PoliticsRe: 2027: Obidients And The Illusion Of Political Dominance by SixSeven:
4 boys and girls tweeting in a room are giving landlords a headache. You'd think these obidients are noisy naughty kids but after I listened to one of them talk about their ideology on national TV, I smh for their parents and elders. They failed their children and now the children want to take their country back.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-qgUo2mwaw

When I heard the young man say he wanted someone who represented values and they would hold the person to account, I understood why they are a headache to the establishment. Some people only want their candidates to win for power but Nigeria is beyond power grabs, what about impact with governance? You have power and you can't use it, what a waste of ambition. What Obidients represent is what they don't want ie. people asking questions, holding their leaders to account and demanding response. Look around you, they've killed all the institutions including the media, they want everyone to be bambiala and sycophants, that's a big worry to them.

You cannot satisfy man's greed. It's never enough. They keep asking for more and more and more. They want the best of everything and they are selfish. Why? Because they only care about themselves. Guys don't forget that Dangote challenged the oil regulator boss to show Nigerians how he pays for his kids schooling in Switzerland private schools! Those kind of children, do you think they will work a minimum wage job and be okay? Never. Their parents have already corrupted their OS from foundation. These elites in public service should all be taken and flogged in the public square. After they steal, what do they do? They foolishly buy houses abroad, send their children abroad and build economies outside. They are so insecure, they can't afford to see their people living life in a normal way. They want you to be bambiala for them. That's why they are scared of us asking them questions. They want to distract you and I and take your dignity away so you can worship them. Number 3 may be coming and it's not a curse. He said it with his own mouth. We are told Tinubu went for a knee surgery, we have no idea maybe it got worse from the June 12 fall but this time in Turkey he fell on his head. Tinubu underwent knee surgery in London in 2021, before the 2023 presidential campaign, long before he fell at the Democracy Day parade in 2024. His knee issues have been attributed to chronic problems such as arthritis, and aides have explained that the surgery and recovery affected his gait and mobility.

Funnily, the traditional worshipers are not as intolerant as Muslims and Christians in this country. Tinubu won't be the first leader to stumble and even fall because he is human after all.

The mischief makers are mainly from a section of the country and they know themselves.

They are the perpetual fault-finders!

They hate anything associated with Nigeria and always wish bad things happen to her.

Alas, Nigeria is blessed to the glory of God!

No weapon fashioned against her shall prosper, no matter how hard they try.

@hotseat
False. Your assertion misrepresents the role of criticism, distorts motives, and violates core principles of responsible journalism. While you frame dissent and scrutiny as “mischief” driven by sectional hatred, journalism ethics demand evidence-based reporting, fairness, and accountability especially when covering those in power. How else do we hold them to power? Wasn't Yar'Adua scrutinized as a President? Didn't they do the same to Jonathan and Buhari? You want us to bend over and become slaves to someone who is not there on his own but supposedly on the people's mandate?

First, journalism is not an exercise in loyalty or patriotism, but in truth-telling. Ethical journalism requires reporters to document events as they occur, regardless of who is affected or offended. Any responsible journalist should know this, including Abike. When a leader stumbles, fails, or makes controversial decisions, it is not “mischief” to report it, it is a professional obligation. If you noticed, once he fell, the cameraman zoomed out, that's also professional reportage because they are trained to prepare for the unexpected. Labeling criticism as hatred for Nigeria conflates government performance with national identity, a dangerous narrative that discourages accountability. A nation is not its leaders, and questioning leadership is not the same as wishing a country harm.

Second, your statement relies heavily on generalization and attribution without evidence, which violates journalistic standards of accuracy and verification. Claiming that “mischief makers are mainly from a section of the country” without data or proof promotes stereotyping and regional division. Ethical journalism explicitly warns against such framing because it inflames tensions and replaces facts with insinuation. Responsible reporting avoids attributing motives such as hatred or bad faith unless they can be independently verified. Moreover the haters you claim, were they the ones recording the event or they scheduled the president's visits and logistics? Did they ask the president to fall? You cannot be a public official and expect to live a life of secret until you leave that office.

