What was your response - you claimed that there are no contradictions and errors in the Quran. However, you didn't answer the 2nd part of my question. The Quran claimed to be perfect and was in Heaven even before the creation of the world (even the Bible that was revealed and written before the Quran never made such a claim) yet it couldn't communicate to us clearly what it meant by a sun setting. So, it needed you (skak) to EXPLAINED it to me (which you did by the way). So, look at what is happening:

1. I come across a section of the Quran that says the sun sets in muddy water when you travel so far west-wards. (Scientific and Factual Error)
2. You - zkak (A muslim) comes and re-interprets it for me saying no Allah didn't mean that; he meant it was a reflection. The Quran makes a claim that it is clear and anyone can understand it but you had to explain it for me. Apparently, the author in this section of the Quran isn't a good communicator
3. To be sure, we go back to another authoritative source for the real interpretation. The Hadith shows how the prophet Mohammed interpreted the same Surahs. So, this wasn't the author in the Quran, or you, or me, or Alexander the great but the prophet himself asked one of his companions where does the sun set? His companion said, By Allah, only you the holy prophet knows. Then the prophet Mohammed said and I quote "It sets in a spring of warm water".

I don't think you understand what this means - you can play pretend and ignore it and accuse me of not understanding it but again - I have gone no where other than the Quran and the Hadith so you can't accuse me of arguing blindly or been bias.

I told you, for me - the contradictions don't matter but the incitement to VIOLENCE in Islam is the issue. Violence is not a monopoly for only a certain group of people. However, when you kill in the name of Allah without been attacked, then we have to understand what is happening. If you tell me it's only extremist that does it - I will tell you that you have a WHOLE LOT of extremist in the Muslim world and you should teach them the Quran about peace and not Christians.

Sunan Abu Dawud 3991—Abu Dharr said: I was sitting behind the Apostle of Allah who was riding a donkey while the sun was setting. He asked: Do you know where this sets? I replied: Allah and his Apostle know best. He said: It sets in a spring of warm water

So, accordingly to the prophet Mohammed there is a place the pool sets. Can you tell me where? Now remember, you clarified and said it was a reflection and your explanation shows that scientifically and factually, it can't be otherwise. The above Hadith says otherwise - it literally says the holy prophet confirmed the SUN SITS IN A POOL OF WATER.

(Hilani-Khan)And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnain. Say: "I shall recite to you something of his story." Verily, We established him in the earth, and We gave him the means of everything. So he followed a way. Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water. And he found near it a people.

This section of the Quran is talking about Alexander the Great traveling very far west-wards and after traveling so far he came to a place where the sun actually sets. The verse above says that the Sun physically sets in a spring of muddy water and people live there. This is where I need help, the verse appears to be saying that the sun sets physically in a place and Dhul-Qarnain (Alexander the great) reach this place. Scientifically and factually, this is impossible. I will like you to clarify this for me. Please be patient and guide me so I can understand what these verses are saying, please.

Now, I have read the entire chapter of this Surah so I am not only lifting a portion of it so please don't accuse me of quoting it out of context. Also, please stick to the question and patiently answer me from the Quran and Hadith if necessary and not compare it something else that is not related - that is only fair.

There are Many like "Simon" who have come and go and even today. They claim to be Christian, without genuine repentance, while thier heart is fear from the true teaching of the Scripture. I believe God is much bigger than our understanding, and His Church transcends denominational lines. I believe God can look into the heart of a Catholic and recognize a heart that follows Christ. Could you say that Mother Theresa is not a Christian? That been said, I also believe there is a responsibility on the part of Christians to expose false teachings whether it is in Churches or in Mosques; I hope you get me.

Again, I will happily answer all your questions. I will not blindly turn an eye because of religious leanings. However, the perfect example of a true Christian is not the Catholic church or the Anglican Church or any other Church but Jesus the Christ himself. He is our only example. Likewise, Muhammed should be the example of every muslim, his life, character, actions and history will show how a muslim should live. Do you agree with this? This is one of the reason, the Protestant church sprang up and protested against Catholicism. The veneration of Mary and symbols of "Jesus" in Catholic Cathedrals and homes are not Christian beliefs. Christians worship God in Spirit and Truth. John 4:23 ===> But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him

Exodus 20:1-10 is an example of God telling his people not to worship any idol whatsoever. Please read it and see it. I hope I have thrown some light on it for you. I will re-affirm it again; the VENERATION OF STATUES/IMAGES OF MARY/"JESUS" are not Christian principles.
