Forget about the incident in the Oba’s palace for a second, because this is a thread regarding what happened in Rivers. The Governor is not castigating the Igbos, but rather decrying the activities of the IPOB, and don’t forget some Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Cross River and Delta indigenes are members of this group. What I’m trying to say is the membership is drawn from other States and not just the Eastern States.

It is no secret that the mayhem unleashed in Rivers was done by the members of this group. The Governor as the CSO cannot just sit and fold his hands while his State is turned into a battle ground.

The northerners, Easterners and Southerners are all equals in the State. Rivers people accommodate all.

Not at all. I also have nothing against you becoming the VP however, it’s not realistic NOW, perhaps in the future. We just need to focus on the real issues for now and set the climate for what we want in the nearest future

Granted there is freedom of speech, but at the same time one should try to be constructive with that speech especially at this period of time in the country when real issues are being discussed. Saying falz for President and Peruzzi for IGP at this time only reeks of joke, to say but the least, and a mockery to those who have put their lives on the line in the past few weeks. It’s just saddening how we turn everything into a joke.

It seems you dont follow latest developments on the refineries. The GMD is handing over to private companies to run the refineries. The new model is to use refinery operators to run the refineries and they make their margins. More like PPP but with more hands on from the private operators.

From what i got from my source, this promotion exercise will be concluded next month. Said that's the reason EH recruitment has been placed on hold. This internal realignment only affects SS2, SS1 and M6 staff... Hopefully we should start getting info and/or mails from end of sept - oct depending on how soon the corporation wants to on-board EH recruits.

The promotional exam is actually on going.
The COO was at PHRC yesterday and the GMD will be there today.
A lot going on right now with regards to their staff, I don’t know if they would want to add EH to it right now. Perhaps after everything is sorted.