Third, journalism ethics emphasize the importance of holding power to account. Leaders are public servants, and scrutiny is a cornerstone of democracy. To dismiss critics as “perpetual fault-finders” undermines the watchdog role of the press. Many of the world’s most significant reforms have emerged from persistent criticism, investigative reporting, and uncomfortable questions. Silencing or discrediting these voices weakens democratic institutions rather than protecting them. It was because of this persistence that we did not allow some cabal take over the Presidency when Yar'Adua's health was shrouded in secrecy and our commonwealth was being signed away by people we did not elect. Are you guys blinded to your loyalty to your man gods that you don't care about the country? Country above persons please.

Fourth, invoking religious or moral absolutes, such as “no weapon fashioned against Mr ABC shall prosper” may be personally meaningful, but it does not substitute for factual analysis. Hope and patriotism cannot negate economic data, security reports, governance failures, or public dissatisfaction.

Finally, your statement promotes emotional framing over factual reasoning, which journalism ethics caution against. Responsible reporting prioritizes context, balance, and evidence, not emotional loyalty or defensive nationalism. When journalists or commentators abandon these principles, they risk becoming advocates rather than informers, thereby misleading the public.

A strong Nigeria is not built by denying failures or attacking critics, but by confronting realities honestly and transparently. Please take a hot seat and stop deceiving your masters! Truth does not mind being challenged but lies do.

PoliticsRe: Turkish Officials Shocked Tinubu's Stumble Made Headlines In Nigeria – Abike by SixSeven: 4:22pm On Jan 29
Oh please Abike, don't start to deceive us. Just dead the matter. There's no need to feel guilty about it. The US you guys love to quote for bad references mocked Biden when he fell. Trump called him Sleepy Joe but Trump himself also fell asleep and fell while working and it made headlines. You guys should get a grip!

https://www.tiktok.com/video/7239808056245226794

Trump was terribly mocked during his first term in office and they made joke of everything he did, even the slightest. I don't admire left and right of American politics because it's too extreme but that's the playbook you guys copied. When you were in opposition, you did worse so just keep quiet and accept fate.

What exactly is the job of the media if they don't talk about EVENTS? You will think Abike will know better as a journalist but APC government of propaganda is scared of the power of the media so they always try to muscle the media and paint themselves as infallible 🤡

I deduce your negative mindset about Lagos and Yoruba people.... However, if Lagos, which happens to be the only metropolitan state in Nigeria, can still have this kind of environment, do you know what the tour guide or the YouTuber manager could have told him about the rest of the 36 states? Mention your region, and I will keep on listing some of the desecrated hubs you have in each community in your region. For you to know, I have toured the entire States in the country; there is no State I cannot speak specific things about ... I might have even visited your village. Where you not shocked when one woman threw away her toy?

The toys do not solve it. They too expire.
I am personally not a fan of anything unnatural but why I suggested the toy was because while it is important to satisfy her, you cannot give what you don't have or let me put it this way, you can't give more than you can supply to her and if she's not satisfied with your last comment above, then it's not really you. The toys are addictive and no man can match that machine power, he will simply die. For example you say she comes but you are still worried about that look. Could it just be you over analyzing the look? Are you projecting fear? Are you responsible for her fantasy? If a man imagines a woman with big bum bum and his wife doesn't have it, he will blame her when he should own up to his unrealistic fantasy. See, I understand your topic and I know men go through it. It's funny because initially, the virgin women are not interested in sex and the child birth makes it worse, then all of a sudden they start to want it more especially around their 30s and I am only writing from personal research and experience. Female libido and sexual satisfaction can fluctuate and often increase with age. Many women have lower orgasm frequency and sexual satisfaction early in sexual life, especially at first intercourse, compared with men. This is well-documented in sex research and contributes to the idea that early sexual experiences can be less pleasurable. With experience, she wants to explore more. Studies attribute this to better sexual knowledge and confidence, less fear, shame, or pain (she's already used to the ritual), more stable partner (you are in a marriage) and less anxiety about pregnancies. The missing part is communication here. It's not how big your tool is, it's how you use it to make her feel wholesome. The same women who can take different horse power will complain that the thing is too big. You are not responsible for her fantasy but I believe she deserves wholesome sex but if you are not sure and it's just by the look, I think it's all in your head.

No one does free publicity for Peter Obi than APC. Ambassador designate, your job is to not sew the seeds of discord and division, it's to represent EVERY NIGERIAN. YOU are truly not fit for this job dem dash you.

