population management. And a very convenient one for governments that don’t want accountability. |
Wait o. I expected them to be giving him massage, instead he's giving them massage. Na who carry phone enter the place too ![]() |
If this is a response to the poll that was just concluded, you guys have a lot of work to do. As this person on the thread rightly said, the whole point of the thread was propaganda but I like how you guys love online polls when it is in your favor but when it is not, na statistics we go chop? There is no voting booth online. There is no social media president etc. Wonderful Slippy:Let me ask you a question. When Yar Adua was there, people complained, worse still, they complained about Jonathan. Hindsight is 20/20 so the propaganda of comparing tinubu to the past fell flat on its face. Do a poll between Tinubu and future contestants, let's check something. It's not looking backward, shey you have won the past, Oya do the one for the future. Compare Tinubu to the candidates on a fresh poll and ask those who love his administration the most in that propaganda poll who they will vote for between him and the other candidates. Also, if you are not afraid of polls, let the people vote, put it on front page, let's get views from everyone. Don't do corner polls, be bold and do a free fair poll. A winner should not be scared of their own popularity that they want to do online polls like INEC surprise result announcement na The total number of people who voted in that poll = 393 is not up to those who voted in the election poll. You guys really need to stay one place, do you believe in polls or not? 🤡
|
ekhai:Is that an achievement? That the voters in the villages have no ACCESS to social media or the internet 🤡This poll is interesting to see. I remember in 2023 how polls were conducted and we know who won but magically, some people want us to deny polls as a representative of the people's sentiments. They use words like no polling online, no social media boot and those kind of uneducated comments simply because only thugs think that way. This is the importance of education. You go through the process and finish it. You take your time to make sure that the process that makes you become president is presidential. It's not about chopping statistics and making announcements hurriedly or snatching it and running away with it. A true sportsman fears no honest competition but a crooked person behaves like Morocco at the AFCON. IYKYK https://www.tiktok.com/video/7601687491996912926

Sonofgod1990:Wow. So one of the posts that was on FP last year was from a Lala handle from IG. I didn't know that, so when I mentioned it the mods changed the url to remove the handle. This was the post SixSeven:I guess I didn't have time for NL when this happened |
Sonofgod1990:Late could mean he's dead. Late could mean he's late to the party. Google is ya friend ![]() |
