Its a shame that custom officers are doing rubbish on the highway and punishing people unnecessarily, where dem dey when the cars passed thru the border, if they mean business why cant they impound it right there, but all na corruption, some of their official will collect settlement and let the car pass, the owner is on his own if he encounters any other custom checkpoint. i think its more reasonable to leave their checkpoint only to the borders. its their failure that such cars ever pass thru the border in the first place , so they should not be harrassing people on the highway.


And even when you have the correct papers and the car came in through lagos port, they still find way to extort you.
i was once told that the duty paid on my car is too small, that they will impound the car if i dont drop something.Can you imagine !!!!!.

When i went to visit my Bro in BENIN, I had a bad experience in one Night Club with system men, it happens that i mistakenly mash of the guy shoe (system man) while they were drinking beer round a table and the guy told me to nail down and use my hanki to clean the shoe, it was really a turf thing for me to do, i decline one of them attempted to bust a bottle of star on my head, i have to alarm my brother to come it took abt 15 mins to calm the whole area. but seriously if not for my brother i wouldnt know what might cause me. that is my first encounter with cult guys. i did not clean the shoe anyway.

Nigeria is a developing country and has lots and lots of potential.

Some NIDs abroad who have worked hard academically and gained years of experience, are very well equipped to make a difference for Nigeria in these developing times when there is a great capacity to fill. Their skills are what is needed to put Nigeria on the path of competition with the west.


Obviously some of these professionals have families and responsibilities , so you do not expect them to come back home and work for charity.


The mere courage that many of these people take to come back home despite the revelation of stress, hardship and numerous obstacles is enough sacrifice on its own.

that's why they should be respected.