Oga, just one question to make you understand. If you are an American looking for a waterfall to visit in Africa, why would you visit Erin Ijesha, Gurara, and Farin Ruwa when you could just visit Victoria Falls?

Again, have you ever seen the pyramids in Egypt? That's why people visit Egypt. That country may not have a safari, but it is an archaeological gold mine.

You are a travel advisor, and your European clients want to visit 20 African countries for a breathtaking, remarkable experience. Make an argument why Nigeria should be on that list.
.

Your first question, my answer is THAT IS WHAT IS SHOWN OR MARKETED TO ME. When the Jacksons came to Nigeria, they went to Badagry because of the story there.

To your second point, I'm sure you know in history about Egypt and Sudan. Sudan actually has more pyramids in the world than any other country but we go to Egypt, not Sudan.

For your last question, na Hawanatu Musawa go answer that one o. Na her work be dat cheesy but she's been talking about Shettima not being replaced so maybe there's something else she needs to do. On a more serious note, I will argue if I was given the task because one man cannot build a country, it's concerted efforts. I will advocate more based on sentiments and what I know but this may not be felt by the foreigners. For instance, I personally like the 'mystery' around Lugard House in Kogi but what's the concern of Michael with that? Again, I cited Macron's visit to the Shrine and that was because he lived here so he must have visited the place for fun as an officer. The government has to coordinate all of these and make it a package people are interested in. For so long, our government did not see the value in Nollywood but the artistes did and they saw the value and recognition when they went out of Nigeria. When you travel as a Nigerian, who do foreigners ask you about your country? It's what they see they know. If I visit a film festival, they will show me a place where a popular actor stepped foot on. Tourism is a serious topic to be worked on by our government. There is no need to

Ok congratulations. Let's just put it this way, you think Nigeria is among the most beautiful countries in Africa, but I differ. I don't think Nigeria makes the top 20. We can disagree; that's not a problem.
I updated my comment. Thanks.

Oga, I can bet you have not traveled much. With all the many things you wrote, you could not mention one beautiful place in Nigeria. Now, I did not say that Nigeria doesn't have beautiful places, but for it to become a meaningful international tourist attraction, you have to compare it to other African destinations. My guy, your country won't crack the top 20. There is nothing really remarkable; our mountains are not close to the biggest, and our wildlife does not rank in the top 25. Our lakes are just there compared to many others. Our waterfalls are ordinary. So what is the Nigerian advantage?
Travel outside Nigeria, and you will see that we have nothing to boast of.
In Nigeria, we still think Olumo Rock is some remarkable thing.
I deliberately did not write where I have traveled to for my personal reasons. I have been to nothing less than 30 states in Nigeria FYI. And when I say visit, it's not a one night stay or passing by. But if you take it that I am not well traveled because I refuse to mention one place, I am not obliged to release information about myself to the internet. Some bloggers are able to show us what they have experienced. Whenever I see what's visual, I share, just like I did in previous posts here. Which reminds me, when you watch travel bloggers from Around the World in 80 days to YouTubers, it's all about showing different experiences and environments.

First off, nobody is claiming Nigeria beats Kenya or Tanzania at classic safari tourism. Tourism isn’t a premiership board where “biggest mountain and most lions = top places to visit.” By that logic, Switzerland should be irrelevant because it has no wildlife, and Dubai should be nothing but sand. Nigeria doesn’t have Kilimanjaro neither does Ghana, Senegal, or The Gambia and people still visit them. Obudu isn’t meant to compete with the Atlas or wherever similar but it competes with places like Nyungwe (Rwanda) or Cameron Highlands (Malaysia) with cool weather, views, forest hikes.

We are also not top-tier safari. But again, Morocco, Egypt, Cape Verde, Tunisia, none of these are wildlife destinations either, yet they outperform many “wildlife-rich” countries in tourism. Why? Culture, cities, food, history, access. Most famous waterfalls worldwide aren’t extreme. Niagara falls in Canada is basically wide water falling off a modest drop. Erin Ijesha, Gurara, Farin Ruwa aren’t “ordinary” in a global sense, they’re ordinary only if you’re benchmarking everything against Victoria Falls, which is lazy comparison. I remember listening to Saheed Osupa Who was so disappointed with Niagara falls and he was asking himself if we didn't have that at home. I chuckled. I am sure you must have watched the AFCON or bits of it, I told someone that there's a reason the Arabs invested in a loss making world cup in Qatar. Morocco is also hosting different tournaments because it's part of the government's plan to attract new investments and showcase their tourism industry

Lagos alone generates more global cultural influence than entire African countries that rank higher in “tourism beauty.” Nollywood, Afrobeats, fashion, nightlife, these are real tourism drivers globally. I don't want to veer into entertainment and focus on nature. Ask why people go to Seoul, Mumbai, or São Paulo. It’s not waterfalls. So yeah, if your definition of tourism is “animals + tall things,” Nigeria has nothing to show. But that’s not how modern tourism works, and plenty of successful destinations prove it. Even SMALL Detty December that Lagos did got Accra shaking. If Nigeria takes organization seriously, I won't have to write story. Our vibe alone is much to be experienced.

The issue isn’t that Nigeria has “nothing”, it’s that we keep marketing the wrong things and underinvesting in the things we’re actually good at. When you travel to any country, from the planes, you start reading about the country and destinations. You see places you can visit. I was writing on the other thread why the place Tafawa Balewa died isn't a historical site or why Akintola's house was converted to a court. There are plenty stories to tell about is and only the outsider sees us better. I wrote there too why you think visitors go to Mende in Maryland to buy hand made products but there are too many things to sell that we don't see them. When I travel, what each country sells is not special, they are selling their stories and if nature is part of it, it's an extra.
France sells romance, food, fashion, and museums. The USA sells scale, cities, entertainment, and national parks. Brazil sells carnival, football, beaches, and energy.
Japan sells culture, technology contrast, food, and order. Thailand sells affordable luxury, mangirls cheesy beaches, and nightlife.
The UAE sells excess, luxury, shopping, and spectacle. Morocco sells exotic culture, old cities, and desert views. Egypt sells ancient history, pyramids, and legacy. Kenya and Tanzania sell safari and wildlife. Tanzania adds Kilimanjaro as the extra. Rwanda sells gorillas, order, and cleanliness. Cleanliness is a feature but it's also tourism and people go to Rwanda and Japan just to feel cleanliness. Ghana sells heritage, diaspora connections, and culture.

At least 26 states, and to me, the state with the most natural beauty is Taraba
Someone who has travelled 26 states of Nigeria can never write what you wrote. I agree that Taraba is beautiful. In all my travel round Nigeria, the country is blessed. I know some foreigners who deliberately come to Nigeria, Kano precisely because of the sun. East, West, South or North, the country is beautiful. There's nothing they show abroad in their tourist sites that Nigeria does not have the equivalent. They are just poorly managed and our government officials don't think. Train rides was a norm in the past and people schooled in the north and lived in the south. I am always wondering why our president will be doing vacation abroad where Obudu is. There are places in Ondo and Enugu to get away from the noise and live on the hills. Cold, hot, mid, you'll find it in the country and the natural scenery is nothing to be seen elsewhere.

I am happy social media is now capturing some of the beauty for all to witness

We just need government that has sense to provide infrastructure and security. Nature already did its job.
PoliticsRe: Sowore Calls Wike "A Bully", Predicts Political Disgrace (Video) by SixSeven: 11:07am On Jan 28
Sowore himself is a bully. What's the definition of bully.

bully1
/ˈbʊli/
noun
a person who habitually seeks to harm or intimidate those whom they perceive as vulnerable.

someone who hurts or frightens someone else, often over a period of time, and often forcing them to do something that they do not want to do

I like Sowore's analysis. He's useful to our ecosystem but whenever I listen to him, he threatens people who are his opposition. That's why I know he can't be a good leader. Of course, exchanging insults is part of the trade but with his SR and his interviews, you see someone who is just like Wike. And to me, these kind of people are not good leaders but they are good critics and democracy needs them on the other side. SR used to publish stories about individuals and threaten them, call them names and intimidate them because they have intel from their sources. I guess his aluta was installed in him so he can't take it away. When Sowore talks about other candidates, that's when you see his bullish side. Someone who releases confidential information between himself and another person, especially as a journalist who is trained to protect his spruces cannot be trusted with leadership. It's like Trump who released Marco Rubio's note to the press and showed us Macron's text. That's what Bullies do.
